  For the last year my HP Pavilion dv5237cl turned off because of the fan does not work.  I have never seen the term "Thermal event" displayed prior to or on restart.  Usually just abruptly, he died.   I also saw a few BSOD that are not very descriptive to pointing to what the cause was and may be not related.  The laptop usually just stops working and goes out, maybe once every couple of days if it is caught in time.  I HAV been using a Defragmenter memory to help as appropriate the BSOD were due to low memory resources.  I am tracking the temperature of the CPU and have noticed that it is high, when the fan is not working.  I saw up to 85 C and I'm not sure but think that the laptop stops at 100 ° C.  The fan is usually always go at least to a low hum.  Usually, on startup, I get a strong burst of activity fan and if this isn't the case I'm clued in to a fan, not to exploit the condition.

  If I take a PIN regularly and carefully stitch it through the opening in the fan and cause rotate the blades of the fan, the fan will usually start working.  It sometimes takes a few tries.  I noticed the fan poll as it is sometimes wobbling and resembling a noise of ball bearing, but I think it is also maybe a hinged fan.  Some hopping may be due to the time that I used the pin code.  Fan usually settled in a low purr and lately with some ball light bering sound, maybe just wobble.  If I'm not there when the fan stops working or do not notice to try to remedy with a PIN, then the laptop stops due to excessive heat.

  Things I've tried or thought of trying:

  -J' I used canned and out air / blow accumulated debri from inside the vacuum cleaner to suck up and cleaned the vents.

  -J' I add the cooler that keeps time less around 5 c.  The laptop temperature was 55 to 62 C this winter.

  -Install the latest drivers and BIOS.

  -Tried to use Windows 8.

  -J' bought a replacement fan but did not want to disassemble the laptop to install it and also not be

  not know if it is really a material fan or a control sensor or other hardware problem or software problem.

  I understand that your laptop stops due to overheating.

  Given the behavior and how the fan no longer works and must be "started" once again, this does not sound like a fan failure.  Page 5-60 of this guide details the process of replacing the fan and the heatsink in Notepad.  If this is something you'd rather not do it yourself, you could contact a local PC shop for the fan and the heat sink replaced.

  Is the system still under warranty?

  The heat event is caused by overheating.  Sensors are detecting high temperatures inside the computer case and cripple the system to avoid damage.  To solve the problem check that none of the air holes outdoor are block, there is sufficient space around the air circulation system and that all the cooling fans are working.  If this does not resolve the problem then it would be a good idea to open the suitcase and see if dust has not accumulated thus blocking the air flow. In fact, if the machine has been used for a while or used in a dusty environment, it wouldn't hurt to give the Interior a cleaning anyway.  Most of the computers and the Office supply houses shops sell cans of compressed air for a job.

  Start your computer with a minimal set of basic devices as the mouse and keyboard and check if you can successfully start.

  Try disabling the sound card and video adapter network adapter etc. of Basic Input/Output system (BIOS) and check.

  Consult the manual or contact the manufacturer to do the same.

  NOTE: Changing the BIOS / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from configuration can resolved BIOS/CMOS settings. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

  This is my first attempt at an interactive chart with flash professional.

  Work on a Mac (OS 10.8.5), Flash Proefessional CC.

  I created 6 frames, and I'm ready to start the animation. I want users to be able to click on one of the 5 buttons on the first image, this will lead to a corresponding frame that contains a bunch of buttons that link to external sites. Each of these images, there is also a button that links users to the first image.

  This should be very simple.

  I went through the infrastructure code, and what is happening here, is that they have not
  include code to run the effect if the CollectionEventKind =
  CollectionEventKind.REFRESH. What is the code that you found trying to do is to
  generate a bunch of delete and add events instead.

  You can try to simply extend TileList and replace the protected function
  collectionChangeHander to add a call to prepareDataEffect after calling
  super.collectionChangeHander (event) if CollectionEventKind =
  CollectionEventKind.REFRESH. you can find well there's a reason why they
  left it in this case if you make this change.

  You can also try to create a ListCollectionView that you point to another
  ListCollectionView and try to trigger reset. Something like:

  sourceListCollectionView.filterFunction = please
  sourceListCollectionView.refresh ();
  dataProviderListCollectionView = sourceListCollectionView;

  You can also try the ListCollectionView source filtering instead of
  ListCollectionView itself (for example, Array has a filter method. You
  could create a table that contains the entire data source and keep
  building of new arrays with elements filtered into them and reset of the
  source of ListCollectionView. This will certainly trigger a reset on
  the TileList.

  Hi David,

  Everything that hinders the free movement of air across the processor HEAT SINK cooling will have the effect you describe. The problem is that dust can not be seen by looking at the fan grids because she has built up inside the unit. The easy way to remove it is to use a vacuum cleaner hose from the cleaner to the grids of aspiration air (using a piece of cloth to maximize suction). This should make the fans running at very high speed and can produce a WAD of debris inside the grids you'll need to choose carefully.

  To be really complete, you need to remove the radiator cover (adjacent to the grids of aspiration and locked by two "torx" screws). With the cover removed, you will be able to see the heat sink itself fixed by four Phillips head screws (two on each side), delete them and remove the heat sink. Note that it will stick to the CPU because of thermal paste used during Assembly. DO NOT REMOVE THE DOUGH. Once the heatsink is removed, you will be able to see an accumulation of debris.

  Reassembly is the reverse of the uninstall, but note sequence on the heat sink numbers, so that you can tighten the screws in the correct order.

  But, more important even than Lynn and other people mentioned, you have a big problem with your implementation of design.  My previous example was to show how builds to a state machine can be made clean/nice/efficient/etc.  I have two monitors 30 "on my Mac, and your block diagram extends as well in my second monitor! :-)  (I'm a bit of a clean freak so I like things to look nice and son arranged properly / in straight lines, wireless useless intersection/etc - anything that makes it easier for yourself and others to see the drawing).

  Sorry, back to the basics - you should definitely follow the advice of Lynn on the use of model of consumers/producers (events) - a simple start would be to separate your structure events in its own while loop that runs parallel to your line up.  With this, at least you run structure of events at regular intervals.  Another strong advice is to simplify your design so that you do not use nested (another inside) design of State machine. I have several decades of experience in LabVIEW and yet I stay away from this kind of complication, because it only causes more problems that you grow your design. Why not just add more cases to your state machine design existing rather than adding a nested state machine structure inside?
