stop printing and releases then paper

I have a HP Officejet 4500 - 510 a. fact not matter if I try to print the PDF or a Word document, the printer will start printing, and then freezes.  Sometimes it will display a little more and then stop again and after a long time, it will reject the paper.

Then, it will start to try to print again and does the same thing.  I have to manually cancel all documents to get it to quit smoking. In addition, once it starts to try to print the led starts to Flash. I ran doctor Scan and completely uninstalled and reinstalled - twice and still get the same problem.  This time it's worse now.  I even ran into Command Prompt: sfc/scannow and it doesn't show anything wrong as doctor Scan shows nothing wrong.  What else can I do to fix this problem?

I tried all your suggestions and always had problems.  But I left just as you suggest and uninstalled Forxit Reader (a replacement for Adobe) and tried to print 7 copies from a PDF file.  They are all printed.  Assumed it was my problem all along. I will keep you informed how be it changes.

Thank you very much for your help!

  • HP printer Envy 4500 does not share print and else, says paper jam

Just bought HP Envy printer 4500 which is supposed to print on both sides.  I put a copy of a document of two faces in the place where the document is supposed to copy.  I put the function copy, black ink, 2 Facer.     Then, I pressed 'start' and a copy out of feeder.  When I pressed on the two long side once again I get the message 'paper jammed' I called HP and Best Buy and nobody can help you.  HP support says paper I use is the cause.   Excuse me, but this is a multipurpose with 96 bright paper, 20 lb.   Best Buy tech told the paper or the paper type has nothing to do with anything.    I wanted to only two printed sides to save paper, but I can't live without this feature.

But, for the record, I learned the machine is faulty by Best Buy and return.   I don't think it's paper or defective.   What do I do and where can I find the explicit directions to copy both sides of the paper.  No computer!

    Hello

    The procedure:

    • Press copy,
    • Touch 2 faces
    • Touch black or color

Now the printer says «face...» "It will copy the first page, do not remove paper.

    • Turn the paper on to the second page (or put the second page on the glass).
    • Press ok

It will copy the second page.

    Kind regards.

  • HP envy 4507: pipeline of filters stop printing and closes

    Hello

having only bought my printer yesterday ive been using it does not this morning that now he stopped to tell the filter pipeline host and close.

can someone please. I am based on windows vista.

I am not that technically minded so would appreciate simple instructions please

    Thank you

Hello @vicki79 and welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see that you receive errors of pipeline.  I'd be happy to try to help!

I would recommend starting with a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I recommend also to download and run the HP print and Scan doctor.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • HP Officejet J6450 (Windows 7 64-bit) - page Test prints and everything is paper jam

    All,

My Officejet J6450(All in one) was working fine and all of a sudden started showing paper jam. In fact, there is no paper jam, and the "Print Test page" print just fine. If you try to print something other than "print a test page", I hear the sound of rolling paper, the print head moves to print, then a pause and here is the error msg 'Paper jam' tried all the utilities and power off / on etc, but always the same result.

    Help, please.

    Hello

Thanks for your reply and I solve the problem last night.

The problem was updated spooler settings the: sort options changed to "print directly to the printer" and disabled the queue. I changed it to winding and everything works fine now.

  • Photosmart 7510: HP 7510 abruptly stopped printing and now think all inks are running low

Printer worked very well.  I went to Staples and wanted to buy a black ink cartridge.  Open printer to check what number I needed.  Found it was 564.  Just before leaving for the store, I opened the printer to make sure I had the right number.  Closed quickly as the ink head always moved in position to read.  I had seen the number and does not need to wait for the head to come to rest.

But now the printer does not print.  A text document comes out of the Virgin.  When I print a report of State printer, in the middle of an 8½ X 11 sheet, all I get are little black brackets with small touches of color in their.  Nothing else on the page at all.  When I print a report from print quality I get some don't color, virtually no black... even though I have a few minutes he put in a new black ink cartridge.  I got indications that he thinks that all inks should be replaced.  They all missed the moment?  No, no, no.  The device seems totally confused.  What the hell happened?

I tried to clean the cartridges and turn the machine on/off.

Well, my HP printer did the same thing. I bought a brother.

  • Office JetPro 8500 has stopped printing and copying

This printer wireless installed has been working for more than a year. Now it won't print from my computer or copy of the device.

I send a print job to it and "print now" appears in the message window, but nothing happens, no error message on the printer (printing error on the printing on the sending computer state). When I try to copy it directly from the printer, I get a message "" now"copy" in the window of the printer, but nothing past so is. Printer window messages remain until I have Cancel.

I installed the latest HP Web site driver package.

It seems that the printer has become hung up, most likely in the internal software.

I would like to reset this printer:
    * Unplug the power from the back of the printer while the power is on
Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall jack directly
    * Wait 30 seconds - 1 minute
    * Plug the unit back to

Let me know if this becomes the unit upwards and will.

  • Printers HP 8500 stopped printing

I use Mac Book Pro with current OS (10.6.6) software to print wireless. The printer has stopped printing and scanning. (It works well and just started to act up today.) Obviously I did something that caused the problem but I don't know what.)

It seems to be properly installed. When I send to complete a print job seems to accept the work it shows that 1% then closes in response.

I tried to completely uninstall the printer and all HP - including the scan software software.  I did a software update from Apple and no update has been found/necessary. Still no printing/scanning.

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

  • printer pro 8600 - 2 trays stops printing all nite at 19:00 error not connected printer States

My pro HP8600 printer has malfunctioned since new right out of the box. HP has been unable to provide the solution. Every evening at 19:00 the printer stop printing and won't return until I restart my PC/laptop. I have a HP 4100 on USB printer that works very well. The 8600 will be fax and copy, but won't scan or print emails or documents. Error state the printer will automatically disengage when it is not. I restarted the printer, but it does not help. All the tests I did on the network IP address of departure etc. PC is running XP

Okay, I think it's a XP bug that exposes HP software. See the following link for more information:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03149924

Also, even though it is not stated in the article, putting to Vista or 7 would also "resolve" the issue.
