Rear camera / flashlight has stopped working

I noticed this morning that I went to take a picture my camera back iPhone 6 no longer works. As chance would have, my warranty expired 11 days ago.

The front camera still works, but I see a black screen when I try to use the camera back. In addition, when the flash icon should be, there is a yellow exclamation point symbol. If I press on it, I see a message that says "Flash is disabled. The iPhone needs to cool down before using the flash. "(The iPhone is not visibly hot).

In addition, the light will not illuminate.  Type the key does nothing.

I tried some things:

* Kill and restart the camera application

* Restart the phone

* Charging to 100%

* Turn off the phone, wait 15 minutes, restarts

* Reset all settings

* Erase content and settings and then set up as new iPhone

At this point, I'm sure it's a hardware problem.

12 days ago (one day before the expiration of the warranty), I got my phone repaired by Apple to fix the front camera, which was poorly aligned (search for "crescentgate"). The camera and a flashlight worked yesterday, but not today. The phone has not been dropped or wet - it has just stopped working.

I guess that this pourrait be covered by the 90-day service warranty?  A chat line of Apple representative told me that it should.  But if not, it will be Apple charge me as a replacement for the camera?  I can only find a single out-of-warranty repair costs listed $299 and there is no way I'm paying a lot when companies third repair will do it for $80. Someone at - it experience with this?

Here are a few standard repair procedures:

First of all, try a system reset.  He heals many ailments and it's fast, easy and safe...

Hold down the power button and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You won't lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.

If the Reset does not work, try a restore.  Note that it is nowhere near as fast as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via a cable to the computer that you use for synchronization.  In iTunes, select the iPod/iPhone/iPad, and then select the Summary tab.  Follow the on-screen instructions for restoration and don't forget to say 'yes' to safeguard.  You will be notified that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be deleted, but that the restoration is complete, you will be asked if you want the backup content to be copied to the iPod/iPhone/iPad.  Even once, say 'yes'.

At the end of the basic restore, you will be asked if you want to synchronize the iPad/iPod/iPhone.  As before, say 'yes'.  Note that syncs selection will disappear and the restoration will terminate if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If this happens, only applications that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective is simple – bottom right of iTunes, choose manual 'Sync '.

If you are unable to do the restore (or it does not help), go into Recovery Mode according to the instructions here.  You will lose all your data (game scores, etc.,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being recharged.  In addition, read this.

    If I uninstall divx then PE9 won't crash, but only audio is present.  VIO said correct codec must be obtained from Adobe.  Is there a fix for this so that my $100 is not lost?

    Unfortunately, DivX and Xvid are not well taken in charge, or not at all. Some have had better luck with pre 9.0.1, but they are few.

    In order to ensure that things are as good as they get, I follow the steps described in this ARTICLE and also make sure you have the latest version of the DivX CODEC installed.

    Of CyberLink PowerDirector seems better to work with images of DivX, than does any program Adobe NLE.

    I have been using the utility of Communications (Lenovo - Web Conferencing) when I bought the laptop a few months ago, everything was fine. But now when I press F5 (shortcut key for camera options) there is a pop up with massage "Utility Communication UI hand has stopped working".

    Everything is fine in Device Manager.

    Is this a hardware problem? Is there a way to check?

  • LifeCam Cinema - LifeCam.exe has stopped working

    Just got a new webcam MS LifeCam Cinema that I ordered, but unfortunately, the software crashes.  The question is not the device itself, because I can see the video in the video settings Live Messenger window, and the test microphone also works.  However, whenever I try to run the software LifeCam itself, I get the pointer for a second, and then it crashes and I get the message "LifeCam.exe has stopped working".

    I am running Vista Home Premium SP2 x 64, completely up to date with windows update.  I uninstalled the driver from the CD and it redownloaded go web site (did not work).  I checked all the posts on what I could find, the most common suggestion was to uninstall the Nero software, but I don't have any Nero software installed.  Any help to get this thing to run would be really appreciated.  I want to especially this for video recording, to get the LifeCam program to work is essential.

    How many other USB devices attached to this machine?  Are you using non-powered for connection hubs?  I assume that you have already tried to connect to a different USB port on your computer?  Rear ports are better than using all the front ports on most machines (due to wiring and connections, I think).  If you change the Windows ports will really rediscover your hardware and quickly (without downloading) reinstall drivers current.

    For what it's worth, it's only about a week ago when I was offered and downloaded updates via Windows updates for my LifeCam camera.  That always seems to work correctly.

    a few questions.  Is the only issue on 10.2?

    also have you changed any code since it has stopped working?  simple small camera untied errors can cause most of the functions of the camera to stop working. (Believe me, it's a pain)

    One thing you can try to do is create a new project and migration manually your code more, which can sometimes cause problems.

    In the code you posted I noticed that the orientation is set to locked.  The orientation of your devices is locked? You can also check the handle bar to see if the orientation is set to orient on the page 'request',

    I have the same problem, sometimes using my U400.
    This happens if the room is dark for the camera.
    If something like this happens to you that I recommend that you keep your finger in front of the webcam for a short period.
    After that, the image of the webcam should come back again in my case it worked.

    It stopped working today.

    I have paid a top tea but removed is as fast as possible but a little water got inside my laptop.

    The anomaly can be related to different laptop parts in the worst case the liquid spill damage the motherboard and you will need to replace the part.
    In the best cases, it could be a RAM error as it happens to one of my friends.
    He spilled coke on the keyboard and after awhile the laptop could not turn on.
    We checked memory sharp and replaced both modules with new RAM modules and this fixed the problem

    You can try this also maybe it helps if all other parts should be checked by a technician of the ASP.

    I have problems printing my Photosmart C5280 All-in-one on my desktop of Windows Vista 32-bit. I felt for a few years and have only recently met this issue. A few months ago, I set up a home network so I could print from my Toshiba laptop. The printer is connected to the computer via a USB cable and the laptop is connected via a Bigpond Modem/Router which is connected to the desktop via an ethernet cable. More recently, I have also configured for my son to be able to print from his HP laptop. Initially, we were able to print from any computer. The two paltops are running Windows 7 64 bit. However, in recent weeks, we noticed that we were no longer able to print from a laptop, and a few days ago, I was unable to print from the office. When I try to print from the office, the print job seems to go to the print queue, but is then removed from the queue. I then get an error message

    "GPCore COM object has stopped working and was closed".


    This applies to all applications even the test print. I just went through the steps on the HP site, including downloading and execution of printing HP troubleshooting and doctor Scan and uninstall then reinstall the printer. I'm a bit of a novice at the side Computer Hardware and wonder if there is anyone out there who has had a similar problem and found a solution. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Sometimes to do a simple uninstallation / reinstallation is not do the trick, and we try to remove all the software from the computer completely. Most of the drivers available at HP have a scrubber utility that removes all traces of the software on the computer and allows you to reinstall the software fresh. We should start there and see if that gets us running.

    I recommend you to do all this on the Vista machine. Once we have a working computer we can then pass from there to other laptops.

    Here are the instructions to use the tool of the scrubber. There are two sets of instructions, one for if you have installed the drivers from the HP website or if you have installed the drivers from the CD that came with your printer. Follow the instructions for your installation accordingly.

    Of the Original installation CD:
    1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup
    2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open
    3 open the Util folder
    4 open the CCC folder
    5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.bat. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.bat
    6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
    7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup
    8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player
