Printer print erratic

I have a HP C6380 printer all in one that is having problems. Printing became low on a black background so I got a new black photo cartridge. It would print, but it seemed to run out of black as the photos looked slightly swathes. The "current offer ink levels' showed all full. I replaced the black picture with another new cartridge and once again he would be feeling very well once and purplish all the next.  Today I tried to print a delivery eBay and everything would print was "Paypal delivery" at the top and nothing else. I tried a couple of times with the same results but it printed very well yesterday. I printed the shipping label, and it was faded like ink was running out. I can't locate my printer manual, the only one of my old printer - photosmart 7350. I just keep the quick guide to my printer, but of course not in case of a problem with printing in it. I tried unplugging the printer and tried again but the omes photo outside as the special effects. I see red, green, blue, but it still looks like black is missing. You print heads clean or what? Any suggestions?

I did everything above, but it did not help. Then I read another post suggested that I check the duct of the ink, I have no idea existed. And low and this is the part of the orange band had not peeled off completely so I removed it and voila! He started printing very well. How to clean the print heads has been good information too. I run a Mac that is a little different, but I thought about it. Now I know how. Great help here! Thank you

  • Erratic printer

I have a Photosmart C309a printer.  My computer is a HP pavilion with Windows 7 installed.  The printer connection is through a USB cable.  The printer has always been irregular, I never know whan I select an action, if it will perfom this action or someother.

For example, at some point the printer would not print envelopes.  He would select the papter photo tray and print on it if any paper was present.  If I tried to print a document that contains a pager number it would print all pages, but in a confused page order.  If printing on both sides, it would be difficult, if not impossible to put the pages in good condition.  After many phone calls to HP, I was sent a new driver and a driver for a 990 prnter.  After using this for awhile just erased, that restarted the trouble with envelopes.  Nothing has been done, and after several months, the printer started printing envelopes as it should and there is no more problems.  It's the same thing with the printing of pages in the proper order.

In the past it always printed excellent photos.

Now the printer does not print photos. He did not print photos properly when I used the driver 309, so I tried the 990 pilot and got a great picture.   A few days ago I tried to print a photo using the 990 driver and the results were cracckong as it had been with the pilot 309.  So, I tried the 309 a pilot and received the same terrible print.  The colors are all screwed up.

I just ran the diagnostic test on the printer and all the results are perfect.  All the boxes of colors, lines and print are perfect.  The image of the vase in the upper right corner could not be improved.  When I ran the exemplary action, the results were the same.  The copied image is a bit dulll, but the colors are perfect.  I was using Windows Live Photo Gallery program.

I have run the verification of updates and results, said that everything is up to date.

What needs to be done to make this printer print pictures again?

    Hi hbentzinger,

It seems that there is a material or unwanted ink with the printer. • F4400 erratic printing

F4400 with XP. every third line of the text fell. It happens with word, wordpad and the detailed test form. (impressions after having held power + X keys) in addition, certain text colors do not print, but bars on the detailed test printed in color sheets. What cartridges or something else? Thank you

Black being 'bad quality' does not indicate much of the detail.  Can you analyze and view the test page?  I think it's a question that can be resolved by the contacts of the cartridge cleaning or replacement of the cartridge, but it is difficult to diagnose without more of an idea of what looks like the focus of the test.   The black print head swath is up to three lines of 10pt printed text.  If some of the electrical connections are intermittent or not connecting the lower part of the head print not print, causing the missing lines, you see.  To check this test printing in "best" mode, the missing lines must then print.

BTW, I don't see indicate you that you have tried to clean the contacts of the cartridge as shown here (different cartridges, same principle).  If you haven't tried that yet there is a likely difficulty.

    Multipoint unresolved printing problem:

HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 had printed out successfully all the three above mentioned computers since the purchase of the 04/04/2015. End of August 2016 he started intermittently refusing to print wireless, sometimes do not connect wireless or holder from job to job.

09/06/16 I posted the question on the Forum of community HP between 07/09/16 and 08/09/16 had dialogue on possible solutions. I followed the Commission received and interpreted it following recommended tasks - all without result:

    (1) sequential power off and cord power to the router Range Extender, OfficeJet 8610 Pro and iMac and removal after 60 seconds of powering the devices in the same order. Result: would not print.

    (2) off wireless to iMac. IMac connected to a printer via an Ethernet cable. Printer would not print.

    (3) tried to scan the printer for iMac's wireless: would not scan.

    (4) tried Scan via an Ethernet cable from the printer to iMac: Scan worked.

    (5) connecting iMac via an Ethernet cable to the router and printing system reset iMac to remove the printer and then added printer as directed by its name: HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 [455491]. The results have been mixed:

    (a) wireless to iMac to the router and Ethernet cable router for printer: test page printed.

    (b) the iMac to the router and wireless router for printer: test page will not print.

