• Question of all-in-one and driver HP 8600

  I have a HP 8600 who is one year old.  I initially installed the drivers on a Windows 7 laptop and it was working fine.  Bought a laptop Windows 8, 64-bit and downloaded the updated drivers from the website, as well as the driver Wizard.  Pilots seem to download very well, and the wizard says that I have the right drivers for my printer.  BUT when I try to open the HP printing Center, what I get is HSPSolutionsPortal.hta and HPSPProgress.hta open in my Visual Studio program.  I don't know if it's a question of HP or VS.  Printer, scanner, copier all work very well since the Control Panel on the printer and the computer recognizes and stores a file from the parser when it is made.  However I need the selection feature of the settings of the scanner from the Print Center.  Hoping that you can help, or at least point me in the right direction.  Thank you!

• How can I uninstall the sidebar of all-in-one and completely disable "LyricSing"?

  The function of "all-in-one sidebar" offers redundant and confusing capacity that consumes valuable real estate display on my old (and small) monitor. The result is that it makes several important sites essentially unusable. Please help me get rid of it on Firefox 31,0 or allow the return to an older version of Firefox that does not include it.

  Similarly, "LyricSing" uses real estate display and also acts as a great popup generator. The path to "disable" and the "current status" switch does not work on my XP-based system.

  I strongly dislike (I'm being nice) IE and Chrome! Help, please!

  You can uninstall the extensions that are more, you need or want to use.

  • You can enable or disable the power bookmarks bar by ' view > sidebar > bookmarks ' or 'Ctrl + B' (command + B on Mac)
  • You can enable or disable the sidebar story power by "view > sidebar > History" or "Ctrl + H" (command-H on Mac)

  The current releases of Firefox have a button ' show lateral bars > "in the palette to customize this feature is also in the history of bookmarks and buttons drop-down list (the latter in the list '3-bar' from the Firefox menu button).

• Pro Tips: Troubleshooting scan to E-mail questions in e-all-in-one printers and ePrint

  Hello e-all-in-one printer users,.

  If you're reading this, chances are you have a problem of webservices in your HP e-all-in-one printer. If you can not scan to e-mail, use ePrint, or get a code application, this post is for you.

  Many of later vintage (2010 and beyond) Photosmart, ENVY and Officejet series e-all-in-one printers share the same Web services and Wireless features. Within these series printer, you can enable wireless and Web services (ePrint, scan to e-mail, printable sheets) connectivity of the façade do their installation for use with Android, Windows, iOS, Macand Chrome OS much simpler than the old printer models. Of course, when things go wrong or there is confusion about the use of the printer and features such as printing and scanning to e-mail stop working, the correction of these problems is the same in most of the models.

  WebServices are not connected: what affects?

  When the webservices connectivity is lost ePrint, scan to e-mailand pads features will stop working. If you are just getting started with the installation of your printer, the inability to generate a code application (to add your connected HP printer or sign in to Instant ink) can be attributed to not being able to afford Web services. If you are affected by any of these questions, read on. I have some suggestions that might help.

  Ordinary remedies

  • Before set you Web services, make sure that your printer is connected to a network, either via an ethernet cable or Wirelessconnection. Print a report of Network Configuration of your printer front panel (usually this is located under Tools / reports) to confirm an active ethernet connection.
  • If you are connected wireless, touch the wireless icon printer . If you see as connected and there is an IP addresses starting with 192.168... or, 10 grand. If this isn't the case, run the Wireless Setup Wizard to connect you with your network name (SSID) and enter the password wireless you are prompted.
  • Ensure that the date and time your printer settings are correct. You can check and adjust this via the front panel of the printer in most cases and trivia: the printer Web server integrated.
  • Now, with network connectivity guaranteed webservices icon or (depending on model) and try to activate Web services.
  • If you have managed to connect and a leaflet printed, or at the very least, an [email protected] address is displayed on the front panel of the printer, perfect, Web services are now functional. This means that you can now ask your HP printer connected , or use one of the above characteristics *.

