My order was cancelled to fix a mistake. I need to reorganize or Dell will reorganize for me.

  • (Redirected) Dell XPS 15 4 k display order cancelled by Dell?

On 4 February, I ordered a Dell XPS 15 with 4K display, their configuration more expensive and had a Feb. 25 date.

Every day, I check my status of order, to see if there is no change. and last night when I did I noticed that my order has been cancelled.  I didn't cancel it, so this morning, after an hour and a half on the phone I know that Dell cancelled my order because of the incorrect system configuration.

When the representative the customer Dell told me this, I told myself; Hmmm, maybe it's a blessing in disguise and I will get a faster processor, or better video card... while I stayed on hold when you rep the new correct configuration set up all kinds of visions of faster systems has crossed my mind...

Then the rep comes back and lists the new configuration...  Dell XPS 15 basis, CPU Intel, 16 GB RAM, SSD 512 GB, etc etc...  I watch my old configuration and there is NO CHANGE!

I asked the Rep, Wow; Wait a second, you listed the same configuration I initially ordered... what gives?  The answer that gave me is that the old configuration had different components... I asked who is different and we cannot give an answer.

In addition, the new delivery date is March 10.

Wait, I can go to Dell.com; and the same configuration is publicly available with a shipping date of March 4.  Why is mine is longer?

Because I want to really this notebook, I advanced and accepted the new order.  I hope that it does not get cancelled just before 10 March too...

I was a proud owner of Dell XPS M1710 and then a MacBook and an ASUS laptop; and now I decided to go back to Dell and this is the treatment I receive...  I hope that it goes better, not worse...

Anyone else have this same problem?

  • (Redirected) Order received cancel - don't know why

I'm having a lot of trouble to order from Dell.  First, tried to use my credit card, and they keep complaining that the authorization has no pass by... and call my Bank, and they claim that they have approved.  Spent more than a few hours on the phone between Dell and the Bank.  It was a nightmare.  So, I saw that someone claims that they used gift cards to dell and have a better chance to place an order... I don't really like it because I'll lose the cashback, but still no luck... Order was placed on Friday, canceled Monday when I check the status.

I don't know what went wrong.

  • (Redirected) Order was cancelled and I was not notified

So I ordered a laptop Alienware 18 on 05-06-14 and got a confirmation e-mail saying that it would be delivered by 06/24/14. Then on 13-06-14 I go check my order status and found the order got canceled for some reason any and a new order was made the same day but it is still going through orders from 15/06/14 and now will not expect to deliver until 01/07/14. I wonder if I should just cancel this order now and buy a laptop by the way. It is still the case?

  • order cancelled - Dell did not warn me - is a way of doing business?

I placed an order three days ago.  I got an email saying that the command has been received, with specific order in the email details (type laptop, processor, memory, etc.).  The order was definitely was received by Dell, since details of the system in the email.  But I never received a confirmation e-mail.

I spent * a lot * of time on the phone today, talk to 'support' staff, who told me that the order has been "lost" or "cancelled", or that there was "a problem."  (Yes - they really said that!)  Is it a software company?)  They balance me to place the order again, but there is no documentation that the order was cancelled in fact.  This is all very frustrating.

Is a Dell computer company?  Dell wants to sell computers to individuals?  I ordered several Dell computers in the past, both for home and for the institutions, and I've never run into that.  How can an order simply disappear?  How a Dell employee can cancel an order without notice to the customer?  Is there a phone number to talk to someone who can answer questions and not only give formulas answers?

    Hi Frank_01602,

    Thanks for posting.

My apologies for your experience of the command.  If you wish for me to look into this, please contact me privately and include your account and order information.  Thank you.

    Kind regards

  • Order cancelled but shipped anyway

This is the worst. I had an order for my parents on Thursday night, joined a cat to cancel the Friday morning (1), we were talking about a phone number, what we called to cancel, waited for about 10 minutes to speak to an agent with no luck, recalled an hour late and spoke with someone to cancel the order (2), provided that the cancellation has been processed.

Checked email my dad yesterday to see that they got a notice of shipment over the weekend. Connected on the cat (3) again and got transferred (4), because neither one could help me, I was directed to call. Designated (5), then got transferred to new (6). None of the officers listened to my initial questions/concerns, even if I have said several times that I had ALREADY cancelled, he always tried to send me. Annndddd I come back just one answer to the question I sent Friday, asking to confirm the cancellation, let me know what I already know... it's too late because it's already been shipped (7)...

This should have been shipped. I want to assure you that we will be not responsible for return shipping this order. It is a major inconvenience, and I was running in circles. It was supposed to be a surprise to my parents, but now, I will simply do not accept deliveries?

I've been a loyal customer of Dell for years, but those days are gone. So disappointed.

Hello!  I actually had your issue happen to me once where an element has been completely cancelled and shipped in any case.  Sometimes a computer system does not know what did the other computer system, or the item shipped before it was actually canceled.

However, DO NOT REFUSE the order of the DAY.  If you do, it could take weeks or months for you allows you to receive a refund since it is not considered a valid return.  You can call to initiate a return customer, or follow the instructions here to get an RMA number and deliver the return object.  The last time I checked you don't have to pay for the shipping of the item to Dell, as much as it was cancelled.

  • (Redirected) Order fiasco

Hello.  Need to vent about the stellar Dell Customer Service...

