Problem installing Hp solution center on win 8.1

Hello support team,

I'm updating my OS to win 8.1

I have uninstaaled all the stuff of HP and donnladed OJ_AIO_6500_E709_Full_Win_WW_140_408.exe of your site.

When I try to install it again after extraction of the file reaches 100% installation program ends

I would like to say that the computer recognizes the printer by adding the feature.

But I can't use the scanner

Hi Sandu,
If please try following the steps below and check if it solves the problem:

1 open the Mcafee Virus and Spyware Protection software you are interested in, click on calendar and perform analyses. Click analysis in real time, and then click stop. Select until I restart the PC and confirm by clicking the button turn off.
2. open the dialog box run by clicking on the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir%, and then click OK.
3. type hpoins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)
4. type hpwins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpwins1.old)
5. start the Run dialog box by clicking the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /Unregister. in the Run dialog box and click OK.
6. launch the Run dialog box by clicking the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC/REGSERVER in the Run dialog box and click OK.
7. run the installation file and check all difference.

Please let me know if that may help the installation of the printer,
Shlomi

    Hi Dave49,

I'm sorry to hear that the final stages has not solved the problem. The next step would be to complete an uninstall of level 3. I've included the steps below for you.

    1. press the Windows key and the letter R
    2. tap folder
    3. press enter or click OK
    4. open the file 7z
    5 open the util folder
6 open the folder of the ccc
    7. double-click on the Uninstall_L3

Once the uninstall is complete, you will need to empty the temp folder. To do this simply follow the steps,
    1. press the Windows key and the letter R
    2. tap folder
    3. press enter or click OK
Once you are in the temp folder, you can remove all entries listed. Note that not all entries will be deleted, because some programs are open. For these entries, you can click on ignore. Next, you need to empty the trash. After the Recycle Bin has been emptied, you will have to perform a clean boot. I've included the document "How to perform a boot in Windows". If your computer does not request it, restart your computer.

Once restart is completed, you will need to download and install the software again. I have included a link to the ' all-in-one HP Photosmart C6300/6324 Printer series full feature software and driver '.

Please let me know if you are successfully able to install all software.

  • Cannot install the Solution Center in Windows 7 for HP7310

I have a HP7310xi AIO that works very well until recently.  I've recently updated Win/XP to Win 7 32 bit and the printer software will not be installed correctly.  I downloaded and tried all the diagnostic tools that I can find on this site, nothing helps.  I can print but cannot scan due to lack of Solution Center software.  I want this to be a device connected to the network and part works very well with the printer, but I repeat, it will be no scanner - is network or USB accessory.

I downloaded (several times) the file of the AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141 software, which is supposed to install the necessary software, but IS NOT INSTALL the Solution Center.  I tried HPPIW for installation and also HPHNDU and HPPDU for the diagnosis of the printer, and who work very well.  I also tried HPPSdr (who works for the printer, but not scan) and HPSDU, which does not at all.

I still have my original installation CD and I tried, but of course it does not work with Win 7.  I also tried to uninstall the entire software package and then try to re - install, also without success.  It seems that the uninstall process is incomplete, or at least that's my guess.  I tried running also uninstall batch since the original installation CD files (the files to \util\CCC\Uninstall, Uninstall_L1, etc.) and they seem to work, but still the re - install subsequent does not install Solution Center.

I recently ordered the customers a new installation CD, expecting a full installation CD for Windows 7 and receive.  The label of the CD says it's for "HP Officejet 6300, 7200, 7300 all-in-One-series", and also that it is "Version 13.1.0" and "Windows 7" and "Multiple languages"  It is the number of piece CB744-10003 and seems to be exactly what I need.  HOWEVER... This is ACTUALLY ON THE CD!

Usefully, the label gives the following instructions:

Insert the CD in your CDROM drive

    All Windows operating systems:

    (a) click on 'Start' in the task bar, then click on 'run '.

b} type d:\Setup and click OK (where "d" is your CD drive letter"

This is exactly what I expected to see on an installation CD; BUT there is NO "SETUP" FROM THE CD FILE!

