should I take out the battery when the laptop is plugged in

Hello everyone, starting here. I have a question about my hp dv7-4274nr laptop... I said, when you use the computer should I take out the battery when it is plugged in to the 110 (ankle) is this true?

Thanks Mike

No, the only reason would be if you use the laptop on the sector for a long time, like a month or more, then drain the battery in 30-40%, and remove, store in a cool place.

  • Digital inputs only noisy when the laptop is plugged

I had problems with loops of Earth and power supplies for laptop in the past.  But it is the first time I got it so wrong that it makes the digital inputs which are both related to the ground and the debounced software cannot be used.

It is NOT material OR.  It's a DT9816 of data translation, a USB DAQ Multifunction with small budget.   The laptop with the problem is a refurbished Dell, with a very obvious not Dell PSU who throws to the top of the warning in the BIOS and scales back from the processor.  (Danger Will Robinson!)

The problem with the digital entries shows only upward on the Dell when it is plugged into a power outlet.  On all other machines and with the printer unplugged Dell, digital inputs floating.  But those that I have attached to the Earth is rock solid and work very well.

What surprises me is more than the noise is so bad that even tied to the ground with a half second debounce, I get always false triggers.  I have not brought to power, but considering that it sounds really loud, I suspect that it looks pretty bad.

I think I'll try a powered USB hub.  If this does not work, then I think that the customer will have to replace the power supply on the laptop.

However, I was surprised.  I used a lot of USB DAQ hardware, and it's the first time I've never seen a problem like this.  The NI USB 6002 I tested on this same laptop does not seem to show the same problems.  Even if it is true that this is a different software and the test was brief.

I'm curious to know if other developers have found something similar in the past.

I can confirm that using a USB hub external powered eliminated the problem of noise in the original post.

Interesting things.  I had not seen this before.  Now, I wish I had again the NI DAQ USB I had here last week so I could test that.

Looks like I'll use a hub powered on this project.  But I think I will recommend always replace this power.  Although a lot of noise coming from the power supply, probably isn't good for nothing plugged it... or even sitting near him.

  • I have 'Adobe model' my iPad.  What is the soft should I use on the laptop to do the same thing?

Can someone please tell me I should use on my laptop which does the same thing that "Computer Adobe" is the app on my iPad?

    Hi Paolo,.

Adobe Comp brings some of the features of Adobe InDesign on your mobile device. There is no model for the laptop Desk/computer version, you can expect to use InDesign (and in fact your Comp creations can be opened directly in InDesign to continue your work).

  • How to take out the battery?

It sounds stupid, but I have no idea how to.

    Here's how:

    1. Press and release the back cover release button located in the lower part of the phone.
    2. Slide a credit card or the nail of the thumb between the phone and the back cover, starting at the bottom and going up to halfway a side until you hear the clasp release.
    3. Repeat step 2 the other side of the phone.
    4. Lift it up contre-plat.
    5. Remove the battery by pulling on the tab that appears at the top of the stack.
    6. Insert the new battery.
    7. Position of the back cover on the phone and gently press on the two albums of clasps in the upper corners. Press the two clasps to halfway down each side of the phone.
    8. Slide the keyboardand press the two latches in the bottom corners.
    9. Hold button power on the upper right of your phone until you see a logo on the screen (about five seconds). Please be patient while your phone starts up.

    Hello.

Where is your code of exit_form (no_validate)? It is pressed when key trigger of push button. If so try to set the property of the button 'Navigable mouse' and "Keyboard navigable" value to no. in this way, the field validation date should not happen.

    Best regards.

    Hi Aditya,

You should not need to use a shared secret for 2 apps running - it's

specifically for external authentication. All you need is 2 applications,

both have the same roomURL. An application can have the publishing server, the

others may have of the Subscriber. I suggest that you spend some time to read the

LCCS Developer Guide, or listen to the video tutorials we provide.

    hope that helps

  • How should I fill out the Description of the channel

Run the example .vi write channel groups (PDM) and then import the .tdms data in Excel with the Excel add in tool

How can I enter information in the Description field of 2nd group?

    Thank you

    Hi Zilla,

Looking at the 'Description' refers to the Description property of each group.  That said, all you need to do is then use the 'TDMS Set Properties.vi"and a cable on behalf of the group you want to set this property to the name of the property (description) and the value you want to store for this property.  Is attached the same vi you mentioned in your post, but I changed to store 'Hello' in a description and 'world' in the other.

    I hope this helps.

