WINDOWS VISTA BUSINESS AND PRINTING PROBLEMS WITH MY HP 840C DESKJET PRINTER.

RECENT APPEARANCE, PRINTER GOES THROUGH ALL THE MOTIONS TO PRINT, BUT A CLEAR SHEET COMES THROUGH.  I HVE CHECKED CONECTIONS HARDWARE, OK; CHEC'D SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY, OK; SMC WOULD HAVE WINDOWS VISTA ONLINE HELP SITES AND SUGGESTED AUDIT SOFTWARE IS USED.  LAURYS ALL OK.  THE MAJOR PRINTING PROBLEM IS WITH MY ONLINE BANKING WHEN I TRY TO PRINT STATEMENTS ETC. ON THIS SITE.  I HAVE CHD'D WITH THE APPROPRIATE SITE TECH PEOPLE AND THAT THEY HAVE NOT HELPED, SAME PROBLEM,...  WOULD APPRECIATE ANY SUGGESTIONS OR HELP WITH SIMILAR PRINTING PROBLEMS!  e > j > t

Say the HP support? Often with an HP printer, the solution the easiest is to unplug the printer, uninstall the HP printer via Add/Remove, runDisk cleaning software and restart. Then download/install latest drivers/software from HP and only connect the printer when the installation says.

Of course its possible allways the printer failed.

  • Access user (UAC) shield appears on a large number of my programs now after Windows Update download and cause problems with some programs, no one knows how to fix this? (Windows 7) (Windows Update post a coupe of weeks)

    Hello

Windows Update recently made a lot of downloads on my computer about two weeks ago (I run it automatically and it works usually weekly) and he has made some changes to my system that create errors or difficulties with certain programs. The shield of the UAC is now appearing on many more programs for some reason any and now I'm a guest whenever a program is available. which is also appear on my AntiVirus program. Action Center flag appears almost every day now with warnings saying that my AntiVirus program and spyware is off (not sure if this is related to the UAC shield), but when I check my AntiVirus program everything works and after access; the flag of the Action Center shows while all right. Nobody knows how to solve this problem and get rid of the ecu of the UAC on programs (or at least some of them I want to be invited on)? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I'm sure I've upgraded to Vista SP2, but not absolute, I can't find a lot of information in the case of the newspapers with the service pack level... only vista combined with some process is perceptible. I bought July ' 09 new and it came pre-installed with Vista on it. I think this is the tool I used to remove McAfee on this; It also came with Norton as an alternative option and both have been removed using their tools to uninstall BitDefender installation instructions walked me through the location and the removal of two of them before installing BitDefender on the computer. My user account is configured as an administrator, but when I right click on programs with the shield of the UAC on them, I'm not running as an administrator. The UAC slider is set at the 2nd ranked (by default); but I do not know how it was listed previous, I wondered about moving down one notch (but he advises not and I don't want to spoil anything).

  • How can I get a key product validation for Windows XP to the OEM of Vista Business downgrade, which came with my laptop?

I recently bought an Asus laptop that came with a genuine product key Vista Business OEM. I want to downgrade to XP and have installed a copy of XP OEM for this purpose I have found information on the internet indicating that I would be able to contact Microsoft, explain my desire to downgrade, to provide them with my Vista Business product key, and they would provide me a product key for XP, I could then use to activate the copy of XP I have installed.

However, it seems that it is more possible, because all the support activation is automated, and I was able to get a Microsoft service on the phone representative to activate my new installation of XP. How can I do to receive a product key for XP and activation of my installation?

    Thank you

    Scott

Thanks for the replies, you two! I called Asus, and they said that, since they do not recommend the downgrade, they do not downgrade disks provide, or provide for XP Pro license keys in case a user wants to downgrade. I told them about the rights of download, which I had heard before on the MS site support and they have always said they wouldn't / couldn't provide me with a license key, even if it was for OEM Windows XP distribution. Ah, well!

I don't think that Asus just "recommended" it or not!

    They must conform to Microsoft.

Even if I have the machine on the docking station when I disconnect the machine crashes.

    Hello

I don't know what you mean in crashes, but I know that this can happen after the standby/hibernation mode, that this sound card is not recognized correctly. To resolve this problem, you must install the hotfix for Microsoft Vista (937077 KB) on the Microsoft network site: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937077

Just a question: have you noticed this problem since the first day or after a few days of use?

  • Use of the filesystem in Windows Vista Business

I had a neX61 in November last with Windows Vista Business and 120 GB disk space. I installed MS Office Standard 2007 and Visio, the disk of 2 months following its use grew much greated than the volume of data that I have placed on the system. I ran all the checks planned and all is good - no problems.

However I could not always represent 35 + concerts. I downloaded a tool on the web that says basically structure sizes and directory trees and showed that I should have 35 gigs of spare, i.e. If I added the directory sizes, there was a huge amount still free. I couldn't get to the bottom of this.

One day, Outlook 2007 crashed and rebuilds itself, when it rebuilt, suddenly space reappeared. Afterwards, I ran all the diagnosis of MS Outlook with no significant results. During the next 6 weeks, which space recovery file again gone so now its 50Gigs I losyt. I decided to uninstall Outlook, but so far it has not recovered from my disk space. Before that I use a hard reinstall of Vista Business Windoze of stuff over there?

    See you soon

    Andy,

Right now, you have identified the exact problem, hell, I didn't even know this has the value automativcally of backup, the first 25Gigs swallowed the backup, then the next 4 subsequent in swallowed another 5 concerts a moment. Unfortunately, I had several images vmware which did not help matters.

Thanks man, I owe you a virtual beer.

    Hello

The easiest way is with a crossover cable - a special wire to connect the two systems.
You can get one at your local computer store - they are not expensive.

Also check with the site of the manufacturer of your router, because they will have in-depth details on how to
    set up the network.