The content of the CD is exactly TWO FILES:

    AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141.exe, and

    AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141.MD5

The first file is the same as I've downloaded several times on your website and many, tried several times to install.

THIS CD DOES NOT CONTAIN WHAT THE LABEL SAYS WHAT IT SHOULD CONTAIN.

I spent a lot of time on the phone with 'Technical Support' (telephone number 1-800-474-6836) and just got a huge evasive.  The best suggestion they could offer was that I should 'upgrade' my printer!  I know the printer is old, and I know that the printer itself is not supported.  However, I expect better than that of a software package that is supposed to take care this device on Windows 7 AIO.

If I can't get this resolved successfully, I'll upgrade my AIO - but it WILL NOT BE ONE OTHER DEVICE HP!

Hmm...  I have an Officejet 7410 similar, I used the same configuration file to install and have used it for a few years on my Windows 7 system.  A few questions:

You have the printer connected by USB or network?

You said that you had upgraded to Windows XP.  Was this a clean install on the XP machine?

Are there any error messages during installation?

There are a few things to try: If the printer is connected with USB, unplug it before you continue.  Navigate to the folder folder (open the Explorer and folder type in the address bar), look for a directory starting with 7z and a date corresponding to when you tried to install the printer.  Go to the util/ccc directory in the 7z... directory and run uninstall_L3, uninstall_L2, and uninstall_L1 files.  (This is the program of uninstalling the version of Windows 7, it might be more effective than the XP uninstall program).  After you run each file three batch restart the computer and log in as a user with administrator privileges.  At this point, run the Setup program.

    Hey @brommmmm,

One thing we know for sure is that your computer and the printer doesn't seem to like. I think that there are problems with your registry that are causing all these different errors, especially since the error log for the program installation continues to point to the registry key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Hewlett-Packard\Install\ {BCDD692B-17 2D-440-9A1B-501C71D72CC8} for permissions problems. I have a little more suggestions to solve these problems in System.

Step 1: Uninstall your printer software and drivers

Step 2: Run the CCleaner on your computer to fix registry issues:

    CCleaner

Step 3: Unlock hidden Admin account:

    1. Open the display Start again by clicking the Windows start at the bottom of your computer screen icon or by selecting the Windows button in the bottom left of your keyboard to the right of the Ctrl key.
    2. Once the splash screen opens, type command prompt
    3. Once the result of the search for the command prompt appears, do a right click on it and "run as administrator"
    4. Once the command prompt opens type: net user administrator / Active: Yes and press ENTER.
    5. Then, restart your computer
    6. When your computer turns back on, you should be able to log in to the new administrator account that appears. This account will not have a password on it.
    7. If your computer will automatically connect to your normal spending users user account and log on to the administrator account.

    Step 4: Install printer:

    1. Once you are logged into the new account administrator download and run the installation of your printer: HP Deskjet F2400 all-in-One series Full Feature Software and Driver
    2. Start the installation of your printer.
    3. Once the printer installs successfully log on the administrator account and log in to your normal user account. The printer should now be installed on your normal user account.

Step 5: Disable the hidden Admin account:

    4. Once the command prompt opens type: net user administrator / active: No. and press ENTER.
    5. Then, restart your computer

Please respond and let me know if everything works now. Fingers crossed!

  • Ultimately it is there no response why C7280 cannot re - install with Solution Center.

    HP C7280 all-in-one wireless printer

The first time, the first time I installed the new wireless C7280 on this machine in 2006 was a bear. Apparently after hours with tech support they said it was because a Lexmark printer was also installed. I knew that you might not ever have 2 printers installed at the same time?  Finally, we got to work.  There is, then, no. I tried to uninstall and reinstall. TI said it is already there (it is a registry entry falsely saying so?) or it is impossible to find all wireless printers.

On advice, I went to install the printer and manually found my router and it has now got this infor on board. Now, I can print with any program that prints. However all the functionality of Solution Center is lost because when it is in this part of the installation, it hangs. So I have disabled all background programs... it still doesn't work.  Apparently, I can't get this completely off the HD HP and then he wants to think there are already present HP.

