• Is there a quality of Service setting my Airport Extreme?

  I want to maximize my wifi by adjusting the parameters of quality of Service (QoS).  My son has an ASUS router that allowed him to QoS to prioritize devices it uses.  He moved then, video and streaming as top priority.  Can I do the same type of setting priorities with my Airport Extreme?

  Sorry, but none of the Apple routers provides this useful type of setting.

• Quality of Service with WRT610N and Vonage

  I try to get the quality of Service, in collaboration with my WRT610N and my Vonage device.  The WRT is connected directly to a cable modem, and the Vonage device is connected to the Ethernet 1 port.  I have configured the MAC address of the Vonage on the QoS tab as 'High' priority (done by selecting the 'voice device' on the drop-down list category).  In addition, I put my Vonage options (on the my account page of the Vonage site) to use the higher throughput (90 kbps, I think).  Any other setting QoS have been made.

  However, the router seems not to be the QoS application at all.  If I do any kind of surfing at all (dragging around on Google maps to load new pages of satellite is a good test), the quality of voice over a call during Vonage is very choppy.  What I have to do something else to make sure that the Vonage device gets highest priority?

  Follow these connection parameter:

  Modem (DSL/Cable)-> VONAGE-> WRT610N

  Your Modem must be connected to your VONAGE and your VONAGE Ethernet, plug it into the Internet Port of you router LINKSYS. You also check the VONAGE internet connection by connecting your PC to your Ethernet VONAGE before connecting the WRT610N router.

  I did some research using Google, it is possible to use QoS to control bandwidth on wireless networks and wired.

  I use a router WRT54GS v1.1 that has this capability.

  I am wanting to control the bandwidth on my wireless so that my Ethernet (wired) becomes a priority of my internet connection.

  I activated the "Support WMM" option in the configuration of routers (Applications & Gaming).

  Exactly how does the QoS wireless? Need details of depth.

  Hi all, I got this working now. It was something to do with the following:

  Current firmware seems to have some bugs, but I will list those in another message

  -J' had to put the IP Address of the default router 192.168.1.1 that the definition of a caused different IP address wireless devices (laptop) does not connect to

  -Setting a different download speed that 'Auto' seems to cause the wireless devices do not connect

  Will post firmware problems in another post to alert anyone who needs to know in order to make the appropriate changes.

• Web Services issues in Coldfusion 8

  Hi all

  I'm trying to deploy .cfc files as web services in a coldfusion multiserver environment 8.  So far it works not so well.  Every time I have navigate to the .cfc file in a browser, the empty page .cgi scope and not documentation of the component.  If I add? WSDL to the URL, I get the code for the dumping of scope .cgi.   You also cannot manually register a web service in coldfusion administrator.  (the components that will be the web services are marked as access = "remote", these same .cfc files have been and are used in CF) 7.1

  Cfc in the CFIDE folder files use the cfcexplorer.cfc component and have the documentation of the component.

  Does anyone know of any issues with web services in CF 8 multi-server environment?  Why don't the .cfc and .cfc? WSDL dump the scope of cgi and show me the documentation of the element or the WSDL file?  Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere in order to allow web services?  Why can't study documentation of CFCs on a file in the root Web?

  Any help or idea would be greatly appreciated!

  There is nothing web service and multi host ColdFusion or ColdFusion 8 which must be radically different then standalone CF7 web services.

  Y at - there anychance there is an own Application.cfc file that may apply to the ColdFusion component files?  Note that any file in Application.cfc (or Application.cfm) between the SWC file and the root Directory apply to the code that runs the web service.  There is a witch hunt often neglected with some Application.cfc files that use the onRequest() method.  This method can interfere with normal delivery in response to a request from web service wsdl if this has not been posted to in the onRequest() method.

• OT - Customer Service issues

  Anyone know what is happening with the Adobe Customer Service? I called 3 times separated on 2 days, and I am put on indefinite hold. I held for 30 minutes for 2 calls and today for an hour before giving up. I even tried to call the sales and the same thing happens. I have been using 800-833-6687. I even tried another phone number that was listed on the support portal page only to discover that the number was no longer in use.
  