08/09/16, having nothing specified by HP Community Forum, I contacted AT & T, the provider of my router and all my services (wireless, broadband, Internet, fixed phone) for the Support service.

    AT & T: recommended

    (1) make a new Setup wireless printing HP itself using my secure wireless network name and password, and then perform a reboot of the router. Between the two actions (new set-up and router reboot), the printer starts and print a previously submitted test page. To confirm that the printer was actually working, I turned off the printer, waited, he turned back and tried to print Test page: the page not print.

    (2) AT & T then told me to do a new manual of the printer setting. Just as I got Set Up on the screen of the printer, the printer prints the Test Page.

AT & T told me that the printer should work fine now.

Once I have shut down my system and restarted the 09/09/16, I found that I could not print anyway:

Wireless to the router for printer

Wireless to the router and Ethernet cable for printer

Ethernet cable to the router and wireless to a printer

    Ethernet cable for printer

Another experiment on 11/09/16 led to erratic printing depends on the original machine:

1 iMac for HP printer: wireless printer for iMac gives not the Page of Test sent for printing, but a series of blank pages, followed by several pages of code and followed by more white pages. Code pages are all the same and then talking about the Cambria police (body).

    a. the first pages all State: %! PS-Adobe-3, 0% APL_DCS_Encodiong: UFT8% APLProducer: (Version 10.11.6 (Build 15 1)

    b. human beings second page with: 14 start/FontName dict / TJOLUV+ def Cambria

Page 2 on three subsequent print reading attempts the same as above, except for a different set of letters before "+ Cambria". A UAXKPA, a JJCFBS, and the third is WOKHHG.

    2. yet, when I tried to print the Test Page of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro wireless, printing is successful (i.e., the test page prints and do not print pages blank and coded.

I'm sorely need a remedy to this overall situation.

    Hello

When I type the 2nd line, incorrect filename rises, I tried 3 times

    Do this way:

    1. open a command prompt window and type

    net stop spooler

    2. leave the open command prompt window, open a window of Windows Explorer (File Manager)

    3. in the address bar of Windows Explorer window, enter

    %windir%\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\PRINTERS

    Click the GO arrow

3A. If the directions in step 3 do not work for you, go to your Windows folder, then in the system32 folder, then in the folder of spool and finally in the PRINTERS folder.

    4. delete all the files in the PRINTERS folder (it may or may not be files in this folder)

    5. return to the command prompt window and type

    net start spooler

    6. close the prompt of commands with Windows Explorer and continue with uninstallation/reinstallation instructions.

  • OfficeJet 6500 only prints the top of the page

Have a problem with getting my Officejet 6500 to print the entire page.  Top of the body impression seems to be running on the top of the page, as if the paper was not inserted enough away early in the cycle of printing.  Became "paper mismatch" error message briefly, but that does not appear now.  To check the installation of the printer for proper paper size (8.5 "x 11").  Was printing normally until recently.  Uninstalled and reinstalled HP web page software.  Any suggestions?

    Problem seems to be resolved!

The printing Assembly that fits into the back of the unit was not completely seated.  There is no warning generated unit that the Assembly was not in place, just erratic behavior and various messages like "out of paper" and jamming of paper.  I recommend that if you are having similar problems, that you check carefully that the back print Assembly is properly inserted into the machine.

  • Cannot start the HP printing software (HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A910a)

    Hello

When I double-click the icon of the HP software on my desktop behavior strange results. Nothing opens and my computer behaves erratically. After a while I get the following error messages:

    instancefinderdlg.exe

    werfault.exe

Then after that - my computer restarts so all by himself. But not a complete reboot - it just goes back to the initial logon screen and I get my password from Windows and displays the desktop.

I am running Windows Pro 8.1 (64-bit). The printer is set to work wireless.

After doubleclicking on the HP software icon and wait for the software to open, as I mentioned above, one thing I tried was a ctrl-alt-del and open Task Manager. I checked the services running, and there were multiple instances of a service life of HP (I not only remember the name but there seems to be dozens of the same HP service running).

I also completely uninstalled all HP software use Revo Uninstaller and then reinstalled the software / driver for the OfficeJet Pro 8500 A910a - but this package did not make a difference; exactly the same problem occurred again.

It happened only in recent days. Before that, I could double-click the HP software icon and open normally and I was able to check the settings, ink levels, etc. Interestingly, the printer seems to always work well - I can print in Word, print photos from Lightroom, etc. Just, I can't open my desktop HP printing software.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi jedasa,

I guess you can start to feel frustrated. I did some additional research and would like to try a few things. I want to delete the printer Assistant icon, open devices and printers, right-click on your printer and choose open. In the window that opens, please right-click on the Printer Wizard and click on create a shortcut. Now we can go to the desktop and see if it will be open from there. The icon will now by HP in a blue circle and say HP Printer Wizard below (see image below).  If it opens and works, we use this going forward, but if it does not continue with the steps below.

