R51 display no light

For several weeks now, I noticed that the display of my R51 needed seconds to get to a bright light normally. When I've recovered from the hibernation mode it started very dark with a Red Tan and seemed to need about 10 to 15 seconds warm up and shine as it should. Three days ago it suddenly started flashing, then worked with stable again, but not as bright light and with a tanned reddish area. After a new commissioning the next day, he worked well once again, but after a few hours it was dark. Looking closely at it that I could see that the Office was there, but the light of the background screen is apparently off.

I managed to get an external display to display the same image that the display of ThinkPad. On this, the desktop appears correctly. It must display the ThinkPad which is on the Fritz. It looks like a hardware failure.

Does someone can give me a hint component that causes this error?

Is the inverter LCD TVT, or the screen or what?

Please help quickly, I need my R51 outside the home.

Welcome to the forum!

The backlight (CCFL) on your LCD badly shot, dyed red is donate death for that matter, since NOTHING else it triggers.

Although the bulb is replaceable, it's a pain to a job and you are much better to swap the LCD screen or a whole cover.

Good luck.

After talking to HP support, they say it is a unknown hardware problem and send a replacement.

It seems that something is wrong with the ink system. Maybe it's a problem of cartridge or print head. Here is a link that can help you.

  • Portege Z830-10F no display - power light flashes

    Hello

I have a problem, when Toshiba Portege Z830-10F of loading, the screen is off, flashes of light of energy Green two times two times yellow and repeated, the screen will not turn on.
    What it means?

(PC was left alone in the night on table)
I try to disconnect the battery and load without it, it did not help.

Indicator DC IN (first on the left):
Flashing orange indicates a problem with the power supply, initially, you should try plugging the adapter into a different power outlet. If she does still not work, please contact Toshiba support in your country.

((Deuxieme power light to the left):
Flashing orange indicates that the computer is in mode 'sleep' and that there is enough available power (mains or battery adapter) to maintain this State. In sleep mode indicator lights for a second and off for two seconds.

    Also try this.
Remove the battery, disconnect the adapter, press and hold the power button / stop along 30 sec.
Now connect the battery and AC adapter and turn on the device.

  • Display map mother bip

While removing a mouse, my brother dropped our HP Pavilion Slimline s7613w. There he raised only slightly above the ground (no more than 1-2 inches) until he dropped.

The monitor displays a light waves on the screen. Then, I turned off the camera and turned it back. The PC was able to turn it on, but the monitor doesn't show anything and the PC has a continuous beep. I have connected my other computer to the screen and it works very well, so there is nothing wrong with the cables. The pins on the video connector on the HP Pavilion Slimline s7613w are not broken either.

I opened the unit to see if something was damaged and nothing seems to have been broken. I don't know what to do at this point. I can't afford to go to the shop and fixed. Maybe I'm missing something here...

Greg, I suggest opening the housing and relocation of all components.  They were probably disturbed in their seats when the computer has been abandoned.  I hope this will solve your problem.  If this is not the case, let know us and we will dig deeper into our bag of tricks.

  • Intermittent failure Photosmart D7460 display

The mobile display only lights up on the 'click' of the highest positions and, sometimes, to a notch between the two.  The printer works perfectly otherwise.  Looks like a contact problem!  Can you recommend me something please?

I would advise to try to reset the printer if empty view state is displayed.

    Hard Reset:

Unplug the unit when turned on

Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall outlet

    * Wait 30 seconds

    * Unit back in

Thus, there are additional measures to help resolve when a screen of the printer is empty.  These steps can be found in the document troubleshooting related here.

    I hope this helps.

  • See Menu > display theme option is missing. How and where should I do?

I would try to improve the legibility of PDF documents in Acrobat DC by changing the display of light to dark gray theme. However the View Menu > display theme option is missing? I tried to run the updates, but there is none is available.

Ideas anyone? If this the wrong forum if you please direct me to the correct forum.

The classic way WORKS LIKE older versions. You buy a license permanent (or upgrade). You download the software as it is released. There are bug fixes. After a year there will be new features or you can choose to buy an upgrade.

On the other hand, the CONTINUOUS version updates regularly and continuously into small pieces. Finally, we imagine, the classic will catch on a paid upgrade.  You get the continuous version if you subscribe.

  • OpenScript (string) info - method, SEE display.

    Hello

We use the info (string) - method in a script. But the string is not displayed in the display of LIGHT.

How can we do this? And where is the string?

    Kind regards
    Axel

    Hi Axel

This is because the info method only writes to the log file and OpenScript console.

For display SEEN, you must use:

    getVuDisplay().setDefaultContents("some content");

  • C5180 home networking problem

    Printer:  HP Photosmart C5180 all-in-one

    OS:        Windows 7 Ultimate

History:  Had DSL and installed the printer without problems using the IP printer and WIN7 Installer.

Passed to FIOS and received a new router wireless and new ips for everything.  A laptop is connected to the printer via the port USB... works very well.  The other laptop I tried to connect to the printer via the network (wireless and inflexible to the router) without success.

Wrestling:  When I had DSL, the screen of the printer worked fine. UH... then, for some reason, uh, it stop working.  I'm no expert, but there was this time when some paper stuck internally and I disassembled the top and rear it ever-so-carefully. However, during reassembly, the top fell back and pulled out a few ribbon cable... maybe those two things are correlated... in any case, I did retrieve the jammed paper.

Gaps:  I can't figure out how to discover the new ip of the printer, and ""Add a printer"in Windows 7 will not conclude it on the network (the printer displays networking lights: green and orange flashing at random)"

    Any help is help.

PS I know where I can get a replacement ribbon cable?