  Note that ePrint and scan to e-mail feature are addressed later in this post if you still need help with these functions.

  • If the webservices are always not, try your printer restore default*.

  * Note that this step resets the setting up your printer wireless, address ePrint and other custom print settings. If you have created a custom @hpeprint.com address that it will be permanently deleted. For more information on custom addresses ePrint, click here.

  Here's how:

  • The printer's front panel, press the Setup/key icon and then tap tools
  • Select Restore to factory settings
  • Note this new printer may contain this setting under the heading maintenance of the printer instead of tools.

  Then, to reconnect to your network (wired or wireless) and try to set a manual DNS:

  Make a note of the IP address of the printer.  Then, follow these steps to configure a manual DNS:

  • Enter the IP address in a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer), and then press Enter to go directly to this page. This should take you to your built-in Web server (EWS) printer.
  • Click the network tab.
  • In the submenu on the left, click Networking.
  • Then click on the network (IP) address.
  • Click Manual DNS server.
  • DNS preferred as 8.8.8.8 manual entry
  • Auxiliary DNS server entry as 8.8.4.4
  • Click on apply to finalize this change.
  • Note that menu above EWS items can vary in overall models of printers. If you do not see the exact topics that I've listed here, the subtopic you should always appear on the Networking tab.

  Then, press the icon of Webservices or and reactivate your webservices (required for scanning to E-mail, ePrint , and other functions).

  Then, if a scan to e-mail question has led you to this position, tap the scan icon and enter the email address that you want to scan to.  Then, recover the PIN code that you should automatically receive by e-mail and complete your scan to E-mail setup by entering this PIN code in your printer.  Ideally, if you are able to get this good service will be fully functional.

  Alternatively, if ePrint is your main problem and all the above (except for scanning to E-mail steps) suggestions worked, try emailing your printer a print job. If it prints correctly, ePrint is back online. If you are a user of HP ePrint app, the app did automatically detect your printer? If not, go to the application settings and manually add your printer to the app using either ask you code or IP address of the printer. Finally, if you're a printable, user use your favorite applications on the front panel of the printer, or via HP connected.

  There are advanced troubleshooting steps beyond what I posted here and you can find them in the Forum such as displayed by the employees, Experts and members of the community. Start with the basics and if you still can't not to take advantage of Web services from your printer don't be shy to reach out - HP Support Forum's is a great place to exchange ideas and help each other to get the most out of our products.

  I HAVE A HP OFFICEJET PRO 8600 PREMIUM E ALL IN ONE-N911N PRINTER.  I have

  Download and install this.  This will install an application on your system, called "HP Scan" extended.   This software is designed to work with any recent HP scanner that has already installed the drivers.    The software does not replace your existing HP Scan supplied with the appliance.  It is rather an alternative which offers many more features than what came with your device originally.    This software is already available with the new HP machines.

  The selection of the default source is 'Use document feeder so burdened', so you should be able to scan from the ADF or flat all in one session.

• Question of B550 Wireless all-in-One

  So I'm a happy owner of ideacentre B550 that came with windows preinstalled 8.1. After using it for awhile, I switched to linux due to some work stuff, then completely uninstalled victory 8.1. Now, I just installed windows 7 x 64 and had some problems with the drivers. A lot of things lies in my device manager is marked under "other devices", however, no wireless adapter. I have not found driver WAN to windows 7 either - so what should I do? Looks like connection via ethernet is the only legitimate way?

• Photosmart C6380 all-in-One - printer error message question

  I have a HP Photosmart C6380 all-in-One printer.  It worked well for a number of years, but last year, whenever I want to print something, the orange light blinks and an error message is displayed in the window.  It is said: ' Please Oxc19a0035 turn printer off, then on.  If - before the printer print, I must turn off first and then on again.  It's more boring, to say the least.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can solve this problem?  Thank you, Ms. Dahlia

• What is the best all-in-one printer?

