printer not scanning

So I started doing the #2 solution and got to the part where the utility tab comes in, but there is no utility tab.

It looks like your message may have been moved by another thread on your own so I don't know what #2 solution would have been, but I'd be happy to help.

First post please returns with the answers to these questions.

  1. Is the printer connected wirelessly or with a USB cable?
  2. The printer is connected directly to a wall outlet or a surge protector? (It is preferable to connect directly on the wall)
  3. You have all other printers HP installed on this computer? If so, do you still have the printers?
  4. Is this a HP laptop or another brand?
  5. What operating system do you have? Mac or Windows?
  6. You see no error message when you try to scan, if so what they say?
  7. You can make a copy?
  8. What printer you have?

    I see that you are having problems of scanning. I'd be happy to help you!

    Before we begin, I have a few questions.

    Are you connected wirelessly or via USB?

    You have problems, make a copy?

    I would first suggest off your computer and perform a power reset the printer.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

    I would say then download and performs the scan of the HP Print and Scan Doctor.

  • What is an error of memory power 10.1000? How can I solve this problem? My printer not scan or print.

    My Laser Jet M1212nf MFP has always copied, but it is not working everytime I try to print or scan a document and it shows a memory error and power on the screen. I've tried switchof and unplug the printer, but the persits still problem. Can someone help me?

    Remove the affected cartridge. Look at where the chip on the cartridge hits drive at the rear of the machine. There are two triangular 'son' which hit the chip.

    They must both be triggered proud of their horses. In all cases of this error that I have dealt with (I'm a reseller) an or both were pushed into the mountain and are unable to flow when the cartridge is removed.

    This prevents the song currently playing.

    The solution? Take them and gently pull the proud once again so that the inserted cartrdige is firmly in contact with them.

    Problem solved! I hope this helps some people encounter this problem.

  • Able to print not scan over network, with Officejet 6500 E710n-z

    I tried with and without wire.  Printer was not detectable when connected wireless.  WLAN in wireframe, but can not scan from my office.  It gives an error of communication.  To print.  Tried with firewall disabled.  No chance!  Help, please.

    I solved it by turning off all computers, printer, router and modem and turn them then turn it back on.  It worked and now it works fine.  Thanks for your help...

  • Dell 964 all in one Photo Printer not Scan

    I have a desktop Dell Dimension 3100/E310 with a Dell 964 All In One Photo Printer.  I have Windows XP on it.

    I had to re - install the printer drives and software.  I can get the documents to print correctly.  I can get the printer to scan by using the controls on the printer.  However, if I try to scan from the Dell 964 all in one Center on the computer, I get an error message that says:

    Scan failed

    Try these solutions:

    * Make sure the all-in-one is powered.  (IT IS).

    * Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable.  (I DID.)

    * Disconnect, then reconnect the power cable from the all-in-one.  (I DID.)

    * Restart the computer. (I DID.)

    Nothing has worked.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    You should be able to scan from the Dell all-in-one Center.

    Make sure that the application that you want to scan to figure on the list. Try to read...

    If you are trying to scan to a PDF or by fax, you must install the OCR program from the disk of the printer.

    In the digitization, if you have the disc that came with the printer, and then insert the floppy disk to the printer and keep it from running. Go to my computer and double-click it. Locate the drive that contains the disk Dell inside. Right-click on it, left click Explore. Find the folder of the OCR. In the OCR folder, there is a folder of Abbyy. Right click on setup.exe, which is located in the folder Abbyy and left, click Run as administrator. This will install the OCR program.

  • Printer not scan with the recent upgrade of Mac.

    I upgraded my Mac OSX to 10.6.8 and now my HP PSC 1410 don't scan. I downloaded the Mac OSXupdcombo and the HPPrinterDriver2.16.1.dmg, installed and rebooted, but still does not work. Do I need to uninstall the printer? I don't want to lose the print capabilities in order to restore the scanner.

    I understand that you are unable to scan a document after upgrading your Mac computer. I will do my best to help you! Please follow these steps:

    Make sure that all the Apple updates are made on your computer. Please follow this document Apple here to help you. Then, try to repair disk permissions by following this document Apple here.

    Once you complete these steps, please try to scan a document. If you are unable to scan a document, then I would recommend uninstalling the software. Please follow this HP document uninstalling the software of the printer. (Remove the USB cable from the computer at this point.)

    Now, install the full features on the site of HP software here. Please post your results, I'll be looking forward to hear from you.

    I'm scanning with my printer mx922, but nothing happens. He says it's the treatment then it comes back to the main screen without doing anything. The scanner does not move. However, I can still print and copy as usual. I am running windows 10 and have the printer connected to my computer through USB cable.

    Uninstall and reinstall the driver should solve this problem. To do this, please follow these steps:

    1. turn the PIXMA MX922 in the CDROM drive CDROM. If the Welcome screen appears, leave it.

    2. click on start and then all the Apps.

