    Hi @brisl0 ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. Thank you very much for the detailed information on the replacement screen. Here is a list for your page 72 of the manual. Page 70 has the power on that connector. That should be checked as well.

I inspect the motherboard in order to have a crack or damage on it.

    I hope this helps.

  • CHKDSK error after replacing screen

    Hi all

I have an old T60, I am preparing to give to my mother. To get this loan, I have replaced the screen SXGA + dead with a XGA almost nine. Everything went well, the new screen is beautiful and probably better for my mother, since there res more weak and so large icons. However, after that I turned it back on, I continued to get a message at startup saying that one of the disks should be checkd, and he then started very well.

I try to run chkdsk two or three times, and he acted like he had to do, but after a few seconds he said "chkdsk cancelled" and started normally. I went into the BIOS and run the drive test utility, but it doesn't give me any errors or problems, it just say something like "the disk was read" after a few hours.

If this could have something to do with the new screen? If the driver for the old screen is originally a mistake because the new screen is a different resolution?

    Thank you.

    Thank you for your response.

I ended up reinstalling Windows. In this way, it will be a new installation without any problem. No problems so far - the installation went well, and I am just running all the updates. I'll try to run chkdsk once everything is up to date.

I want to thank you for taking the time to answer. Best.

  • Press ID not working after replacement screen

    Hello

Recently, I dropped my phone and cracked my screen, the touch screen no longer works, but the fingerprint was not working.

I managed to take it to the local store (no apple store or authorized dealer). They agreed the phone and asked me if I can provide the access code that I refused to provide. Still, they accepted the phone saying they can fix. A few hours later when I revisited the store that they had replaced the screen and when I checked all the features, I was able to identify that the touch (fingerprint) ID does not work, when I went to the print options settings in the menu of finger contact ID is gray. When I asked they claimed that it is because I could not give the access code that sounded ridiculous.

I stayed in the store, while he was rechecking and since I am available I can also provide the access code when its need. Still, it failed to fix it.
I think they have distorted or damaged the hardware component that is associated with the contact ID.

They probably changed the home button when they replaced the screen (ask them). If it does get them to return the knob to the original House and if they still have it. If they don't have it, or they have damaged this replacement of the screen, you can't use the contact IDS.

  • 3D Issue of the Qosmio F755 - 3d 350 after replacing the screen

Hi, I had a problem with my Toshiba Qosmio F755 3D350 broken LCD screen and I have to replace it with a new screen.

The new screen is the same model: B156HB01 V.0 of electronics AU, who had the original on my laptop screen.

everything works fine resolution, the camera, but when it comes to 3D it doesn't have the Leds on the webcam is not turn on and activate the wiggle stereoscopy.
How do I activate again the 3D or where is the problem?

    Thank you.

    Hello

As far as I know after LCD (screen) or webcam or Exchange/replacement disassembly it s necessary to calibrate the LCD screen 3D sensor chip using special 3D calibration tool.

This calibration can be performed by the Toshiba authorized service provider only!

It seems that you have no choice to contact the ASP in your country to make this 3D calibration.

  • Z3 Replacement screen cost

Everyone has been through the repair process with SONY and able to give me an idea about the cost?

I went through O2 and they quoted me £229, which seems rather excessive.

Hi, I work as a technician in computer SCIENCE-mainly on hardware (desktops / laptops and cell phones)., so I know a little bit about it because I send Sony phones only to an authorized repair shop.  In Norway, it costs about £200 to change the screen on Xperia Z3. This is a workshop authorized repair, and when you break you screen, you basically lose your warranty when this happens. If you choose to use a repair shop authorized, you will keep your warranty. They will also perform a pressure test after replacing the screen to ensure its still water proof, and they're going to change all the tapes and if necessary rubber seals. If you choose to do it yourself, you can easily break something else on the phone and you can not pressure test it. If water gets inside it is not water proof more after you change the screen yourself or someone else, you will lose your warranty. If you then decide to send it to the repair shop, they will know its your fault because they perform a pressure test on the device. If that fails, you will lose your warranty and you have to cover the cost of your auto to fix. I have

It ends by saying that the authorized repair shop do not charge what they want (perhaps the chrages mechanics will do) because that first they use only original spare parts and the cost is the standard price on the strong, and of course, this must be approved by Sony. Just so you all know.

