Spool print not that does not exist

Hello

I have this problem with the coil of printing in Windows 8 Pro Services. This service does not exist in the services. How can I get it back? I can not install anything related to printers without it.
PS: the problem is that he is not arrested, but there was none.
My best regards.
Rafik

Hi Rapheek,

Thanks for joining us again.

You must copy and paste all the commands written in "BOLD" from the previous post on a Notepad and name the file as spooler.reg and save it to the desktop. Then double-click to run the file. This would create the print spooler service.

Let us know the status of the issue.

  • Print spooler does not exist

I don't know if I am posting this in the right forum, but here's the question.

My parents have a system of 64-bit operating computer laptop ADVENT. I tried to install a new printer (a Canon MG4150) but an error message appears saying that the print spooler must be started. I typed 'services' in the start menu, but when the list of services 'Print spooler' is not listed, then I can't of course it starts. Any suggestions?

    Elizabeth

Go to the control panel and center of the Action, click on troublehooter and run the printer troubleshooter.

In addition, run a full scan of the system with:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    And update your Windows.

  • Cannot install the printer. The print processor does not exist.

Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit.  I am able to install HP LaserJet printers but no virtual printer.  I can not load the XPS from Windows printer or Print to OneNote.  I also tried to load more than one PDF printer and none of them work.  The error I keep gettig to "cannot install the printer.  The print processor does not exist. »

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

My laptop has been reloaded from a picture, and I was not able to start the print spooler at all. I have studied the issue and cleaned files and registry entries and was able to print on real printers, but not virtual. That's when I asked the question.

Finished reimage the computer again, and once again, I could not start the print service. We discovered that the image that the laptop was built from was actually a VMWare virtual machine, so we started to look in that direction.   We had to delete the following entry in the registry and rebooting, how the print spooler began to work very well.

[Print HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\ThinPrint for VMWare Port Monitor]

You wanted to post this in case someone else ran into a similar problem.

This is what worked for me.

I copy the files from the print processor from another machine to work with the same architecture as the one who has the problem (x 86 or x 64).

Step 1: Stop the print spooler service.

Step 2: Copy all the files and folders on the system to work under C:\Windows\System32\spool\prtprocs\x64.

Step 3: Make a backup of the system files listed in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\prtprocs\x64 problem.

Step 4: Paste the files that you copy from the system of work in the case of the United Nations, the problem system.

Step 5: Start the print spooler service.

Try to connect or install your net printer and it should work now.

I hope this work for all of you.

  • Force the print to stop/restart spooler service when it does not

Our office has a HP plotter, where the driver (note that we have the latest version, directly from the HP site) seems to cause the print spooler service becomes out of order sometimes.  In turn of the programs (including AutoCAD and Outlook) to lock, as well as windows, as the dialog box, which causes devices and printers.

If I restart the 'Services' print spooler service in computer management, it goes back to work at least some time - if at least I can work around the problem.  It is important to note however, that even by using this method, it throws a dialog box error saying that the service failed.  But since this is a question with all facilities of this liner installed with Vista, I need to have a method easier to use of the service is restarted.

I wrote a file .bat base with a net stop spooler command followed by a net start spooler command, but the problem is that, unlike with computer management, net stop does not seem to force the service to shut down if it does not, and I can't find a way to force the stop command.

Is there a tool more powerful/switch available that I could script so that users can easily stop and restart the spooler service when it does not?

    Thank you

    Hello

You can run the printer troubleshooter. Convenience store solves some common printing problems.

If your computer has problems printing, try using the printer Troubleshooter to solve the problem. He made sure that a printer is connected to your computer, and it checks for common issues such as whether the printer has enough paper and toner to complete printing your document.

Open the printer Troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting. Under hardware and sound, click on use printer.
