RN102 inaccessible after update firmware 6.4.2

Hello

Last week, I have updated the firmware of my RN102s 2. It works fine, no problem, but the other has serious network problems. I can't reach the appliance through the folders on the computer and same connection through the browser gives problems. The administration page keeps refreshing, doesn't show is not the device. Both devices have the same protocols, etc.

Please me advice what to do.

Thank you!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 has ceased to print after update firmware for LRP1FN1231AR

I've updated the firmware in my work perfectly 8500 has and now the printer will not finish a print job after few minutes of no activity.  The fax is the same thing.  This all started AFTER the firmware upgrade completed successfully!  Now I'm stuck with an anchor of a printer.  Looks like it prints print and fax jobs in the buffer if I open and close the door of ink cartrage.  The unit currently cartrages to ink HP not installed and those that have been installed at the time of the upgrade.  I got a message warrning that using ink not HP may void the warranty.  Is it a time bomb that HP put in the new firmware to cause me to have to return a new printer?  All possible solutions?

I installed an old set of "Genuine" HP cartrages that have been spent and the printer seems to work now.  I stayed alive all night without the message "printing" terminal hidious.  Very disappointed that the update didn't warn me on this subject and now I need to buy all the new ink cartrages.

  • WRT160N... password does not work to get back in line to restore settings after update firmware.

The reason for the update of the firmware has been that the router would constantly disconnect, even if the ISP has been connected.  I was hoping that would solve the problem.

Failed to connect to router just after the firmware has been updated successfully (what said on the screen), but could not use "continue" to to precede.

Because the screen indicates the success, I closed the browser and reset the default router.

The next step in the process is to access the configuration page of the router web-based and restore my settings.

The PROBLEM... Now my password does not work to allow me access to the page of the router's web-based Setup to restore the settings.

I have an account, but nowhere in the account he mentions the password settings.

When you reset the default router, the router returns to a cache of user name and a password of 'admin' (without the quotes).  Please try to connect to your router.

If you continue to have problems, then you must try to reset the router by default.

To reset your router by default, follow these steps:

    (1) turn off all computers, the router and the modem and disconnect from the wall.
    (2) disconnect all the wires of the router.
    (3) turn on the router and let it start up completely (1-2 minutes).
    (4) press in and hold the reset for 30 seconds button, then release it, then let the router reset and restart (2-3 minutes).
    (5) turn the router.
    (6) connect a computer cable to port 1 of the router (NOT to the internet port).
    (7) turn on the router and let it start up completely (1-2 minutes).
    (8) the power of the computer (if the computer has a wireless card, make sure it's off).
    (9) try ping on the router. To do this, click the 'Start' button > all programs > Accessories > command prompt. A black DOS window will appear. Enter the following text: "ping 192.168.1.1" (without the quotes) and press the Enter key. You will see 3 or 4 lines that begin with ' response to... ". "or"Request timed out". If you see "reply from...". ", your computer has found your router.
    (10) open your browser and point it to 192.168.1.1. This will take you to the login page of your router. Leave the user name blank and in the password field, enter "admin" (without the quotes). This will take you to your router configuration page. Note the version number of your firmware (usually found near upper right corner of the screen). Exit your browser.

If you get this day without problem, try the Setup disk (or configure the router manually, if you prefer) and see if you can get your work and router configuration.

If you can not ' response to... ". "in step 9 above, your router is probably dead. A report with this problem

If you get a response in step 9, but cannot complete step 10, is that your router is dead or the firmware is damaged. Related to this issue.

If you need additional assistance, please indicate your ISP, the make and model of your modem, the firmware version of your router and the results of steps 9 and 10. In addition, if you receive error messages, copy them exactly, and report.

Please let me know how things turn out for you.

  • Airport Extreme in brick after update firmware 7.7.7

Error while trying to update the Airport Extreme (model A1521) firmware to version 7.7.7.  After clicking on "Refresh" for the EPA in the utility AirPort app on my MBP, it seemed like it was downloading and then restart, but then the "error during firmware update" message popped up.

Then he disappeared from the AirPort Utility app. check the physical EPA, he got a quick Orange flashing light on.

Perform a reset by mode on "soft" apple support  No change in status in the AirPort or LED utility.

Perform a "hard" reset No change.

Perform a reset "factory".  Solid green LED for 1 second, off for 1 second, then fixed Orange LED for 5 to 10 seconds, then orange flashing LED forever.

Removed all connections to the EPAS, repeated above steps with identical results.

Tried to plug the cable to all ports, a both MBP, then in a port to a different router.  No connection.

Base from the bottom of the EPA to inspect the connection with the ohmmeter removed rubber physical reset button. Button contacts are open when not depressed, short circuit when pressed.