  We have been endowed with a HP Officejet 4632 years and there is no interface very well

  with our Mac.  When you use the charger, it does very well with occasional off-skew

  copies and scanned documents.

  However, when copying, scanning and resizing help flat, most of the empty time

  copies out.  When that happens, it should turn the printer power off and close

  Mac and start over.

  Are there other inkjet all-in-one printers

  I used the brother 7820N - it is an older model that makes black and white printing, but it connects beautifully on the network and reproduced faithfully what ever is sent.

  I guess the answer to your question depends on whether you need printing, what kinds of things print you color and what your budget

  There are some printers that are around 120-140 dollars if you are in the United States - try Canon or HP and are looking for discounts on stores like Best Buy or Fry

• XP to Vista All in one 6310

  I don't see anywhere on these forums someone ask questions about OCR of faxes when you configure a Vista computer. I had my old stolen HP (whole back upward and course) and my new laptop came with Vista, imagine my surprise when I created my new machine and there is no OCR software not found. I tried to load off the coast of the XP, but it seems to be stuck.

  I made a mistake with my installation? I do a lot of document scans and OCR has been essential for me and it was great that it came free with the all-in-one.

  What no one knows?

  Instead of using the cd - download the latest installation software full installation of the system on the net.  Often times of CD is outdated or there may be a patch or hotfix will be released once the product was packaged with the CD.

  However, if the OCR software is so important to you, perhaps you should look at buying a suite full OCR, rather than the relatively low recommended OCR software that provides HP.

• Black ink failure Photosmart 5510 e - All in one series

  Hi all

  Just bought the 5510 all-in-one PC world.

  2 questions.

  1. I can print it, but no (or little) black ink. I swapped the cartridges (in which case one provided in the box was a dud) but the same thing happens. No impression, or very light gray.

  2. I can print an alignment page, but the analysis fails, no suggestion of how to solve the problems, if alignment is dead in the water

  I lived all the troubleshooting onboard and used the mac based system to solve problems too.

  Nothing helps.

  (With no black ink), I can print from iphone or mac.

  Please help if you can.

  Hold button power for 20 seconds and then turn off the machine, then hold for 20 seconds then turn on the machine and this machine is turned on, press and hold the power button for three seconds following. This piece of lunatic of advice was given to me by the support. It worked. Which is lucky for them. Apparently not a ridiculous idea.

• Printer ink system failure message all-in-one HP 6180

  I can't print because of the error message following on my all-in-one HP 6180 printer screen:

  Ink system failure. Refer to the documentation of the printer Oxc18a0201. I followed all the recommendations on documentation of the printer, such as: installation later HP updates, turn off the printer and remove the power cord, remove all the ink cartridges and then putting back in when prompted. Also, I rebooted my computer. None of these recommendations have worked. I need help! Thank you.

  I met your questions and we have a solution for this and you can try it, but that would apply only on starting with '0xC18A' and not '0xc19a error codes.

  Try the following steps for Photosmart C7280:

  A. - Press and hold the "*" key.

  B. - Press the "#" and release both buttons.

  Display should say "enter special key Combo".

  C. - Press and release in sequence the buttons '1', '2' and '3 '.

  Display should say "Support" and display the FW rev (something like R0631R)

  Press and release the right arrow button until the display shows "Menu of the System Configuration'.

  Press and release the OK"" button.

  Display should say "hardware failure status. If it isn't there already, arrow above for "Hardware failure status"

  Press and release the OK"" button.

  Display should say "hardware failure status: clear." Press OK to erase.

  Press and release the OK"" button. Message becomes "hardware failure (breakdowns) resolved state. Press Cancel to continue.

  Press and release the "CANCEL" button as many times as necessary, so that, either the "Welcome to Photosmart Express" screen appears, or, the 'ink system failure' is displayed. DON'T TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.

