  Hello.

  I've had my A210-12U for about five months now, and recently for the past few months I had some problems with the dvd player.

  The thing is that the player will not play all discs, the drive will detect that a disc has been inserted, but it will not read. It happened for about a month but its only recently I really know whats been wrong with it.

  The drive I currently use is a CARPET * A DVD - RAM UJ-8505 ATA

  I scanned the disk for problems with the support toshiba but utility that came with something so I decided to check the drivers.

  Windows Vista gave this Message: Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

  I uninstalled the drivers and drivers on there and installed new ones that I downloaded here on the toshiba site.

  What I really want to know is: is this a problem with the drivers? is it a case that the operating system does not detect the hardware? or is this a situation where I should have the disk fixed on its guarantee?

  Don t worry buddy I put t think that it s a hardware problem. It looks like a corrupted registry entry and it should be solved easily

  Completely remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters from the following registry key values:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
  and restart the laptop

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
  ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
  contacts data with a pencil eraser.

  Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
  manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

  Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
  Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
  do it right.

  Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
  the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

  Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and the
  correct registry entries for your car.

  Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
  as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
  the parameters.

  I'm a moderately experienced computer nerd, and today I met this problem I can't solve everything. Late in the afternoon, I noticed that my (DVD - RW) disk drive wouldn't read my drive, so I went to do some testing, (assuming that the problem was the disc) and I found that it would not read any disk I put in it. CD or DVD would work. If at this stage I think it's a problem with the drive itself, so first, I uninstalled the driver for my DVD player and restarted my computer, but that did not work, so I plugged in an external CD player I got earlier. (who has been confirmed to work in the past) And that itself doesn't has the same work. If at this stage I think it's some kind of virus or malware or something of the sort that could prevent any kind of disc. So I did two scans of all of the computer (1 scan Spybot) and 1 AVG scan AVG came up with nothing, and Spybot came with the usual threats of low priority. So I had difficulty all 'threats' Spybot finds it, but it is still impossible to get either of my drives to work. At this point, I'm at my wits end. I'm running out of ideas, and I'm exhausted. So, any help would be appreciated. Thank you! (by the way, I use Windows 7 Ultimate)

  I could finally understand! This idea has just popped in my head that maybe the laser needs to be cleaned. So I veerrry clean gently with one of these sweet rags that come with the latest TV, and I noticed that you can move. So I took a paper clip (just to be more specific about what I might touch) and I moved the whole part of laser to the outside edge of the disc. And then it worked perfectly fine. Thank you all for your help.

• Will not read disc HARD T410

  I recently went to use my thinkpad T410 and when he walks he gave a "HARD drive not found" message. So I rebooted the system and went in bios and tried to run a disk diagnostic check and he just gave a similar message appears saying please insert a disk in the HARD drive Bay.

  I was afraid that the HARD drive itself went bad, but I removed it plugged on my other computer. There, I ran a diagnosis of HARD drive and she returned the entire HARD drive is fine. I think that perhaps it is the connectors on the motherboard of the machine but would like other ideas. Thank you

  If it is still under warranty, call for service. Do not read further. It might be useful to withdrawal of the framework of keyboard/palm-rest and see if the drive is a good physical contact. It must be plugged in all the way. I warn you that the T410 is harder than most of the models to remove the palmrest, and the connector for the touchpad is a pain to connect. • Service SQL Server 2014 will not start start after the update sp1 (KB3058865, KB3075950, KB3094221)

  Hi, my SQL Server 2014 works very well in my server with WIndows 2012 until I installed the new day & service pack that was required for server hardening.

  I successfully installed SP1 KB 3058865 first, then discovered that the services do not start. After so much research to fix, I came with the 2 cu updates KB3075950, KB3094221 in knowing that it could solve my problem but unfortunately is not.

  I also tried to change the service account that many suggest, but his does not work.

  I tried to replace the master file & maslog but also failed.

  I tried to run etc and unique usermode and restore master db... also failed.

• Satellite Pro L300 will not start until after the update of the BIOS of 1.30 to 1.50

  Dear all,

  I have a Toshiba Satelklite Pro L300 and had no problem for the last 4 years. Last Monday, I replaced my hard drive with a new one and after installing a new copy of Windows XP Pro, I have downloaded all the drivers on the official site. After my last update, I have updated the BIOS to version 1.30 to 1.50. After a few seconds my laptop has rebooted and was not able to load Windows and / or recognize my new hard drive.

  I tried several methods, using safe, optimal Bios default etc but was unsuccessful. IO could not even re - install Windows as the hard drive is not being recognized by the laptop. I've formatted the HD again through my desktop Pc, but still have the same problem.

  I am really worried and would like immediate help!

  What happen exactly when you turn on your laptop?

  Set the BIOS as deult and try to install the original recovery image that you got with your laptop. If everything works OK that means upgrading the disk HARD was a success and there is not a serious hardware problem.

  After this check, you can try again to install Windows XP Home edition.

  I've seen similar posts on this problem but I have not solved my problem. Sorry if it's repetitive for some.

  My * DVD drive is visible * on my computer, but when I put one * disk in it does not display / run * (it cannot be read).

• Optiarc bd rom will not read bluray after upgrade to windows 7

  I tried a year ago to find and to address this issue and give it all up.  I'm trying again now because it really peaves me that I pay for a product a fork over the extra money just to be able to watch a bluray disc and then when I spend more money to upgrade to windows 7, my driver is no longer recognize blurays.  the pilot is optiarc 5500 s, I really hope someone has solved this problem by now, or, worst ever customer service.  Help, please.

  I don't hold much hope that it will help but I would like to remove the device and allow the system to reinstall.

  Go to the Control Panel Device Manager. Sanicle unit on the list and uninstall. Reboot the power off. Let the system re - detect and re-install support. Reboot once again and test.