    3. click on Windows System.

    4. click on RUN.

    5. click on Browse. In the browser window, click on the Local C: drive.

    6. double-click on the CANON_IJ CD-ROM drive.

    7. double-click on the folder named WIN.

    8. double-click on the folder named Driver.

    9. double-click on the folder named DrvSetup.

    10. double-click on the file named DELDRV. If you use the 64-bit version of Windows 10, please double-click on DELDRV64.

    11. in the run box, click OK, and follow the prompts on the screen to uninstall the MX922 PIXMA.

    12. Once your PIXMA MX922 has been uninstalled, restart the computer.

    Then, you can download the latest driver for your PIXMA MX922:

    1. visit the Web site at: http://usa.canon.com/support

    2. type PIXMA MX922 in the "Type a template name" box and click the Get button Drivers & Downloads.

    3. under Drivers & Downloads, click on drivers.

    4. click on the button select next to the series MX920 MP Drivers.

    5. If you agree, please select the check box next to "I read and agree to the terms of the disclaimer and wish to continue the download.

    6. click on the download button.

    7. If a box to record under appears, click Save.

    8. once the download is complete, open your download folder.

    9. double-click on [mp68-victory-mx920-1_00 - ejs.exe]. Will extract the files.

    10. Once this window disappears, connect the USB cable from the PIXMA MX922 to the computer.

    The installation is complete.

    Once back, try again to scan:

    1. click the Windows Start button, select all applications, point to utilities of Canon, my kindergarten picture and then click on my Image garden to open this program.

    2. click on Scan on the left side.

    3. click on driver in the upper part.

    4. when ScanGear appears, click on the Advanced Mode tab.

    5. click on Preview in the lower part.

    6. the necessary adjustments.

    7. click on scan.

  • Dell photo 966 printer not scanning or printing on Windows 8.

    My dell photo 966 printer was analysis no matter what since it installed on my new windows 8 PC. He scanned and printed fine on my old Windows XP PC.

    The printer prints only half of the image I want to print also.

    This problem may occur if the printer driver is not compatible with the computer of Windows 8. See the Compatibility Center for more information.

    To use Dell 966 all in one Photo printer on Windows 8, you need to install the Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode.

    Have a Photosmart 3310 all-in-one printer. Try to scan and get an error message - errorxf13a0012 439:jm_copy_se_ifc.c.

    Critical update. Cannot find image files or a document scanned once the scan is complete. I am then told to download, CP_scan_destination_u... e_hpcom_001_003 (1) exe. Then, I get the message: extraction failed - file is corrupt

    When you get an error like this - 0xf13a0012 - it's a firmware or hardware problem, time for a new printer, I think.

  • Printer not scan on the new computer with Windows 7

    I've recently upgraded to a new computer that has Windows 7 (hp elitebook 8470p). I installed the all-in-one printer to work via a wireless router - the printer is an Officejet 7210. Everything works well except for the scanner. I get an error message saying that the selected scanner is not found (trying to analyse my Adobe Acrobat software). When I open the hp Solution Center, it says my device is not over and I have to insert the CD. However, I downloaded the driver of Windows 7 over the internet, so there is no CD.

    Any advice?

    Have you tried to uninstall the software from the printer via the Windows Control Panel, then reinstall it again? If you have, I would say that it looks like the installation of the software is maybe damaged. I recommend "rubbing" the software current and 'nine '; To do this, follow the instructions below:

    1. click the Start button and type %temp% enforcement

    2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    5. run the L3uninstall.bat

    6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

    7. perform cleaning disc of accessories-system tools

    8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  • V525w printer not scan with Windows 8.1

    To set up a new Inspiron 17 (5000 series) running Windows 8.1 (64-bit) and it has detected my printer all-in-one of V525w (via USB) and it prints well, but it won't scan. Dell printer host tells me to install drivers to scan to.  I have installed all drivers for this printer several times and I still get the same result - I can't scan.  Someone at - it link to install only the driver for scanning or know how I can fix this?  Thank you!

    Solved!  Don't know how this happens, but after I installed the driver package, a Scan icon appeared in my apps list that works.  So, I can't scan by opening printer Dell or by clicking home on via Control Panel of devices & printers, but I can scan successfully opening the scanning application.

    If win7 has been relocated to the new drive, you must re-insall all origonal media programs.

    Also, you need to install the full features of your site from manufacturers of printer software, or provided cd, as appropriate to the instructions. You don't just plug the printer.

    If this printer is not supported under win7 then he will exploit the Basic windows update drivers, who usually give the same functionality as the software of printer manufacturers.

    I've been scanning off this thing years and now all of a sudden, I get an error saying I need to reinstall the program. This site is so confusing that I can't find the download that I need if this is the real problem. Any advise?

    How is it connected?  If, on a network, tell me about your network - router brand/model, encryption type (WEP, WPA, etc.) and ISP type (DSL, cable, etc.).
