• Dynadock U3 - Ethernet does not - send/receive flashing every 3 seconds

  My wife uses a Dynadock with a spectrum of XP.
  Ethernet worked fine when I first put in place, but I just noticed the wired connection does not work (only works with wireless).

  Send & receive lights on n/w Dynadock port flash every ~ 3 seconds, the Windows port & alternate state between Enabled & cable disconnected.

  Not sure how long the wired connection has not worked, but my scale did spend a couple of months to Win 8.1. At the time I had upgrade the drivers to get the video via the Dynabook work. I checked & Win network drivers have been also upgraded in this framework.

  Have seen a few other posts on uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers (done) & case where the icon network in the device driver has a warning '?' (says "device is working properly" in my case).

  Recommendations, or suggestions for a further diagnosis?

  In my view, the question appears due to the update system 8.1 Win.
  You will need configure the network in the network adapter properties:
  To connect to the network via an Ethernet network cable, connect one end of a network
  cable to the Ethernet (RJ-45) the dynadock port and the other end to your network for the great
  performance of network access.

  To set the properties of the network to the Ethernet adapter:
  8.1 Windows, move the mouse pointer and click the icon at the bottom left of the screen to go to the
  Apps for display and then click on Control Panel-> network and Internet-> tasks-> change map settings and display the status of network.

  In the network connections folder, double-click the icon of the s dynadock Ethernet adapter connection.
  which is indicated by dynadock Ethernet. This will open the local area network connection properties window for you
  Configure network settings as required depending on your network environment.

  Note: The icon to connect to the Local network in the system tray/Notification area does not show a connection. Open network connections to display the Ethernet connection.

  try reinstalling power management, the default settings of the bios and also try this:

  Right click on my computer > manage > device management > network cards > select ethernet adapter > properties > under power management tab, clear the check box to be able to save "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

  Restart your computer and check if it works.

• problem with Boot Camp, VMware Fusion 3, ethernet does not (not driver)

  I have Windows 7 Pro 64 bit installed in Boot Camp and I'm running as a virtual machine using VMware Fusion OSX 10.6.6 3.1.2.

  The problem I have is that the ethernet does not work under VMware, even with VMware Tools installed.  Device Manager shows no driver installed.

  I googled and found a lot of suggestions to add ethernet0.virtualDEV = "e1000" to the simultaneous file, but I looked and this line is already there.

  I tried reinstalling VMware, VMware Tools, the Boot Camp drivers, NIC Add/Remove VMware settings, change NAT to the deck and vice versa. Nothing works.

  Any suggestions?

  The CARD is an Intel PRO 1000 MT and uses the E1G6032E.sys driver that is located in the:

  C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nete1g3e.inf_amd64_neutral_7f08406e40c6ede2

  You will need to copy the 3 files to a temporary folder or on the desktop to be able to access it from the device for a manual installation manager.

  You can go back and enable this setting. I assumed that you had installed the drivers.

  LAN save mode power turns off your wired ethernet card to save battery when it is not connected to an ethernet cable.

  People get alarmed when they don't see the wired ethernet controller, which is listed in Device Manager when there is no cable connected, and they think their wired network adapter is defective.

  When you disable the LAN power save setting, always wired ethernet controller is on and remains visible in the Device Manager if a cable is connected.

  My ATV4 has played since a week or so, whenever I wake up to play Netflix or something like that has no internet connection.   If I understand your question your Apple TV (4th generation) is having some problems stay connected to internet when connected via ethernet, but no problems when connected via Wi - Fi. I also see that you have made some amazing troubleshooting already, including restoring with iTunes.

• X 51 R2 Ethernet does not not after update to the last W10

  So my Windows 10 upgrade works really well, but after the update (may be a coincidence) the Ethernet port no longer works.

  If I go to Device Manager there is no warning. I did the W10 check for update of the driver but there was nothing.

  I swapped autour cables with my Smart TV and he is always able to access the internet, so it is not the cable or switch.

  I booted up a Live Ubuntu disc and it has been able to access the Internet by Ethernet so I guess this isn't a hardware problem.

  I rolled back to Windows 8.1 and it still does not work, so at this point, I guess the update knocked out using some driver Ethernet the X 51.

  I do not have any third-party antivirus installed, just everything what comes with Windows 8.1/10.

  Well duh. When I got to Windows 8.1 I don't check the Device Manager. Of course after the deactivation and reactivation of the Ethernet card it works.