EPA appears at all in the AirPort Utility (not in "Other WiFi devices" or the other).

Pushing the reset button on the EPA has no effect, no matter how much time or when it is pushed.

Once the power cord is removed and inserted, the indications are always the same, no matter what I do with the reset button. Green LED for 1 second, off for 1 second, Orange fixed for 5 to 10 seconds, then orange blinking forever.

Interaction ONLY with the device, which had until this point was working perfectly for years, has been through the AirPort Utility software.  Physical interaction occurred after that the update of the firmware he bricked.  Simply, I do not understand how a botched firmware update might brick the MONKEY.  The default firmware must always be able to be loaded with the reset sequence.

    Help, please.

You should not open it... Apple may have been told by replacing.

Firmware updates are always dangerous... the airport less then most of the routers.

However very rarely something can go wrong and the firmware written correctly to the ROM. This will leave the router in a State of broken forever. You need to replace unfortunately.

He got a quick Orange flashing light on.

Restore mode flashing quickly means that it is in...

Perform a reset "factory".  Solid green LED for 1 second, off for 1 second, then fixed Orange LED for 5 to 10 seconds, then orange flashing LED forever.

It flashes quickly or slowly forever?

The ethernet light when you plug the ethernet cable?

As far as I know, there is no firmware emergency repair method at airports... Apple has every confidence their sequence of upgrade to work, even when the firmware is delivered more wireless... always a big risk CF ethernet.

    remote control does not work.

    Hello

    > Now I have RC with the iPhone.

To use the REGZA link, the two devices must support this standard.
    I doubt iphone this.

To use an iphone as a remote control, a special application is necessary
I know that some app stores contains these apps for TV from other manufacturers, but I don't know if you there is a Toshiba app in the app store to control the Toshiba TV via iphone m.

  • After updating Firmware, cannot access DDNS

Two days ago, I consulted my router page (AC1450) and found a banner telling me that an update of the firmware (V1.0.0.34_10.0.16) was available, so I enabled it to happen.

Since then, I am not able to access my computer remotely. In the advanced for DDNS page, he says that the update was two days ago. When I clicked update, it says that the username and password are incorrect.

They are not wrong he was working before the update.

I don't know what was the previous version, but I need to get this back to work.

    John

After this announcement, I called Netgear support. My router is out of warranty, so it wasn't much that I could discuss with the representative outside to pay a tax of exhorbant for an answer. I was directed to the FAQ page for answers.

Error on my part, and the lack of Netgear.

First of all, I got the router back up and operational. Was my fault, I didn't make a backup of existing information. Lack of Netgear, it didn't ask me to do this, after I clicked on the balloon to upgrade the firmware of the router status page.

If you are going to place a guest who is an update is available for a router, then Netgear must inform the end user that there are steps that need to happen, otherwise the data will be lost.

I found myself without downgrading the firmware, download the firmware on Netgear, then upgrade to the latest version of the software package, then instill information from scratch in my router and I was able to communicate with my computer remotely through DDNS.

  • WRT54G V4 cannot disseminate Slingbox off-line after update firmware for v4.21.1

Before the firmware update, I was streaming Slingbox and Orb inside and outside the network without port forwarding.  After the update of the firmware, I can only connect to Slingbox and ORB server from inside the network.  V4.21.1 addressed a UPnP vulnerability and it can prevent me from connecting to devices outside the network, but I don't know what to change in the configuration that allows access from the outside.  Can anyone help?

Execution of the Slingbox "Installation Internet viewing" corrected the problem with the Slingbox and restart the server Orb corrected the problem of the Orb.

  • All except a NIC down after updating firmware - PS5000E

After moving the firmware 4.3.7 to 5.0.8 and restart is only a single NETWORK adapter on my PS5000E.  I tried using the Manager of group and command EqualLogic line to bring up interfaces.  I was wondering if there is anything else I can try before sending someone to the data center to verify the physical side of things.  One thing I noticed, is that the controller who was in standby mode is now active. Seems that as part of the restart process.

    Hello

When you upgrade the firmware it inverts the controllers.   I suspect that you would find a single interface on which was the passive cable upward.  Very common problem.   If ports have an IP address and the requested State is in place, but there is no link, it's another indication that there is no cable connected, or ports are off.

If you restart the table, he goes back to the original controller.

You plan to stay in this version?   He is old enough.

  • ThinkPad E220 "Critical battery problem" even AFTER updating firmware of the battery

    Hey,.

I am owner of a Thinkpad E220 (5380-CTO) and the "Lenovo Thinkpad Toolbox" gives me daily alerts that I have a "critical battery problem". The link takes me to a page to download and update the firmware of the battery. "Updates to the Firmware of battery for hand and slice batteries (external) - ThinkPad Edge E220s, E420s Edge, X 1" http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?DocID=HT062049&AID=10429688&PID=3719336&CJURL=http%3A%2F...

