  • want to 5530: printing from a memory card

Still learning my new 5530 wanted.

Now, I would like to know how to print from a memory card.

I'm a little confused about how to insert the card.  Yes, I looked on the HP site, with illustrations, how to do this.

I see that this map will turn.  Cards have printing on one side and points of contact brilliant (?) on the other.   I can't say which way to insert illustration.

When I insert the card, will be the impression show on my left and connected to the right contact points?  I suppose that the end with the contact points would be first inserted in the printer.

Again, hope this question makes sense to you.   I am an old-challenged person technically, but I'm trying so hard to learn.  My fear is that if I insert the card the wrong way, he would be stuck in the printer - so what to do?  Thank you!

    Hello

You must insert the card with the impression should show right (the label should be directed to the input tray and bright contacts must point to the left, indeed the side with the contacts must be inserted first into the printer.

You can view the following video, even if it is taken from another model that the card must be inserted exactly as shown:

  • How can I configure the hp solutions to remove photos from an SD card after transfer or my printer?

I use the SD card reader on my C410a all-in-one printer to download my pictures to my computer.  Transfer using HP Solutions.  Where can I set up to have my photos deleted from the SD card once the transfer is complete.  I checked every where I can think without finding any help.

    Thank you

    Hello

How can you PUT pictures on the map? You can remove photos in the SAME way. It is from a camera? If Yes, you can use your camera (even ANY camera that supports SD cards) for formatting (Besides, it is highly recommended to format the card on cameras after a few cycles). Alternatively, you can spend $ 10 to buy a USB card reader to use on your computer:

    http://www.eBay.com.au/BHP/USB-card-reader

I actually bought 10 of Best Buys another day for $3 each. They are more expensive in Australia.

    Kind regards.

  • OJ6480 am not able to import photos from the memory card inserted in the printer to laptop?

I can't import pictures from my memory inserted in my OJ6480 card.  I am connected with USB and nothing appears automatically after you insert card.  Also, I used the menu photo option and he doesn't want me to import.  Help, please!  Thank you.

    Hi cafahr,

I understand you are trying to print photos from a memory card.

I find the user manual for Officejet 6480 and found the following.

After taking pictures with your digital camera, you can print them immediately or save them on your computer. To save the pictures on your computer, remove the memory card from your digital camera and insert it into the slot for card memory on the device.

    To save your photos

NOTE: Use these instructions only when you use a network connection. If you are using a USB connection, then a dialog box appears automatically on the computer when you insert the memory card into the device.

    1. Insert a memory card into the suitable location on the device.
    2. press on the picture Menu.
    3. press the arrow keys and select Photo transfer and then press OK.
    4. press the arrow keys, and then select Yes.
    5. press the arrow keys and select transfer to computer, and then select the name
    of your computer.
6 follow the prompts on the screen on your computer to save the photos to your
    computer.

From what you described, the question is simple, the dialog box does not appear on the computer. What happens if you start it > computer or workstation? Do you see something here that looks like it could be the card into the printer?

Try to leave the printer and unplug the power cable (with the inserted memory card), leave the printer unplugged for about a minute and then plug it back. I want to see if this will push the communication to the computer.

Have you used this memory card in the printer before successfully? I ask because the problem may be the memory card or the memory card reader in the printer. Take a look at this link, memory card troubleshooting.

I hope it's useful. If the problem persists, please return with answers to the questions I asked, I'll gladly do some additional research and return with possible solutions. Please also let me know if you use a Mac or a WIndows OS.

  • Direct print from laptop computer connection

I have a laptop HP with windows 7 32 bit and the designjet 650 c B model with an installed direct jet card, so I a usb converter cable network I want to print from a usb port or from the port of network cable. I just want to know what is called the port that I use? Help, please!

You have a wireless router?  I have a Designjet 650 c connected to my router with a LAN cable, can I access the 650 c of my HP laptop wireless via the router.