The only recourse that I can see is to make a full recovery with discs!  Then install it.  Do you know what that means?  All the paks services, all updates for the past 6 years!  Formidable!  I wonder still find the paks of Service and updates for XP?

I can't understand how somone has not met with a cure for this. I tried all the suggestions that I know.  But the bottom line, there must be no answer how to get this feature full working C7280 all once again. It's a pain since the beginning. Now in regards to the printer, I have no complaints, he worked 6 years no problem, but the associated softeware was very disappointing... very!   jack (I'm open to everything you can think of that I have not tried.

I tried to write my signature in this area on the screen, but it doesn't seem to work? : v lol

I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties, but I'll do what I can to solve. First of all, just to put in place a good base to work line, allows to perform a full and clean uninstallation and reinstallation.

First of all, if you use a USB cable, be sure to remove it. Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. As indicated, and then restart the computer.

The START menu type "%temp%" and press on ENTER. Here, I want you to press Ctrl+A and press on REMOVE. Some files you cannot delete them, ignore these files and delete the majority that allows it to.

Follow this link to download full feature software and drivers of the printer:

    Hello sgtdsb,

I read your post and thought I would offer help.

The HP Officejet 6500 a software more HP Solution Center will not install on Windows 7, it is now called HP Printer Wizard with the v28.8 software available for this printer.

The Printer Wizard will give you the same options such as scanning, maintenance tasks, print settings, etc. but with a many other State.

You can access the Printer Wizard two ways; First, double-click the icon on your desktop (should look like your printer). Then, click Start> all programs> HP> Officejet 6500 has more(folder) > Officejet 6500 has more(icon).

Once opened, the Printer Wizard should look like this:

I hope that this response has contributed to your post on the Solution Center

  • Cannot install HP Solution Center (Windows XP) software

I tried to install or uninstall the software "HP Solution Center" which is part of the FULL suite of packages included in the download of the software "OJP8500vA909_Full_14" for the printer HP Office Jet 8500 A909 (WIndows XP).  When I try to install the package I get the following error: the installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package.  This my indicate a problem with the package.  The error code is 2732.

I tried the washer HP (OJP8500vA909_Corporate_Scrubber_14) and the Microsoft utilities 'Fix it' completely 'UNINSTALL' and clean up the previous installation.  However, who has not corrected the problem.

Note: All other software (wireless installation/update / web / print drivers, etc.) included in OJP8500vA909_Full_14 successfully installed.  Someone has suggestions on how to solve this problem of 'uninstall/install' I have with Windows installation package "SolutionCenter"?

The only other thing I would suggest is uninstalled and your Flash Player reinastalling. Many of our software is Flash based and having a bad plug in for which could cause Solutions Center to fail. Other that that, I agree with you that there is something systemic in your computer that causes the fatal error to occur.

Let me know and have a great day!

RnrMusicMan: (btw, former musician of Navy for this purpose) I need to send thanks a lot for your answer. I have tried, almost to the point of questioning my sanity, too many times tried too many things and all have failed. Why not go and buy a new printer? Financial considerations. Here's what I've worked with... (finally a good result there, at least the best I know for the moment at the end)

    (1) start here, I have an older HP all C720 printer wireless. I do not think at the moment there is a download of the full version which will allow him to install it in a machine of 8.1. An 8 machine if necessary, but not a 8.1 I do not...? That's what I gathered. Where I made my mistake, so, I was this old horse to battle C7280 installed on my newer HP Pavilion and worked very well with 8.1, (read on before thinking 8.1 work with the C7280) when I say great worked, I mean the Solution Center has worked. Then after a while I improved the Pavilion to 8.1 and everything was fine. A couple of weeks, I had to do a cover of the plant on the HP Pavilion. Instead of installing the software of the printer with the center of solutions right then while he was still an OS 8, I upgraded to 8.1 Loaded my favorite of all the programs and tweaks and tricks. Then I said, I'll install the old workhorse C7280. It would not, not at all, regardless of how many tips I read here, and Googling. Then I tried to install the full version of XP on one of the XP machines. No go. Something I said is prevention. Who could know. I tried to purge the XP what I knew could be related to HP. Shut off all antivirus programs, download fees, etc. etc. ad naseum. I have read and read and tried and failed and failed. You get the drama.

