  Just installed a pix515e on our campus of satelite on our EXTENSIVE network. What should I do now to get through the firewall to see all Windows servers and workstations and be able to the Terminal Server service on the servers?

  Any advice or suggestions are welcome.

  Simply create an access list entry to allow port 3389 to your server ip address you want to Terminal to. Once this make sure the access list is applied to the external interface.

  access-list 100 permit ip any any eq 3389

  access-list 100 deny ip any one

  Access-group 100 in external interface

• Print driver error with HP LaserJet M1212nf Professional on Terminal Server in Windows 2008 (32-bit)

  We got a lot of printers LaserJet m1212nf installed the SAME version of the driver on the server and desktop computers and nothing is printed using Easy Print. No errors, no message, but nothing is printed, only when a test page is printed the server will display a warning: "no test page cannot be printed.

  After that, we try to use the HP instead of the TS Easy Print driver, forcing group policy first use the Hp driver. But the terminal server server always use the easy print driver so we are in the same way.

  If we try something else... THE PILOT XPS... but it works on the desktop PC, we try to print a test page in office printer properties, but "no test page cannot be printed" is shown... my God!

  WHAT CAN WE DO?

• Printing from a computer client NICU Terminal Server in windows Server 2003

  Client computers had already installed 2 printers that users need to be able to print, but when they access the Server 2003 and you want to change the default printer, they can not, only the administrator is able to change the default printer.   You must install the SSL certificate before connect you to the Regional service, the easiest way is to go to "desktop" IE10 open, go to the exchange server web access page, click on the notification of "certificate error" red and view / install the store "certificate authorities roots of trust." Then, make sure that your surface RT complies with the minimum requirements of security then connect to the exchange via the mail application server.

• Thumbnail option does not work in Terminal Server in Windows Server 2012 and server session

  This might be a stupid question.

  We have two Windows server 2012 R2 - TS and DC. The clients are connecting to TS and access the shared network drives present in DC. I always unchecked 'show icons, never thumbnails' and 'Show thumbnails in System Properties' enabled on DC and the two TS.

  No always thumbnail option.

  You will need to click on each image. Users have many files containing multiple images. It's annoying to click and view each image.

  Note: NO GPO is configured to block it. Checked.

  I can't find any object GPO to allow this option to be :)

  More info. For customers, anywhere, whether network shares or all folders in TS session. It does not work. Also tried painting and Windows Photo Viewer.

  No, it is not possible to use your key to series on Acrobat Pro XI.
  However, it is possible to hide the Tools panel permanently in Acrobat and Acrobat Reader DC

  Recently, we encounter an error when printing with our new printer to Terminal Server (Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64-bit Edition). Once we remotely to the Terminal Server, we are able to see the printer redirect, but when we test print he meets an error and cannot print. Please help and advice. • Terminal Server service not activated

  I downloaded McAfee total protection in October.  It would work for a day or two, then I get a message that wouldn't update.  I have uninstalled & installed four times, contact McAfee three times.  The last time I have contacted, I was told that Services Terminal Server for Windows is not running.  It is disabled and this is why the critical updates for McAfee will not download.

  By McAfee, I learned that I had to contact Microsoft to get a Server Terminal Services active again.

  I suggest you to check whether or not the Terminal Server service is enabled on the system. Follow the steps mentioned below.

  a. Click Start and click Run.

  b. type services.msc in the Run dialog box and press ENTER to open the services window.

  c. find the Terminal Server service on the system and right-click on it.

  d. set the startup type to automatic and then click apply and then click ok.

  e. now checks to see if you are able to download the update for McAfee on the system.