If you follow this path, you will get an IP address for the Designjet 650 c by selecting Prev in the menu until you get to the entrance, the top menu can go down three times for installing I/O, entry, entry (modular), entrance (network Cfg = >), down Yes, Prev, Prev, Prev, entrance, entry, down arrow twice for utilities Entry, arrow down twice for Config plot, Enter.

That you select the jetdirect card like I/O device, get an IP address from the router and then print a configuration page that displays the IP address to halfway to the bottom of the page.

On laptop computer click Start, devices and printers, do a right-click on the Designjet 650 c, printer, port properties, add a Port, Port TCP/IP Standard, new Port, following, then enter the IP config page printed.  For me, it comes to 192.168.1.13.  Enter the appropriate value, Next, Finish.

If you do not have a router then consider making an inexpensive wireless router that could be wired to the Designjet and wireless for the laptop.  It would probably be a much better solution than to try to make a converter USB - lan.

    Hello

I understand you want to transfer your photo from your memory card on your computer using the printer, but at the moment, you are not able to.

Here is an overview of the steps required to make this work:

    Map the network drive

    (1) turn on the product and make sure that it is connected to the network.

    (2) Insert the memory card into the slot of the player card on the product.

    (3) find the host name (network name) from the network configuration page.

    "Printing a Network Setup Page"

    (4) on the Windows taskbar, click the Start button, right-click computer, and then click on map network drive.

    A network drive opens.

    (1) in the drop-down list player, select an available drive letter.

    (2) find the hostname from the network configuration page. In the folder field, type (without the brackets):

\\(The Host Name You found previously in Step 3) \Memory_Card

NOTE: Do not use the Browse button, or mapping may fail.

    (3) check box to reconnect to the opening if it is not checked.

    4) click Finish.

Now, the network drive is mapped.

Access the files on the memory card

    (1) the product must be on and connected to the network to access the files on the memory card.

    (2) on the Windows taskbar, click the Start button, and then click computer.

    3) double-click the letter and host name of the reader on the printer.

The images and the folders of the memory card will appear.

Please let me know if it works for you, thank you.

  • Looking for a compatible printer AirPrint for use in the field to print from my iPad 2. Possess and have v

Looking for a compatible printer AirPrint for use in the field to print from my iPad 2. Own and use very satisfactory wbt 460 HP with a laptop. All compatible printers AirPrint currently all-in-one and too big for travel or field use.

Whereas several HP printers are among the 15 AirPrints currently on the market, it seems reasonable that HP could provide the upgrade that would make my 460 AirPrint compatible wbt.

I wireless (my fi) and would like to buy the wireless card from the blue tooth, if only the upgrade of the driver was available.

How and when HP can provide a mobile/trip AirPrint printer?

Answer as I am a person of 70 years. Because I am and can be quickly way over my head!

For now, we don't have an Airprint-compatible printer. Future products may include, but are not currently. Products that are compatible Airprint are designed this way, so no upgrade will take place for previous models.

  • HP 5530 ENCE: Printing from computer means white border?

When I print with my SD card in my printer, photos print very well and without any boundaries, but when I go to print a picture on any kind of photo paper, it gives me an edge uneven white around all my photos. I wouldn't be too upset if the image is centered at, but it is not.

It is a problem for me because I edit my photos on photoshop and want to print those published, but the printer will never recognize the original raw directly photos from my camera and not those that I have edited on the SD card to print.

I searched the forums and most any sollutions say "your printer does not support printing without margins" which I just can't believe it, because not only does it print the borderlessly from the printer but the white border is uneven on each side of the image making it look sloppy and unprofessional.

TLDR; I want to print edge to edge on a piece of 4 x 6 photo paper, but the image always come his with white around it. Someone at - there a sollution? I have a HP Envy 5530.

    Thank you.

Which driver you have installed?  If you use the base driver built-in to Windows 10 only very basic print options will be provided as shown below:

For best results download the full recommended or HP basic driver here.  This will give you much better selection of the characteristics of the printer.  Make sure that your image aspect ration is the size of the paper; for example, if your media photo 4 "x 6", you will want to ensure that the odds ratio is 1.5 to 1 "
