I had to go back to Blackberry Bold 9900 for awhile my Q10 screen is cracked and I sent it to be repaired. I put the new sim card in and try to set up the e-mail account he showed me the mail of size and I knew that something is wrong. I called my network provider and they have implemented my Blackberry data plan and I signed up with blackberry network. I turned my phone market and bb next to the network icon icon appeared which is good. But when I go to set up an email account and click the "email accounts" nothings happens. called my network, they do not know how to help me...

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books (pre-BB10 only devices)

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you can try this link from your BB browser:

Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for official support... but this time do not let you fob off the coast. You pay for your services, making them responsible for your formal support service, including if necessary climbing to BlackBerry-related.

    Good luck!

  • Smartphones from blackBerry Bold 9780 - need assistance to fix "App Error 603."

My Blackberry Bold 9780 white screen 'App Error 603' watch and several JVM error for the last two days. I tried to install a software update using Blackberry Desktop Software. The update will install to the point where the camera is supposed to turn it back on. Restarting stalls about 3/4 of the way, therefore impossible to properly install the software update.

(Before I tried the software update and was able to turn on the phone, I did a deletion of all user installed application security.) In addition, during the installation of the software update, error 507 return temporarily.

Any advice would be helpful! I use a Mac.

    Thank you.

Sometimes, when it comes to 507 and errors such as errors in the JAVA virtual machine, you must try and try again when reinstalling the operating system. You are doing the right thing to connect it to your Mac and reinstall the operating system, but if it doesn't work the first time, keep him home. Why it will not install on the first try, I don't know. I know that it took me more than three attempts in the past to reinstall the OS after a mistake of the JVM. And if you get a 507, you don't have any choice but to connect to your Mac and reinstall your operating system.

Patience is the key in this process in order to keep trying. See you soon.

Tried to reinstall the OS using Blackberry Desktop.

Tried to reinstall the OS by using the site Web of Rogers.

About to buy a new phone. Second time I had to erase and reinstall the OS since the labour party.

    Help!

    Here's where I found a solution:

Although I had managed to wipe my phone before attempting to download the operating system and applications, I kept getting blocked. Until watching this video, I have just to the point where I was in a frustrating loop of wiping, try to reinstall and receive messages of error 603. When I started my successful attempt, the phone was in a State of wiped and had an error message 507 on the screen.

Used the Loader.exe after I had downloaded the latest OS for Rogers Blackberry Bold 9900 to

Follow the instructions in the video. At my phone connected to the computer with the USB and kept the battery until I was ready to download the latest operating system and the applications selected using Loader.exe

Be patient with yourself. Be sure that you can solve the problem. I had kinda given up hope and thought that I would pay to repair my phone, or pay for a replacement. Glad I don't think I have to do.

  • Problem of Sync of Smartphones from blackBerry "BOLD" to BES/Exchange

I work this problem for some time and still cannot find a solution.

BES 4.1.6 (fully patched) on W2k3 fully patched
    BlackBerry "BOLD" (fully updated)
Exchange 2003 (completely up to day/patched) on W2k3 fully patched

When an appointment is entered in Outlook, it syncs popular with the "BOLD". When an appointment is entered into the "BOLD", it is not sync with Outlook/Exchange. Here's what I've tried so far:

    Patch all
Check that the two 'specific' DLLs are the same version on the servers Exchange and BES
Return the service book and IT policies
Check that the wireless sync is active on the "BOLD" calendar
Setting of the wireless sync on the BES of "undefined" to "enabled."

Please note that the curves can synchronize both ways without problem.

I am at a loss to know what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Smartphones from blackBerry Bold 9900 unusable after the attempt to update software

Yesteraday I started operating system up-to-date software (from 7.1.8xx to 7.1.2xxx I think).

After a while, the screen showed "App Error 602" and "Reset".

Do a reset via the abovementioned display or pop battery option simply returns the device to the same State.

I tried to download BlackBerry Desktop Software (710_b42), seemed to acknowledge a problem initially and offered to reload the software (at the cost of losing my apps, etc.).  I tried and the procedure failed with:

"There was an error in your software update"
"A connection to the device could not be established.  Please ensure that the device is properly connected to the docking station or the USB cable, and the cradle or the USB cable is properly plugged into your computer.  Also to ensure that the device made of start-up operations.  Run the Application loader wizard again. »

The physical connection is obviously not the problem since Desktop software has been able to detect that it is a 9900 and offered also to reload.

    Assistance would be most appreciated.

I finally got o/s to reload.  I still don't know why it worked on the third attempt, but not before, but I'm reactivated and now functional.

  • Smartphones from blackBerry Bold 9900 frozen while trying to upgrade

Hello, I tried to upgrade the software on my 9900.  Have downloaded well.  Once he started to install, the 9900 has frozen 3% backup social RSS.  It has been like that for hours.  I have no use of my phone.  Any suggestions on how to unlock it... What would have caused this... How to solve?  Thank you!

    Bob

Sometimes just wait it will allow the end of the process.  If it is too long and you lose patience, you can do the following:

There are methods of recovery for you to try:

    One:

    • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
    • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
    • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.