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key ( ) on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type %temp%
    2. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
    3. Unplug the USB cable (if connected), open programs and features, click Editor (all HP software will be together now) and uninstall all software associated with the printer. You fill find the basic driver, study for improvement of the product, HP Officejet 8500 help. Be sure to do not uninstall other HP software, especially if your computer is a HP computer. I generally use the date as a reference. Printing software would have all been installed on the same date.
    4. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
    5. Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
  • HP Laserjet 1020 will not be printed. Don't market not even register on the print queue. Don't test print page

My HP Laserjet 1020 is erratic for a few weeks now. Sometimes, sometimes not print. But before the print job would record at least and usually, but sometimes not print. I would like to move the cable to a different USB port & some time which would be worlk. Suddenly, it stopped printing altogether. I have uninstalled & reinstalled. Tried the doctor print tool (twice now) and now the print job does not record. I also replaced the cable with one of my other inkjet printer (which works fine) & which made no difference. The doctor says all printing tool's fine but when I try to print the test page it won't register as a print job in the queue. In my view, which covers it completely. As for having downloaded anything lately, I have download Teamviewer and Utorrent, but I'm sure it was faulty before you download those anyway. Hope someone can help me. Thank you

Oh... it worked fine for 6 or so years I've had. Bought new. Don't tell me the ink is low or anything like that.

Return to the Vista by default; problem now seems to be resolved. Thank you for your help.

  • Problem with bidirectional printing

    Hi all

I wasn't sure whether it should be validated at HP support or here. I've been through a lot of forums of HP and finally decided that he should go here. The scenario is as follows: -.

We have a PC connected on the network and a terminal of sharing a common - HP Laserjet 1020 - printer using a stand-alone USB two-way switch. There are two controls in what should be activated/deactivated according to which should be used for printing. Its a weird Setup, but that's how it goes. Last week, I was called to control print settings. After some tests, I realized that this is how it works. The switching to the two terminals USB drives and printing subsequently went smooth.

Today, I called again and they told me that the impression went erratic again. Stand-alone printing works perfectly while the terminal network has no idea what it sends to the printer. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer in the network terminal driver, but that didn't help. Sometimes, it is said that there is no such printer. Refreshing now shows the printer there himself. But the print queue is empty. I tried to connect this Terminal to the channel 1 (where the autonomous communicates to the switch) to see if the problem is with the 2 Port, but that did not help at all. I tried services spooler to stop and re-start, who went also to no avail.

What would be the problem here? Please notify.

    Thank you

    Vipin

You can connect the printer directly to the computer where you want to configure. If the computer detects the printer, you can go ahead and install the driver. If the driver is correctly installed, restart the computer, and connect the printer to the bidirectional USB hub. If it is still not printing we suggest to contact your manufacturer.

Keep us in the loop for updates.

    Thank you.

  • SCCM can remove print from a deployed PC drivers?

I may be in the wrong community.  If so, please point me in the right direction.

We have about 400 printers installed on the 2012 R2 server.  We are implementing a new solution Windows print due to erratic behaviour of our 2008 R2 cluster.

We have created a development zone of a node that is in place for now.

When we went from the cluster to a stand-alone solution, we had about 150 pilots who became corrupt and not print driver by hand until we have performed a number of measures to remove the package of pilot "broken" and to replace the pilot of the same type from our store.

    1. Select printer hit, go to the driver store local to note the location of the printer driver files

    2, remove the existing printer

    3. stop the spooler

    4 remove the driver files

    5 restart the print spooler

    6. run GPUPDATE/force to reapply the printer with a working driver.

Before that we live with our new solution we remove driver and the package using SCCM, possibly hoping to spare me the same situation.

Our current deployment method of security groups (membership) and separate group policy objects to push the printer that is attributed to the good Windows 7 32 bit OS Horn.

    Any ideas?

  • Response printer speed

New PC with Windows 7 recognizes and installs my old Canon BJC 80 printer using a USB cable to parallel printer. Prints test page and documents OK but with a delay of several minutes between hittin 'Print' and out a page. Have a lot of cartridges so don't want to retire from the little girl still. Ideas please

    Hi rwil1,

    Thank you for your message.

I did some research on this issue.

    What I see:

    • the printer is not compatible with Windows 7 (or Vista or XP)
    • Cannon said that using the printer with a parallel to USB dongle is not supported
    • you use the driver a another model appears to erratic works

We will probably not be able to do much more here, as the life cycle of devices puts end with XP and the end of parallel ports.

Honestly, I'm surprised that it works at all.

You can try looking for a parallel port card, if it is a desktop computer. Be aware of the compatibility of the cards, or you can be in the same boat.

If it is a laptop, I suppose this isn't a parallel port.

I saw that there was talk of an IR port, located somewhere on the printer (as there is in most laptops), but I don't know more than that.

    I hope this helps.
