Stuck at 100% CPU

MS 7093 Motherboard
XFX Radeon HD 4350 1 GB graphics card
1.5 GB OF RAM

I have a HP Pavilion a1130n series machine that I'm trying to revitalize. The plan was to upgrade to Windows 7, download the two monitors and max on the memory to 4 GB.

I have installed Windows 7 family, on a clean place, reformatted the drive with the installed Radeon XFX graphics card and the PCI-E slot by default BIOS. Everything fine Nigerian that it ends and I connect on find the doped between 85 and 100% CPU. Most often 100% than anything else.

I tried to disable audio components integrated network card. I deleted all other cards except the graphics card.

I watched the resource monitor and noticed that the CPU is at almost 100 on "SystemInterrupts", which based on the research I've done seems as if it might be important, but I don't eally that average, but thought I would mention it.

I have rebuilt the computer over 3 times reformat the drive each time that to be sure that I don't have any residual effect. Nothing else installed on the computer.

I'm at a complete loss as a cause of this problem. When I look at Performance tab in the Task Manager is not an application the memory of fortification... sometimes it is the system idle process.

Very confused and anxious for any help somone m could offer.

First of all, I suggest you to update the BIOS by contacting the manufacturer of the system.

WARNING:

In this case, if the problem persists, then I you suggested to initialize at startup, check if it helps you and please let us know the status of this issue.

1. reboot your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.

2 select Safe Mode when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and then press ENTER.

    Given that I have improved my RN102 to 6.4.0 last night I often struggle to reach the admin interface, and my laptop was reported not being able to join Time Machine.

    When I connect by ssh and use 'top', I see that btrfs-cleaner is stuck at 100% CPU. This can last up to 10 minutes at a time. I only installed about 12 hours ago, and the process of btrfs-cleaner has already more than 85 minutes of CPU time, which is 20 times more than the process of the second long, readynasd which is 4 minutes.

    After a while, btrfs-cleaner falls to 0% CPU and I can access the NAS normally.

    My question: is it normal to have this excessive load of btrfs-cleaner so frequently? Y at - it no configuration setting which affect this behavior. I never noticed this problem under the previous version 6.2.5.

    Where it's important, my NAS is equipped with 2 x 4 TB drives in a RAID0 configuration with 40% in use.

    It seems that I found a way to get rid of hanging btrfs-cleaning: after turning off the quota

    Btrfs quota disable/data

    Btrfs-cleaner never appear again (top).

    (After startup, I've usually had a minute to publish the command before btrfs-cleaner spawn and prevented the command answer.)

    I did not intentionally quota - I guess that it is enabled by default.

    PS: Maybe the problem is known by Netgear - in their 'FAQ on recent firmware 6.4.0' (see the link at the top of the page) we are talking about «...» "This is probably due to the ReadyNAS was conducting an audit of quota.

    Some sites also describe problems with quota and btrfs (forum Rockstor), other sites quoting quota support in experimental btrfs (but these may be updated).

    I did some tests deepened after diabling quota like that--I'm happy that I have can see my files again...

    You may have a corrupted the Launch Services database.

    To reset the database:

    (1) triple - click anywhere in the following line (it's a very long line) to select; Press command-C to copy

    Ework/support/lsregister /system/library/frameworks/CoreServices.framework/frameworks/LaunchServices.fram - kill - r-domain local - domain-domain user system; Killall Dock

    (2) press open Terminal, on command-V to paste, press ENTER to execute the command

    (3) restart your mac.

    I'm having a problem with the automatic updates. I am running Windows XP, SP3.
    Shortly after starting, my PC go slowly, and in Manager task, I see a 100% CPU running svchost. After some tests, I saw that disable updates automatic fix the problem. There is no error in windowsupdate.log. When I try manual updates on Windows Update, the PC stays on a page looking for updates.
    Is there a solution?

    There is a utility called BatteryInfoView that might help diagnose the problem. Give it a try and see if it shows the real situation of the battery. If it also always displays 100% then you probably have a hardware problem and need to contact Acer support. Let us know how it comes out.