If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

    Two:

    • Connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Software and allow handheld to connect. If you are prompted to update, cancel the upgrade for later.
    • IF you can not connect or your desktop software does not recognize your device in Mode safe, please follow the instructions here to force detection: the ID Article: KB10144 how to force detect the BlackBerry smartphone using the Application Loader
    • Go to device > delete > SELECT DATA > select this option to remove the Social flow and smart card data bases and follow the rest invites you to complete.

Now, you can go back and click to update the device through the Desktop Manager, or restart the BlackBerry in normal mode and continue on the upgrade of the air.

  • Issue of transfer of Smartphones from blackBerry Bold 9700 Email

I recently transferred my data and emails from Outlook to my new Bold 9700.  Unfortunately, I used Blackberry Desktop Manager version 4.x that I used before with my old 8700 c, instead of the first update to version 5.0.  The new version of Desktop Manager apparently has an application designed to transfer all the data (all emails) from the old Blackberry to the new device.  In any case, all my PIM data transferred but only 7 days of emails (emails about 175) made the passage.  Talked with level 2 support to support Blackberry BES Office.  They said that only 14 days or 750 emails (which ever comes first) should make the transfer. They had me wipe the data off the 9700, delete my profile on the BES server, create a new profile of BES and reload everything.  Unfortunately I got the same results (and pass the next reload software hours, etc..).

The old emails are always in Outlook and on our company server.  The 9700 is set to store 6 months emails, but the Blackberry tech support people say that means 6 months in the future.

Any ideas on how to get the old emails transferred the 9700?

    Problem solved, sort of.

I had to exchange the 9700 for a new thanks to a faulty camera.

With the new 9700, I did the following:

    (1) delete my profile on the Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES).

    (2) load the latest version (5.0) of the Blackberry Desktop Manager (BDM) software on a laptop.

    (3) began the BDM software.

    (4) Switch Device Manager selected.

    (5) started the program "Switch Blackberry Devices".

    (6) connected the old BB 8700 c.

    (7) connected the new BB 9700.

    (8) follow the guests of the program.

    (9) waited 15 minutes for the old emails and PIM data to back up out of the 8700 c.

    (10) another waited 15 minutes for the old emails and data PIM to transfer the 9700.

    (11) restarted the 9700.

    (12) re-created my profile on the BES.

    (13) Ran the e-mail Setup Wizard (Setup > Setup Wizard > e-mail setup) and select the option "I want to use a professional email with BlackBerry Enterprise Server account.

    (14) entered the information on BES.

    (15) run the initialization of the enterprise activation process for about 45 minutes.

At the end of the process, I got all the 6000 + old emails entangled in dozens of customer records.  I also had all but two dozen of the hundreds of e-mails I received last week.  (I think the missing emails could have been initially sent during the outage of server last RIM Monday afternoon - Tuesday morning).

    All profile settings also transferred.

Now I can reload applications and non - 8700 c bound parameters.

  • Smartphones from blackBerry Bold 9700 used to synchronize with Mac

    Hello

I just moved from your PC Windows 7 on MacBook Pro, OS 10.6.7

I downloaded Blackberry desktop for mac, version 2.0.0.65

My bold 9700 has recently been upgraded to OS 6 (v6.0.0.48 platform 6.6.0.124), after the OS upgrade, my PC is well synchronized.

But now that I moved to Mac, I can start the BB desktop software, which prompts me to connect to the phone. I connect via a USB cable and the phone prompts to select USB drive, Media Sync or Charge Only.

I tried all 3 options, but after this selection, nothing changes on the BB desktop software, and I can not sync. I tried a hard reset on the phone then by restarting the mac.

Still no joy, can anyone help please?

It took me a few days to come up with this solution:

The problem revolves around Mac OS X 64-bit OS and Blackberry Desktop Manager for 32-bit OS.

Thus, you need to restart your mac while holding down keys 3 and 2 at the same time, which will start your Mac in 32-bit. You will then be able to sync your information with Blackberry Desktop Manager. When you restart your mac again, he goes back to 64-bit.

  • I can't update the Smartphones from blackBerry bold 9700 to OS6

    I'm trying to update my bold 9700 OS6, but I can't.

If you really want to update your device, I would say that do you a 'new' OS installation according to the following instructions:

    1. Use Desktop Manager to backup your device.
    2. Close the Desktop Manager and disconnect your device.
    3. Download an application on your computer called BBSAK (BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife). You use it to wipe the operating system of your device. You can get it here: www.bbsak.org
    4. Download the latest OS for your device, you can get here. https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/entry.do?code=9461CCE28EBE3E76FB4B931C35A169B0.------
    5. Connect your device to your PC and start BBSAK. It will ask you a password. If you don't have a game for your device, simply click OK.
    6. Choose the option to wipe device. Once completed, you will be left with a blank screen and an app 507 error, which means that the wipe has been a success.
    7. Unplug your unit.
    8. On your PC, navigate to C:\Program Files\Common research in Motion\AppLoader. Delete the file in the lower part called vendor.xml.
    9. Connect your device.
    10. In this same folder as shown above, there is an executable file called Loader (has a small telephone next to him). Double click on that and it will start loading your OS.

You have to reinstall and 3rd party applications you have, keeping in mind that if you're under OS 5 now, some of your applications may not be not compatible with OS 6, in which case you will also need to update those which in addition to the resettlement.

Please post back and let us know how it goes!