Okay, either HP and the border do not mix with the ethernet or the HP some how broken when the guys from Frontier moved my netgear ethernet cord to their router/modem...  I give up... bought a new printer.

    Thanks for the 411.

  • G7-1070us Pavilion: laptop starts but the screen is intermittent

laptop starts up ok and the display is available on the external monitor or a hdmi to the tv. turn top display backlight lights up but the screen is blank.

    Hello:

Yes, it was what I thought. I do not understand how the same pilot worked as a temporary solution.

Decide for yourself after you have identified the cause of the problem. If it's just a matter of cable, I think it's worth repair. Otherwise, I have no idea, maybe it'd cost you big.

Give it to get it repaired in a good local computer shop.

  • HP Pavilion 15 laptop: The laptop has been shutdown automatically

    Hello!

I've been using this laptop for almost a year now and it has never happened before with me. While I was working on the laptop, it stopped all of a sudden. Any order of work which includes the display, the light power, HDD witness, all but fan of led. Fan was working at a speed much more than normal.

I tried pressing the power button, long pressing the power button to force the system to stop, as I tried to connect it to the charger, but nothing has changed. It were not protesting same power cable connected light. It was so weird to me. My battery was around 40% at the time of closing down.

Finally, I removed the battery and inserted a second time to restart the laptop.

I was just to find out what happened and why it happened all of a sudden. Given that it was the first time, I don't want it happen again in the future. So, if someone can tell me why it stopped all of a sudden. Is there any log that is stored in the PC for such events, I can give you, but you must tell me where could I find.

    Thank you

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum.

These things can happen because of hardware problems or software issues. From what you describe, it actually froze, did not stop automatically. You're the one who took the dough to force stop.

You can view these HP articles on similar situations:

    > > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03408309 (Win 10, 8.1, 8)

    > > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01896793 (Win 7)

Given that this only happened once so far, I would recommend you don't change anything at the moment, but just check a few things to ensure the most critical parts are OK.

-You can go to start > > settings > > Control Panel > > administrative tools > > event viewer to examine the most recent activity log.

You can check the logs of Windows (System and Application).

Please, do not be afraid if you see a lot of red or yellow points - not all of them critical - it is a simple logging system

-You can search your computer for malware/viruses to make sure there is not everything. Some may cause locks.

You can check with the free tools like these:

    Kaspersky TDSS Killer > > http://support.kaspersky.com/us/5350

    ESET Online Scanner > > http://download.eset.com/special/eos/esetsmartinstaller_enu.exe (www.eset.com)

    Sophos HitmanPro > > http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro

    Remove all threats if found

-Check the status of Windows Update in Control Panel and it is not set to automatic, but rather the value in order to warn you before you download and install updates. Sometimes, if a updates takes longer to download/install, a computer might freeze.

-You can check the hardware in your computer for hardware problems. Here's how:

    > > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03467259

    > > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03467259#AbT1

Once you load the UEFI material diagnosticsPlease, perform the Test System > > quick test

It will quickly check the most important components such as battery, RAM, HDD, motherboard, processor

Let me know what you were doing, what the results were.

  • Satellite L500 - black screen after a reboot manual or automatic

    Hello world

This has me frustrated for three weeks, but I only just realized it is associated with manual restart or software required.

My old 6 week L500 laptop refuses display different lights for indiactors on AV - no light on the keyboard, no screen, the fan runs but no disk activity I can hear.
I managed to drill three times by forcing tap down using the switch hold down, removing battery wait and then start up.

Earlier today, she decided to put on according to this method, and I was able to quickly jump in and empty my libraries and outlook.pst to a cause external hard drive my business she runs.

Anyone know a solution to this problem?
It's the first Toshiba that I have ever owned, and it's really frustrating to have to launch this 4 year old Acer to find a solution to my problem.

Maybe the problem is Windows 7 but cannot find my way through this place to a response.

    Anyone, please?

    Hello

You mean the L500 is not unbootable?
Solution remove the battery and ac adapter doesn't help more?

Hmm generally this should not happen sometimes the laptop could hang somewhere in the standby or hibernation and the mentioned workaround solution might be an option to wake up the unit

It is difficult to say what's going wrong here possibly it s hardware related issue
So perhaps it would be best contacting the local ASP the guarantee must be valid and I think that everything should be done for free

  • Jumpy brightness slider

II have undergone a strange behavior with my iPad pro. When I go to the brightness level by using the slider in the control at the bottom of the screen Center (the white one you access when you pull up), the cursor will be often "jump" away when I take my finger and find themselves either slightly higher or slightly lower than what I wanted. This happens about 75% of the time and I can't reproduce it in the display and light settings pane; It only occurs when you use the control panel. Everyone knows something similar?

    Thank you

    Yes.

The same questions also happens with the volume slider in the rollout Control Center!

    Frustrating.

  • Pavilion g6 2213sa: upgrade of the APU - computer laptop won't start

I recently bought an APU A10 - 5750M on eBay with the intention to replace the A8 - 4500M in my 2213sa. I saw some videos on YouTube of people doing this with HP laptops so I know it's possible, but for some reason any, that he doesn't let me do on this laptop.

    Why not?

Oh and just as a note, it's not because the motherboard was short-circuited or anything, because it lights up. Just died not much later. The display also lights.

Also, I put the old APU inside and it works very well with it there. As far as I know, there is not any new update of the BIOS for this laptop, so I don't know why it does not start.

It does not start because it is not compatible. You need A10 - 4600M.

    See p. 1:

    Repair manuals

You are invited to come here and ask what processors are compatible rather than Youtube.
