  Windows 8 computers have a bios "UEFI" and so will come with "Secure Boot" as well as "UEFI" only start enabled. Disable secure boot if you do not have and choose start to the "legacy" methods The problem is most likely that the image of Windows 7 which has been engraved on the USB key was burned using an instead of a TPG one MBR partition scheme.   I need a little help, my new Acer 8 tried windows computer to install updates that I allowed him to do, but for the last 13 hours, he is stuck on Please wait, I followed some instructions through this community but none worked, I can't get it in safe mode and I don't have a backup of Windows 8 cd to start from.
  I contacted Acer because my computer is still under warranty, their solution is to send through their but I'll be with a computer for 7 to 10 working days, it would be nice if I didn't have access to the information as soon as POSSIBLE.
  Anyone can help on how I can access my computer without referring to Acer.

• Tecra S3 - new SSD stuck on JBOD, cannot install windows on it

  I had a similar problem with my TECRA S3.
  I tried to update the HARD drive on the computer.
  It was equipped w/one 100 GB SATA drive at 5400 RPM.
  I wanted to install a 7200 RPM 320 GB SATA drive.
  I didn't know that there will be a problem since they were the two SATA drives.
  I bought a DISC CLONING equipment (that came with the software).
  The new drive is a WD drive & package cloning worked as announced.
  When I removed the 100 GB & replaced with the 320 GB drive, I received the fatal BSOD.
  I got the latest version of the BIOS on the computer, as shown in the download TOSHIBA site.
  I also had (or thought) I had the latest drivers RAID as indicated on the TOSHIBA download site.
  After some additional testing, I determined that the problem was not with the BIOS.
  It appeared that the BIOS recognizes the drive. I had loaded a different image to the new disk
  & was able to try a race from safe MODE. When I saw that he was the new drive of reading & later, crashing
  I was convinced that it was some kind of WINDOWS driver.
  What I found later was that TOSHIBA listed a list updated of the RAID for VISTA driver.
  I downloaded & opens this file.
  I found a FILE in the list of VISTA that has the same name as the RAID to the Windows XP driver.
  By an FC on two records, I could tell they were different.
  I have re-cloned the new drive. Once he was done, I crushed the file on the CLONED disk. I used the VISTA
  driver in the Windows XP Directory.
  After that, I installed the new drive & WINDOWSXP come & operated as expected.
  In addition, after that WINDOWS came, he ran the "NEW HARDWARE DETECTED" deal, which let him complete, so.
  The file that I changed was the: c:\windows\system32\KR1OI.sys.
  You can look at this file: PANEL---> EQUIPMENT---> the DEVICES MANAGER---> SCSI & RAID CONTROLLERS.

  If you download the file for the RAID DRIVERS for VISTA, you will see that it is an EXE file. It is a self-expanding ZIP file. When run you it, you will see the file in there.

  I just got myself a Kingston V series 64 GB SSD drive, but I can't it is detected by windows installation programs.
  After looking around, I found that the Tecra S3 drives must be "1RAID 0" and not JBOD to activate windows to
  be installed on it. (unless you use the recovery CD, which I did not right now, even if I wanted to use it)

  I also found the "collar" necessary to get the BIOS to change when you get to 'run the creation '.
  is 1,2,3,4, [Enter].

  But here's the catch: + BIOS does not account for the string... +.
  I type the string, 1234, [Enter], and it cancels my desired, change as if I said NO and set it to JBOD.
  (if I don't type the string on the right, it comes out, but stays 1raid0 and "run the creation" is still there)
  I tried on one of my other drives and it worked fine, but for some reason this drive seems not wanting me to.

  I tried the USB drive (works fine) and the BIOS sees it for what it is, so that the drive works well (from my tests)

  Would be really appreciated any ideas on what to do now, I'm out of ideas on what I did not properly

  Have you included the RAID driver in Windows before you tried to reinstall the OS?
  On the European driver Toshiba page, you can find the RAID driver to be included when installing Windows installation.

  Regarding the change in BIOS RAID;
  I m not very good, but it might be possible that you cannot change the reason the SSD RAID option.
  If other drives are working properly and that the RAID may be changed using a common HARD disk the problem is related to the new SSD drive.

  Maybe you need to update the firmware on the SSD drive to check it out.

  First of all, when you run the movie in Flash (the Publisher) itself, then the animations will not work. 'Enter' will be displayed without animation. You must export the movie (CTRL + enter) or menu: control > test movie. If this is not the cause of the problem, how many images does your film? How many pictures does the layer where you put the animation on? Try to add enough frames. Use a new layer without keyframes and use it for all the animations that should loop. If these animations should run asynchronous, then add a layer for each animation and let them from a keyframe.

  What looks like the alignment sheet?

  Missing colors?

  I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.

  • Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.