  Using the power button, turn the power off and unplug the power cable from the back of the printer output and the wall.

  Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first, and then to the back of the printer

  Switch on the device. The printer may display message "USE POWER BUTTON CLOSING the PRINTER" followed by "Press OK TO CONTINUE". Press OK.

  If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If this isn't the case, the printer will start the "ONE TIME INK initialization PROCESS". Allow this process to do and not to interrupt. Once the initialization is completed, the printer print a Diagnostic page.

  To check, features of the printer print a PAGE of TEST car. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use or installation of the software.

  If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit.

  I have a DX1210 (PQQ09A - 02900G), and I have a question where the remote works fine when I start the machine for approximately 15-20 minutes, then it just stops working.

  There is no error and cannot find anything if you set.
  Again, only way to make it work is restart or put it to sleep and then wake it up again to the top.

  Yet lasts only another 15 minutes or more.
  Someone at - he encountered this before? Running Win7 64 bit.

  There is a driver called Winbond CIR driver

  You have to uninstall it first and after new reboot, install this package again.

• All-in-one OfficeJet J4550: only a fraction of the feed photo paper

  I am trying to print photos of 4 * 6 using HP photo tip on an OfficeJet J4550 paper.  Sometimes it works but most of the time after the initial report pull in the paper and the printer starts to print, paper only continues to fuel in about half of the way through the printing process.  So I find myself with half right of the image about half left of the document.  Sometimes I get two-thirds of the image and sometimes only one third - it varies.  The part of the picture I get is really good!  Any ideas?  Thank you.

  Hey @Steve2034, welcome to the Forums of HP! I'd love to help you to print photo 4 x 6 of your Officejet J4550. I understand that sometimes you can print a photo 4 x 6 full, but most of the time that the book fails to pass correctly so you end up with a partial impression. This happens when you print on 8 x 10 or any other photo paper? What happened when you print documents? Could you please try to make a copy of the photo of a photo 4 x 6 in order to test the equipment and eliminate the software/driver?

  Although you may be able to print documents, and assuming that it's a hardware problem, please complete the solutions suggested, presented in the following document: HP Officejet J4500/J4600 all-in-One Printer Series - Error Message "on paper" and the printer is not Pick Up or paper feed.

  I don't think you see an message to document your description, but the options presented in the document above could solve the problem you are experiencing.

  So yesterday, not for a long time I was doing / play music on my Hp Envy curve all in one Pc and my mom came and sat next to me and then she let out, but at the point where she was in the kitchen, it just stops randomly with our any type of warning, I don't think that she walk on the power cord I have no course at all, but it is possible so I went to unplug then plug it in to the top cause it does not turn on when I press the power button when I plug to the top she flashed black but the Orange button was not always the same color blue as it suppose to be so I did a bunch of time trying to turn it on , but does not it didn't work so I tried another way before he could flash I turn on the light turns blue can also here that the fan and fill the stream of him but he turns off power then black light flash if I want to sleep in the morning time problem still purists the case so I search something on google and saw that dust could stop working during overall of Suite causes more heard about it, but that is not possible I have a fan at the top but not always it cool so I took part found only a dust not big thing to stop it or fire finger nail, I just finished to put it back together I hope that me and my mother would think that he would return but it didn't at all I made sure that everything is plug properly within the the computer or damage, but I rarely someone let close because I don't want to be too bad there, but only a cord at the back of the power supply cord I can't go wrong plugin which up to I guess.   Thank you for the update. That you are having problems with it, switch on/off, in step 3 of this document, you can select the section that best describes what is happening. If there is something to the step you can not do, then you move to the next thing listed in this process, you can do.

  If you are getting nothing, can not enter the BIOS to do some tests of material, and there is no sign of any change, then at the end of the document it tells you to contact HP support by using this link, http://www.hp.com/contacthp, fill in the form, create a folder for your question, and then use the information to communicate with H phone support.
