  I'm losing my mind! I'm trying to generate the doc printed in order to sort through a bunch of pages in print to rethink the Organization of some of my projects. Ironically, whenever I have generate the printed doc (I did about 20 times so far), these pages are not found! I have included in the table of contents, I have them left a book in a book, I removed from the table of contents and added to a book that is generated as a chapter. I've renamed the book to remove non-alphanumeric characters. I've deleted the book and created a new book with a completely different name. I have NOTHING will get these pages to print. SO - I have 175 p. 175-page document that did not need to be printed, and I can't for the life of me print the +/-20 pages that are the ones I want on paper.

  Try this:

  1. open your project.
  2. click on the project tab.
  3. right click on the unique Layouts of Source folder and select new layout. Appears in the new dialog box layout.
  4. enter a name for the new layout in the appropriate field.
  5. Select Documentation printed in the output Type menu.
  6. click on the OK button to close the new dialog box layout. The new release will be in the unique Layouts of Source folder and the Print Document dialog box will appear.
  7. click on the next button.
  8. the viewport of the chapter contents remove all.
  9. click once on the chapter desired in the topics display window.
  10. click on the > button.
  11 save the layout.
  12 generate the output.

  I can't be sure, but I guess you added these topics in your table of contents, but does not update your layout of printed documents. This provision corresponds to the table of contents of your project when you first open/save it, but it is not automatically updated itself after that. you add manually new topics.

• Missing images in print Doc

  Sometimes in the last week or 10 days, something has changed.
  
  When generating print doc for Word 2003, images appear more, boxes empty.
  
  I did everything that follows, I quote excerpts from Peter:

  When I generate for posting a link to image files, I get the empty boxes, and edit links does nothing (I selects one or all, click on update now, and then click OK, or select one or all and click OK (not update links).)
  
  What is scary, is that the images appear in Word 2003 under view... Layout view and Web... Playback mode. And they print very well in both incorporated and related docs.
  
  Save the doc and return to layout mode do not display images.
  
  I have not re-installed Word since the last time I re-installed HR. Company IT is said that it does not systematically applications on the desktop without prior notification.
  
  
  What could have changed, or got corrupted? Maybe the default HR .dot model? Something in Word?
  I'm about to uninstall and Reinstall RH and, otherwise, to uninstall Word and RD and reinstall Word then HR.
  
  But I was hoping that someone has found what may happened to my settings in Word 2003, or Windows 2000 that might cause this major change in behavior.
  
  Or one of our colleagues do not think that a reinstallation is the way forward?

  Thanks, H. I'm going to do. Meanwhile, I solved the problem (apparently) by removing the hateful RoboPDF toolbar.

• When creating print doc program crash

  It is a question that has just begun to happen in the last days. I hadn't touched files as far as I can remember, but when I decided to compile a printed doc yesterday I received this message.
  
  Debug error!
  Program C:\Program Files\Robohelp Office\RoboHTML\RoboHTML.exe
  abnormal termination of the program
  (Press Retry to debug the application)
  Abort Retry Ignore
  
  If I choose any other option ignore to stop the program. If I choose to ignore it allows me to go to the extent where the content of the Document Print screen and then if I click next to advance to the Style selector it freezes up and will not be advanced. Then I get another message of end of program.
  
  As I said, it didn't happen before yesterday. I tried to restart my computer. I tried other types of output from compilation and that they are working correctly.

  OK, everything is back to normal once more. I created a new print layout and some how magically returned to normal things. Crazy!

• Why is my imac printing docs pdf with squares instead of text

  I use OS X 10.9.5. When I want to print a pdf document was sent to me from an external source (for example, my electricity bill) the document is printed with squares where the text should be.

  Sometimes if I get an overview of printing, it will look OK but always printed with squares/no text, and sometimes it shows squares in the preview. I was not able to determine a trend.

  I tried to print the docs to two printers (HL 2140 Brother and Epson WF3620) with the same result. I can't find that someone has posted the same problem in any forum...

  If there are small places where individual letters should be, it's a problem of compatibility of fonts.

  If you print from Acrobat, you can work around this by using the option 'Print as image' under 'Advanced Print Setup:

• C7280 - cannot print JPEG files - but can print docs

  Fortunately the C7280 will print documents, but if I try to print a jpeg file - nothing happens or rather...

