ProBook 6570b: 10 Windows not recognizing display

Tried to upgrade to Windows 10 after having received assurances from the MS and HP as my phone is compatible at 100% and I tells me that the screen is not compatible.  Not sure why there is NO mention of this question anywhere?  Maybe I should come back to buy Lenovo as they have decent driver/support?

Check the Device Manager.

Note: You should do this only if you are sure you have a complete and up-to-date antivirus program installed on your computer and that real-time scanning, which checks every file before it opened or used, is turned on.

    Method 1:

    a. open Action Center by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, and then, under system and security, clicking on the status of your computer.

    (b) in the left pane, click on the change Action Center settings.

    c. disable the Virus protection check box, and then click OK.

The information you listed are oriented to the network card and he doesn't see any boot device.  The first thing I would do is to check the BIOS settings and make sure that your drive is seen correctly and that the boot order is set to boot from your 1st CD then your drive hard 2nd drive.  You will need to check with the PC manufacturer for assistance with the BIOS settings.

Then I would try the steps listed in this thread: XP without boot troubleshooting

If you are able to enter safe mode but not any other way or you can't in safe mode then I would do the following.

If you can boot into Safe Mode with command prompt, or if you have a XP CD and you can boot into the Recovery Console, and then run the following commands.

    Chkdsk /r

sfc/scannow (you will need an XP CD for this command)

  • Yoga Pro 2 - display not recognized in windows (hardware or driver problem?)

Out of warranty by a month!

Yoga Pro 2-256 gb, installed a new wireless card a month ago. Windows 8.1

The touchscreen still work while the screen is black.

System restarted after the mode 'sleep', in my opinion.

The Lenovo logo is displayed, seems to load Windows, but when windows loads (I don't see it so it is a hypothesis of load) drafts of the screen and the black light is on.

Can I connect an external monintor that connects after the return from sleep mode (odd). Who then off the backlight.

When the external monitor, the internal screen is not yet recognized by windows.

When I boot in safe mode, the internal display works fine with of course limited capabilities.

I rebooted on the support site display drivers.

Right now my internal monitor is not recognized by windows and is dark, and I can use an external monitor.

Someone at - he of the clues as to what my happen? Hardware, driver etc?

    Can what information I provide?

It is a pretty weird problem with contradictory observations.

    (1) screen working in Mode safe but not regular boot. (So not the hardware problem)

    (2) display on an external monitor in normal mode. (So, no drivers issue)

Have you installed the wireless card yourself? You unplug the cable from the screen during the installation of the card?

Could you re - open and check that all connections are good?

The Wi - Fi card works well?

I also recommend a complete reset of the laptop to eliminate the possibility that it is a corrupt driver. You can use the NOVO button to reset your laptop. Make sure you make a backup on an external drive for your personal files.

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from your description, I understand that the HP Probook 450 G1 does not detect the recovery DVDs. However, the other CDs/DVDs work fine and the recovery (at least detected) on another PC media.

I understand that you need to recover, but despite this, Windows starts correctly now? What is the problem you can get you to try to recover? In Winows, recovery disks are recognized?

To be honest, I don't know why it is not detected, but there are some things you can try:

-Boot in the BIOS and disable secure boot + turn on Legacy mode

    Details > > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03653226

-Try to boot from the media of recovery of the DVD (first is the one that is re. OS - I see, you should have 2 recovery DVDs - one for the OS, one for the drivers).

keep hitting the Esc key (such as tap-tap-tap).

This should open a HP Boot Menu. Choose F9 to open the boot options. Select the USB drive as boot option.

I would like to know if it works for you.