So, I decided that if I could get it on the Acer Aspire one Netbook I could use as a slave, small sorta Acer server. I barely use the netbook anyway. So I couldn't do. Frustration. So I decided JUST ONE MORE ATTEMPT. And here's what I did for Acer.

I did a factory restore. No former antivirus autour. Nothing is added. Presitine and already had Service Pack 3 with the resumption of the plant.  What follows I have none to little idea of his touch, but that's what I did.

    (2) I have an old modem that I had used as a slave of my new modem D-Link. I got it, because many of my devices will not work on the new 'n'.  I think, old modem old printer, old BONES. I have set the printer to get the old o SSID of the slave and agreed which has no password. Fortunately, I know anyone personally that could use this wireless slave and they all have their own.

    (3) so once again, I downloaded the full version of XP on the netbook. Extracted, he ran, and so he went the full installation and works.

That's a lot, but I'm a cheap guy who hates to throw even if old devices, good. I use this Chrome extension called Extension Office remotely in order to get on the netbook from any computer and print using the Solution Center.

I don't know what I did but I know I've worked. So this is my solution. I'm sure some could find another work around, but probably way above my paygrade.

Once again, thanks a lot for taking the time. I think I followed your solution several, much too long and did not work. Unless I was always doing something wrong.  My solution was radical but it works for me always try to use these appliances. I just take good care of them and they last. My most recent is the HP Pavilion and it's going on 2 years now.

Differences or questions please ask. 'Jack :-{D '.

  • Cannot install Lenovo Solution center 3.2

I have a W520 I've updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Lenovo Solution Center gave some error messages about missing items, Solution Center 3.2 installer so downloaded. When I try to run the installer, it is said "the operating system is not enough to operate the Lenovo Solution Center". I uninstalled the 2.8 version to see if that was the problem, but got the same error message. I just reinstalled version 2.8 without any problems.

Thanks, Aryeh, the 64-bit version worked. It is different from what is supposed to be the 64-bit http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds104501 version which is lscsetup_x64_32004.exe. On this page even though it says at top it is for 64 bit Windows 10, lower he says that the operating system that is supported is windows 10 32 - bit, so something mГЄlГ.

  • HP solution center v13 Win 7 Setup error

    Hello

I have a Deskjet d2360 and I lost the installation CD. I tried to install the driver from the hp site v13 for my windows 7 but I can't install it, almost at the end, it gives an error! I tried several times...

Someone can give me a link to a v12 of older HP solution Center (or more) for windows 7 so I can try to install?

    Thank you.

WOW! After MANY trials MANY MANY, I managed to install the SOLUTIONS CENTRE successfully!

    Here's what I did:

I ran the unsintaller of level 4.

I noticed in the Windows event log (Event Viewer on Type 'Run... ("and goto Windwos Logs-> Applications) an Installer error: could not access network location % APPDATA%\?  and I added the variable %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto like this: http://forums.techguy.org/7785747-post35.html

Then I started regedit.exe and deleted all traces of printer HP. I used to find them and sought a "HP\'"\HP"and most importantly"Hewlett-Packard"and deleted the keys (and parent keyes) if they were related to the printer.

Then I installed normally, and it worked. After 3 days of trying I finally managed to install the software... beautiful HP programming.

Well, I finally solved the problem of installation by reviewing the Setup log file in my ~ temp directory.  It turns out that at some point, I've cleaned too many hp related files in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Hp\Common, i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Hp\Common\AclmControl.exe.  I managed to copy a bunch of files of my virtualbox windows 10 install on my local machine and I got the HP Support Assistant to install!