  In addition to this problem, they sent me an email telling me my web case has been updated, but there is no case of Web not listed and the file number in the email does not have the case number that I was given by customer service last week when I actually spoke to a person.
  
  In addition to this problem, the log in page does not recognize my Adobe ID
  
  Someone at - it another phone number that I can try? Maybe an official person of Adobe will respond to this message?

  I called their headquarters and talked to an operator. I told him about the problem to the customer service and explained the issue. She then transferred me to customer service management and I spoke to a supervisor who works on the original question.

• A6000 - anyone with a load of a6000, communication, customer service issue?

  My a6000 bought late in October 2015. There are a few bodies around and several batteries so the port micro-USB or cord used maybe 3 or 4 times. The kit was removed for the second time since my purchase when planning for a period of time. A small software update was in order. The unit would not connect to what anyone, nor make light for the load of come on.

  It was decided that I would contact the support of text that I couldn't use the phone. They were unable to process my application for a new cord of text / live chat. Am online somewhere else for telephone conversations with support to acquire a micro usb cable. My mind began to stir as if all goes well, we could imagine.

  During the convesation with telephone support I clearly state, that the question does not need to support the problem is isolated as I have several Sony products. Please, just send a micro USB cord the cord has been used only a few times and none no longer works. Then I heard, "which is not covered by the warranty." This is the case. (Laugh while wondering where a missing Sony since I bought my first Walkman) Everything in the kit is covered (the fact is in black and white) as time passes and then told me to prove when I bought the camera. My immediate exclamation has been that it has been made a month before I bought it (keep in mind this salesperson already knows my family name and that the product is registered and where it was purchased)

  As you have known it WAAS technology runs on the TCP proxy feature by masking the real customers of WAN environment. Thus, any packet loss (whether because the WAN congestion or because of DAVID) will be handful of WAAS TFO (using BIC and BAG) and will not gas real customers.

  Also optimized thanks to the WAAS TFO feature automatically traffic supports the ECN of DAVID function also.

  the problem lies in this line:

  payload.setPayload (xmlString);

  The payload is an object but JAXB is it collocation not properly. I found a way that can help you:

  It is not very clean, and I suggest you look at JAXB in order to find a solution for this scenario of type anyType. I couldn't find a better sample but other people suggest using "xs: all" instead Java / Oracle SOA blog: JAXB in JDeveloper 10 g and 11 g 2.0. Perhaps you could look into it

• Service issues wireless DRM

  I recently got a BeBook Neo that has WiFi and is able to download the live content.  The Neo is a renamed Onyx Boox 60 with BeBooks software and uses the Adobe Digital Editions software for DRM content.  I was able to plug it into my computer and use the ADE on my computer to transfer DRM EPUB and PDF files, but when I try to download books from ebook stores I get an error message that says:

• Service issues cell phone iPhone, update errors and activation problems.

  So I just returned from a stay in Germany yesterday. I got home and when I got my iPhone 5 s out, my iPhone would not connect to my carrier that is EE.   A difficult here. Ultimately, this looks like a problem of free Wi - Fi connection. Try restarting your router. Also coincidentally, you might have a Wi - Fi chip or the faulty antenna.

  Here's a tip for the user on the problems of Wi - Fi. Many of them does not apply in your situation but worth the drive just in case.

  (1) perform a forced reboot: hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Leave the device to reboot.

  (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

  (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth). Channels 1, 6 or 11 are recommended for 2.4 band.

  (4) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

  (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available. Also turn off all apps to VPN and retest the Wi - Fi.

  (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

  (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

  (8) backup and restore the device using iTunes. Try to restore as New first and test it. If ok try to restore the backup (the backup may be corrupted).

  No, these objects are only supported via WS v2.0.

  VA 2.0 API provide the same level of support as 1.0 (child objects, attachments, etc.)