I went through all the steps to update the firmware numberous times, including making the recalibration of the battery and I STILL get the daily 'critical battery error message '. Please help, the daily scans eat up RAM and it's annoying that I have to cancel every day.

The battery, from what I can tell, works otherwise.

    Thank you!

    Hi all

Just to give you an update. Our side engineering has tested and managed to reproduce the problem in their labs. They can confirm that by uninstalling the box to Lenovo tools and installation of the currently supported ' Lenovo Solution Center ' as a brand already proposed forum solved the problem.

The "Lenovo Solution Center" can be downloaded from the link below.

Do give it a shot and let us know.

My Sony BDP S360 Bluray stopped playing discs Blu Ray, everyone else will play. I have updated a.007 with success, but still will not play blu ray. I always get invalid or no disc message. What to do next?

  • jumble of text in the web interface after Web Services update / firmware

I received a message on the screen of my Officejet 6700:

    Update recommended

An update is available for Web Services (ePrint and Apps).

    Do you want?

I chose to update now and it installed fine, or so I thought.

I checked the web interface of the printer, and there is a bunch of text confused, as the code is messed up for the web server.

I had just finished to check the status of your ink cartridges (and subsequently replaced a), so I have the fully functional Web page fortunately still open on another machine, so I can tell exactly what is forward - after on this page.

On the tools > gauge of ink page, on the right page (old) the said table (title, first line, first column):

    Cartridges installed

    Color | Magenta | Cyan | Yellow | Black

    Part number

    Type

    End of warranty date (A-M-J)

    First Installation Date (A-M-J)

    Area of ink

    USE

    HP

But after the software update, it says this:

    Print the self-test Page

    L@S#0456 | Number of recorded events. L@S#0462 | L@S#0552 | L@S#0450

    Use of the accumulated media

    Date

    L@S#0477

    L@S#0561

    L@S#3345

In addition, the order "supplies" link, with a contextual text of "print order supply."

now, says "Cartridge", with a contextual text ' block unwanted faxes '

And "Print Printer Status Report" now says "L@S#2567".

I went to the support section and found an update firmware, but during download and execution, after you find the printer, he says that he is already up to date and leaves me not choosing to try and reapply the update of the firmware (as is obviously what is happening through the touchscreen menu has already done).

Should I just restore to factory settings? I think that firmware would not be changed by doing this. It is not an older version of the firmware available on the product support page, to return to an earlier version.

Via the screen menu touch printer, a Printer Status Report print indicates the firmware version is MPM3CN1322DR.

How to force a reinstallation of the firmware, or let them difficulty firmware which was released on 25-06 - 2013?

I've been using Google Chrome and even had 2 tabs open in the same window, one from before the update and the second I opened after the update, so this was not a factor.

I had not revisited the web interface of the printer to date, and currently, I see that the problem has disappeared!
The version of the firmware has not changed, and I did no manipulation of the printer. I also highly doubt that the main user has nothing, because it is not tech savvy. So, the problem seems to have corrected itself.

The only thing I see now, that I did not notice before, is that there is a version of firmware fix, but it currently says 0. I don't know what it was before, but I guess zero means that there is a patch, so the firmware didn't automatically update in order to make the problem disappears.

Problem disappeared, but I don't know how or why. I haven't decided if I will update the second printer that is the same model.

  • Dell XPS 15 SSD NVMe slow after updating the firmware July 2016 and papillonné CPU (Core i7)

Edit: 9/2: title change intended to reflect issues of CPU throttling and discussion (second half of the thread)

I noticed a huge performance drag after updating the firmware and drivers of my XPS 15 9550. The update took place August 4, 2016.

Performance of my usual applications (Chrome, development tools and IDE, etc.) is dramatically lower. In general, I would say that things take about 3 times as long to arrive. I checked the CPU (normal), but also memory consumption (as normal) to discover that the problem is with the SSD drive.

On this laptop: 500 GB NVMe thnsn5512gpu7 NV (toshiba). Attached are the results of a benchmark with AS SSD. All write speeds are appalling, to say the least... that explains a lot, but I have no idea how to solve this problem, and whether or not it really relates to the latest firmware + update drivers provided by Dell.

(Note: I checked the BIOS, it seems that the SSD is currently configured in RAID mode.) Never touched this option before.)

Any idea? Other affected users in a similar way. Thanks in advance.

I managed to get the performance back by going to the properties of the disc and turn off windows write cache flushing heat. The two boxes should be checked. Write speed then went to about 1400 MB/s.