  (a) jpeg opens in windows photo gallery

  (b) press on print

  (c) ensure that only good printer is selected as opposed to 7280 fax

  Then she sits down on a message "Please wait while the printer sends information about Windows' which takes a seriously long time – 10 minutes or in some cases just can't."  :-(

  Dell Windows Vista Business + C7280 - connected wireless PC.  JPEGs are about 2 mb in size.

  Would like some advice if someone - had to leave for a location without two JPEGs Friday because I could simply not the printer to print.  The only way I can get them now is insert into a word doc' happens instantly.

  Oops... try again:

  Solution:

  1. go in Control Panel

  2. Select Printers

  3. Select Add printer in the top bar

  4. Select the "local" option

  5. Select Deskjet 990c of the menu drop down and a default and add this.

  When you go then to print, select 990c rather than 7280 (in my case) and it works!  :-)  I hope this helps.

  I just bought a printer 2540 and installed, but it lacks at least all other lines when printing and I get horizontal stripes.  I went through the process of alignment and cleaning the heads, but it's actually got worse not better.

  I see that you have a problem with the lines and scratches on your print jobs.  I would like to make a few steps, we can go to solve this problem.

  First of all, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a bar/power strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer for example, but it is intended for HP products in general. Please click the link which explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

  I also find a document called the streaks of ink, fixing faded prints and other common print quality problems.

  I reloaded firefox after having problems with my printer access.

  Now all my documents on my computer except for word and great have been converted into web pages "Firefox". This creates problems when I need to edit, print, and distribute my files especially if I use a site PTF or "dropbox".

  Can you give me advice on how to block the automatic default value?

  Hi Gary, Firefox 31 and 32 are designed for themselves added as an extra Viewer for PDF files, but on some systems, the characterization of the PDFs also is changed accidentally.

  This approach was proposed by a user in another thread:

  1. Open Adobe Reader
  2. Edition-> Preferences
  3. In the categories column, click "General".
  4. At the bottom of the page, click on the button marked «Select default PDF Handler»
  5. In the dialog box, select 'Adobe Reader XI' and click 'apply '.
  6. A Configuration of Windows screen. Let him do his thing (takes a few minutes), and then restart your computer when you are prompted.

  I downloaded a suitable driver to install my printer hp d160 but stopped by the approval of administrator.

  I am the only user and logged on as an administrator.

  This is a new function of protection of Vista, and you can install the printer driver using the option called run as administrator.
  You must locate the applications icon or cut short and right-click on it. And select the run as Administrator option.
  Now click on the application icon or shortcut and it should work

  Hey guys, I got the bike g 2014 US version. I love it, I have a small problem though, the assist from Motorola has only 2 options, sleep mode and the mode of the meeting. I saw on YouTube there are more than that, like driving mode and other things. But I don't have those. No idea why? Thanks in advance

  When I try to print a graphic image color I get only a printed gray scale. I set the color and not Monochrome.

• OfficeJet 6500 printer E710n-z: Officejet 6500 E710n-z printer is not printing but it says printing doc is printing

  Hp Officejet 6500 printer - E710n - z does not print documents from my PC but will copy the documents placed in the tray of the printer. I set it up as a network printer with a wifi modem in another room. I used the Control Panel, click right in the image of the printer and done research failure, checked the driver (this is the last) and the control panel tells me that the document prints, but nothing happens. I am trying to print with margins of 0.5cms word documents. I tried with 0cm margins and some print and others don't which is the reason why I changed the margins to 0.5cms. I get a warning that the print area is greater than the margin and that some of the document will be lost, but that's okay for me because I am a printing table and you want to cut the paper along the lines of the grid.

  Looks like it might be a problem with this document, the settings or with Word. Are you able to print from other applications/programs?

• OfficeJet Pro 8625: Scan to computer & printer HP Assistant

  I got a new 8625 Pro of OfficeJet and struggled with the configuration of the analysis feature.  I ran the software print and Scan doctor, who said he fixed a few problems, and now I can finally scan my computer.  However, I still have a problem with scanning the computer to the printer.  When I try to scan to the computer, there is a message on the printer screen that indicates that this feature must be enabled in the Printer Wizard.  However, when I open the Printer Wizard and click on manage the scan to the computer, nothing happens - the software simply does not.  Other selections in the Printer Wizard seem to work very well - just not this one.

  I appreciate you trying these steps. I know that you have reinstalled in the past, but there is a specific set of measures, I would try.

  I would say uninstalling the software of the printer.

  Once it is uninstalled, I suggest you put your system in clean boot mode in the configuration of Microsoft.  You can do this by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

  Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest to reinstall the HP printer install wizard for Windows.