I've been playing games for many years and I've been to the top of my old office of classification as the graphics and games has improved.  Finally decided to make the investment in a good gaming system and placed an order for an Alienware desktop system and assortment of accessories.  I entered the command last Saturday and never received an e-mail confirmation from Dell.  I texted in Dell support yesterday (since there is no support on the weekend) with the purchase ID # and was told that the order had not pushed grace from the website and that I should re - enter the order. I re - enter the order yesterday.  This morning I had two confirmations for the same hardware.  Imagine my surprise when I discovered that I was now owner of 2 expensive game systems.  Has not only had the first order "pushed through", but some elements had been completed and delivered.  The only thing that Dell was very fast on were visa authorizations.

I called Dell support today and they told me that they cannot cancel is stopped and I have to wait to receive the components in 2-3 weeks then return each for a refund.  In the meantime, they organize the $ 3,000 + additional system costs and was ordered based on their defective insurance for me that the first order had not pushed through from the web site.  As a kicker to this fiasco, the orders have also a charge of $300 for a docking station to go with my office.  Which should be a charge of $300 for the basic graphics accelerator that makes a helluva a better sense of a lot for a game system.

Sorry for the conduit, but I can say this is the last company that Dell will never see me.

    BR

  • (Redirected) Order delayed without notice to the customer

I ordered a computer dell laptop on 20 December 2013 and my estimated delivery date showed that December 31, 2013. Then, shortly after the order was created he showed as Jan 8, the estimated delivery date. I had planned to fly on January 10, 2014 at the head of my house as well as the laptop and I was fine with the delivery date. I had a conversation will be the representative of the customer service dell Jan. 6 to inquire about the situation such that she was still in production and was told that there was a delay in production due to a shortage of parts and the new delivery date is Jan 13. It was an unfair practice to keep the customer on hold and by not informing is not the same. If I had been informed of the delay I would have ordered another model that has the necessary parts to be shipped on time. Due to this Dell has lost a customer before the product has been used. I doubt that I would return to dell.

  • (Redirected) Order not received and Dell could not be contacted

I was due to take delivery of my laptop today and follow-up mail forward. Then, I received an e-mail saying that a delivery attempt had been filed and a card left through the box to the letters. No hardened as I have at home all day working in a lounge overlooking on the road; No vehicle courier and no card left through the door. I tried unsuccessfully to contact the courier service, but their automated system has no tree installation pointing out problems like mine and you can not email. So I tried to contact Dell and it was just as unsuccessful that you need all kinds of delivery codes and tastes. You can't really talk to anyone and Dell seems not to care about that. Finally, I used the online chat and left messages but I do not hold much hope. I'm now about £800 small and nobody seems to care. So much for the customer service.

Anyone else had problems similar, if yes, how did you deal with it?

    Hi Churchward 25,

  • Using JMS to create orders, update orders, cancel orders, etc... In OSM.

OSM has some Web Services that we can use, these methods are:
    • AbortOrder
    • CancelOrder
    • CreateOrder
    • CreateOrderBySpecification
    • FailOrder
    • FindOrder
    • GetOrder
    • ResolveFailure
    • ResumeOrder
    • SuspendOrder
    • UpdateOrder
But what I need now is to make this type of operation by a JMS message, which is placed in a queue of the OSM and that consuming OSM and the application process. I would be very happy if someone could guide me by saying the JNDI queue and the structure of the JMS message.

    Kind regards.
    Lucas.

    Hi Lucas;

The JNDI for JMS request queue name is oracle, communications, ordermanagement, WebServiceQueue.

The syntax of each operation of OSM WS is specified using XML schema that is associated with the WSDL file for the web service and is identical to the types of ports http (s) and JMS. Using a tool like SOAPUI you can import the WSDL of the OSM and then see requests for sample generated for each operation.

If you go to the test page WS (for example http://localhost:7001/osm/wsapi) and then click on the WSDL link, the full definition of the WSDL file should appear to you including the XML schema referenced. The URI of the referenced schema should be something like http://localhost:7001/osm/wsapi?WSDL/OrderManagementWS.xsd. You will notice that each operation WS and XML type schema are documented if strongly recommend you also consult these documents to understand how each of the operating functions.

We also provide an example of a web service with the SDK of the OSM indicating how to call WS on HTTP and JMS operations without the use of the generated proxy classes so that way you can really see what is required. You will notice in the JMS example that you set some properties header on the outgoing request to ensure WebLogic recognizes and can process the request.

    Hope this helps,

  • HOW CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER!

    Dell,

It's ridiculous! Two weeks after my order is placed, it is still in production. 2 hours on hand later that your customer service told me that the order is in production! Please enlighten me! Parts are on back order and no idea when my computer will be ready. I request to be transferred to the order cancellation Department who is snippy, wonder how I ordered, I offer you the order number, but he insists with 'you continue to say, that you order' I answer with XPS13, then he says that I can have the order number! I ask her why the * did you lose more time to ask me what I ordered when I offered him the number to order instead of fist, he hangs up on me!

I ordered a computer because I need it, not because I have a sadistic desire to wait an indeterminate time and so he can appear!

Can anyone help with this? I'm filing a complaint with the AGs Office in the morning.

    Hi billygaddam,

    Thanks for posting.

I'm sorry for the confusion about your order.  If you wish for me to check into the status of the order for you, please send me a private message and include your order information.  If you would rather just cancel the order, customers have reported good results by calling 1-800-247-2076 Option 2.  Thank you.

    Kind regards