  • Experiences over seven years with the battery life in laptop computers Tecra

Seven years ago, I bought a Tecra 780DVD, five years ago a Tecra 8100 and two years ago a Tecra S1. They re all still in regular use and I ve used now six packs of lithium ion batteries. My experience suggests that these four guidelines are worth observing:

    1. it is preferable to the hibernation and remove the battery if the laptop will be inactive for more than 2 or 3 days.
2 operating time vary a lot between the samples of battery even with the same operating conditions.
3 leave the charger plugged in with the full light on doesn't seem to hurt (despite some of the recommendations).
    4. better is not the first time, that it is unable to charge the battery of junk. The trick described below may reset the battery and get more useful life out of it.

Tecras see the end of battery life by battery light flashes orange or stay off when you try to reload. Last week when I returned from vacation what happened the 780 (now the WiFi print server) and I felt like déjà vu because all 4 batteries (three on the 780) and the other on the 8100 that I ve had previously fail expired the same way they failed to charge after 7 to 14 days of hibernation with the battery left in. In my view, that it can hardly be a coincidence.

I still had another 780 old farm and an old battery for 8100 that both failed about two years ago I did some tests. The batteries two 780 showed 10-11 volts on a voltmeter, but when I put them in the laptop and plugged in the charger, the led load always flashed. However, when I plugged the laptop battery already started the grid only, the hanging lamp orange and after an hour or two went green.

I think this shock treatment can have done in battery electronics forget they were supposed to be dead. Anyway, I did with all three batteries and then ran to see how long d last. The results were:

    (1) the 780 battery failed last week (after 36 months used) can now run the laptop for an hour.
    (2) the 8100 battery (with the active service of 16 months, but 'believed dead' for two years) will now run for 10 minutes or more.
    (3) the 780 battery believed dead for two years (after 19 months used) appears to load but t does not work the laptop. Half of the battery ended up hot and half cold, so now I guess that it s really dead.

Hoping others will compare notes, I've summarized below how long my battery packs lasted before they refused to pay more.

    Tecra780DVD:
Original battery: 30 months (discarded too soon. Might have gotten more if I had tried to trick reset).
First replacement: 19 months (stored for two years, after which reset didn't work).
Second alternative: 36 months (after reset now works for an hour).

    Tecra 8100:
Original battery: 16 months (stored for 2 years. After reset now lasts 10 minutes).
First replacement: 41 months and always well run.

    Tecra S1:
Original battery: 29 months and always well run.

All are genuine Toshiba and operating conditions are quite similar for all. Laptops tend to run 4-8 hours per day with the charger plugged and maybe half an hour on battery only. Sometimes we forget and the charger remains connected all night.

I m now wish I d tried the trick of reset on all batteries as soon as they failed, but at least I seem to have rescued two batteries. Even a moment of execution as short as 10 min is useful on a laptop that s especially power sector. It protects against power failure and you can keep your battery in the fridge until you need it for a trip.

  • Tecra A7: Is it ok to remove the battery and store it outside of the laptop?

I took out the battery of Tecra A7 my wife so that it does not load and offload unnecessarily (laptop works exclusively on the sector).

However, I read on the Internet that to take out the battery can sometimes be dangerous to its electronic components: namely, electronics no longer works correctly and the battery is considered to place in Notepad, as 'dead', even if this isn't really so.

This can happen with my Toshiba battery, too?

I did the same thing with my older Satellite P20. I put t see any problem here. But it is recommended to charge the battery and run the laptop on battery only from time to time. Charge the battery up and he sometimes empty. It's good for each rechargeable battery.

I put t know where you found this info but believe me you can remove the battery and laptop can run on power only.

  • is it harmful to the laptop battery to turn on the AC for a long time?

    Hello

Thank you for reading my post.

Is - harmful to the laptop battery if I put the phone on during a long period on the current?

    Thank you

    Hello

    the answer is not simple.

The Lenovo powermanager should do the job for you.

Maybe you are able to load automatic loading in settings powermanager.

I Don t know if the option in the new versions of powermanager is chosen as standard.

Maybe it isn´t a switch or a checkbox, causing the Manager already does.

But it won´t affect your battery when you leave it plugged in AC.

  • Satellite P105-S6157 running on the battery if the AC is plugged

I don't know what kind of my toshiba laptop model is whereas I posted about it here.
In any case, last night, I noticed that even when the laptop is plugged in, he was still working on the battery.

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting everything and even by restarting the computer.

Anyone have any idea what can be done to fix this?

Are you sure that the laptop is running on battery, while the AC is plugged?
    How did you check that?

Have you noticed that the battery power decreases when the laptop is always connected to AC?

What about the adapter? Is this ok?

Perhaps the adapter a malfunction and must be replaced