  • HP a1250n, radeon xpress 200 question after replacing the CPU, Standard VGA Graphics goes not down

Recently, I messed up my CPU and bought a replacement (exact same kind). I am running windows 7 ultimate and for about 6 months prerequisites with no problems. After replacing the CPU I get intermittent lock ups, sometimes with a small portion of the screen flashes. I say intermittent but at least every 15-20 minutes. Different programs, different habits, but still the screen freezes.

I went in and deleted the driver under graphics cards, pick a 'completely remove the option' - it after restarting the system on its own charged for a Standard VGA Graphics Adapter and since there is then no more accidents. Of course the functionality is not as complete, large icons and such, but it works.

If it certainly seems to point to a driver conflict I think. But for this machine, is there ever any single Vista Windows 7 driver. My skills are not so, but I'm moving.

    Any guidance?

  • Replacement screen for B460

    Hello

I own a laptop Lenovo B460 (model No. 24007). I am looking for a replacement of the screen for the same. The specifications are:

    14 '' HD LED Glare

Also, after some research it seems to be a widescreen (16:9 aspect ratio) and 1366 x 768 pixels with LED backlight. I talked to the service centers in my area, and none of them seem to have the screen required. That's why I'm exploring an alternative that is mentioned below:

    http://www.gadgets.in/Samsung-14-in-LED-backlight-LCD-screen.html#

The specs seem to be the same. This means that it can serve the purpose? The LCD connector will have the same PIN connections or is there a possibility of incompatibility?

    Please advise.

    Thank you.

  • Replacement screen does not not on the DV7 6c66nr

    Hello

My two year old pulled our laptop on the table. The screen began to show strange colors, glitter and is inconsistent. When the connection to external monitor of the image is very good, so I decided to buy a replacement screen. By the back of the original lcd screen replacement part number is 666396-001.

I installed the new lcd. When the laptop start led turns on but there is no picture displayed on the screen. After a lot of research and trial and error, I decided that the screen (an LG) replacement was defective. The screen went back and bought another from a different source.  Same result, led lights but no picture.

If I reinstall the damaged original screen image is visible even though distorted.  Once again, external video displays correctly. This leads me to believe that the GPU and the cable are intact.  Apparently, I ordered the correct replacement part based on the number and specifications of the screen.

    So what don't understand me?

Thanks in advance for your ideas.

    Hey @Kreeper ,

Thank you for the additional information if this next screen does not resolve the problem you. I would like to replace the display cable Kit 665594-001, because that could be your problem all along.

    Thank you.

  • Windows will not start after replacing the motherboard

To begin, I must say that I am pretty clueless when it comes to computer skills.

To summarize, I sent my CPU to a repair shop when my computer has stopped working. I removed my hard drive before starting the repairs because it contains confidential data.  They have narrowed the cause to a faulty motherboard and replaced by a new dissimilar.
At the store, the guy had a vista 64 bit recovery disc so I have it home and tried to fix it. He said it will be a breeze and relatively bug free. As part of the Startup Repair, I tried to drive the Startup Repair, and tests were all successful except one. An error of diagnosis readings
"Unspecified system configuration changes may have caused the problem.
Repair action: repair and checking the integrity of system files
    Result: failed. Error code 0 x 490
    time taken = 720023 ms
Everything I've done has led to a brief blue screen to the Windows loading screen and then it restarts itself.
I also tried to restore to the previous two points, but it has also led to the square - a brief blue screen after the loading screen and restarts on its own windows. I'm not ready to reinstall vista and I can't afford to do it too, because I don't have enough disk space to perform another installation. Nor am I willing to reformat one of my two disks.
If you need additional information on the specifications of the material that must be provided, ask me.
IM at my end intelligence now, and I really hope to solve this problem.
    Thank you.

    Hello

I'm sorry, but you have to completely reinstall the operating system after replacing the motherboard with a different motherboard.

"Startup Repair" is exactly that: a start NOT a repair system repairs

What has happened, it is the operating system on your hard disk contains the drivers for the old motherboard and does not and you can't change drivers in doing what you do.

The only way to solve this problem is to reinstall Vista.

You wipe the hard drive and restart and make sure that the repair shop gave you the disc to install the new drivers of motherboard after you reinstall vista or download on the website of the manufacturer of the motherboard.

And here a question for you to consider, too.

If you bought a copy of Vista retail yourself, you can use the method above to a new installation and then install the new disk motherboard drivers.

But, if your computer is a trademark of purchased manufacturer, HP, Toshiba, etc., you can not change the motherboard that the license of Vista OEM is stuck at motherboard the origin of the manufacturer that it has been installed on and now you canceled your Vista license.

    See you soon.

  • Replace screen green Mocha & follow-up with perspective problem

    So I have these images;

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/tqtfcg5m7rw35wd/phone%203.m4v?DL=0

    1. which requires the phone to be tracked and replaced the screen. I am familiar with mocha AE and can easy follow up but lose track completely when the phone is off the hook in the beginning and when the top left of the phone turns off the screen. No idea how I can solve this problem of follow-up? I have actually some more shots like that have the perspective and thumb-finger obscuring the phone, so none of the shots are very frank. I can't find any tutorials on the topic in depth.

2 I used Keylight for touch on the green screen (workflow; Color touch - switch to the status display, black clip adjusts the gain of the screen, white clip) but I had to cut the white as the images on the guys hand now dances autour, as is the noise. That is almost like the layer's mode "dissolve the dance." Well, I guess it's because I cut so white... A few tips on this would help me lot too!

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you!!

I took your film and brought in After Effects.  He was very small, so I doubled the size of the model, and then added some exposure compensation and detail preserving high-end to give me more pixels to work with. I then exported a sequence of images to use in Mocha. The sequence of images was imported from AE and a new created model which corresponded to it. I selected Track in mocha.

After analyzing the images, I realized that I had problems in the first few pictures because of the motion blur and depth of field. There is a black bar at the top and bottom of your film and which would also cause a problem. The solution is to create a spline X first to act as a grip on the tracker.  The second step was to create a set of X grooves on a new layer covering the sides, top and bottom of the phone. I started on a frame that shows most of the phones. The layer was on top, the tracker below layer. I followed with interest, then repositioned the CTI for the start of the track and followed back until the track began to fall apart.   Backup of the last tract good framework I have change to set track and completed manually tracing. It took only about to keyframes. Then I adjusted the surface and refined the track using the 16 x 16 in a super grid.  The track was closed and I've added a new X spline to use as a Roto for the thumb. I have isolated the part of the thumb covering the screen only.  The layer of Roto was locked to the track and then adjusted and fringes of edge has been applied.

When this was complete I first exported mocha for the layer of Roto shape data.  Back in AE I duplicated the layer of film and pasted Mocha shape data to the copy that gave me a perfectly hidden copy of the thumb.

The last step was to take the replacement screen image and add to the timeline and then secure the composition and then before dialing. Back to mocha, I copied code confidential from corner of the layer and glued to the replacement screen demo data.  By arranging the layers with the original film on the bottom, replacing the following screen and thumb on top of the implementation of the composite for final adjustments. Setting of the motion blur and focus on the replacement of the screen to complete the project. Total duration of approximately 15 minutes.

Your film would, in fact, a good tutorial because of his problems. With your permission, if the sequence is yours, I will when I have time. The point is that you should analyze your film and then decide on the best technique to achieve your goal. Same horrible images can be used. You must analyze the images and then decide the best technique to achieve your goal. Any film can be tracked manually in a reasonable amount of time using the proper technique. He really successfully complete your film was enough to improve the contrast and exposure to follow up and do a bit of work by hand.

I think you should check in the Device Manager, the primary and secondary IDE channels.
The transfer mode must be on DMA if available and the type of automatic detection device

2.), it seems the ' apdproxy.exe is a part of the Adobe Photoshop or a similar application.
