Hello

Please use the page 54 of the following book:

Note: The manual implies that would be guaranteed to be cancelled because this work is intended for authorized service provider parts only. I don't know why he must remove the battery to use AC Baterries and chargers are now smarter than you think they know when to stop the load.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L510 and find the battery moves a bit - like 2mm so be it.
It is on the edge of the laptop, I suppose, but I was wondering if there should be no movement at all?

    Hello

On my two laptops from Toshiba battery cannot be moved, but the battery is locked and cannot be moved or deleted.
Your laptop satellite battery is too locked?

By the way: when you use the notebook on the desk, this movement is irrelevant and cannot have a negative influence on the power supply for computer laptop battery s.

  • Laptop of HP 2000: battery problems

I recently had to buy a new charger and battery for my laptop that worked very well in the beginning, no problems until a few days ago.
I rebooted and scanned as well as under the tension of the battery with a friends just to see if it was a problem with my laptop, but it's not, it's the battery. My new battery. It will charge up, but no longer than don't not 40% before it simply said "plugged in, do not load.
I'm not sure what to try, or if the battery is just messed up and there is nothing I can do about it.

    Hi @Banedom,

Thanks for getting back to me. Based on the results of the calibration tests, it seems that the battery has a sort of failure.

If you want to replace the battery, make sure that you use the correct replacement for your laptop battery you can find compatible parts here.

  • HP Envy 13 laptop: Bluetooth doesn't work is not on the HP Envy 13 laptop

    Good afternoon

I recently bought a laptop from HP Envy 13-d004a and could not get working Bluetooth.

Without wireless/bluetooth adapter is an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265.

Bluetooth is not listed in the page menu settings/Windows device.

There is no Bluetooth device listed in Device Manager.

There is an unknown USB device (device descriptor request failed) listed under Bus USB controllers I think it is perhaps related to the problem. The State of this poster features 43 code.

So far, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the USB devices and update drivers for USB devices. However, the USB device is unknown, with a warning on the icon symbol.

I also downloaded the latest Intel Bluetooth driver update utility. When I run the installer, or the repair, I get the message

"Intel Bluetooth Service (ibtsiva.exe) could not be installed. Make sure you have sufficient privileges. ». I am connected with administrator privileges when I run the installation program.

So far all my attempts to solve the problem of Bluetooth failed, would be more appreciated all the help I get.

    Thank you

    John

Bluetooth problem has now been resolved on my HP Envy 13-d004na notebook.

Tonight a Synaptics SMBus driver has been downloaded and installed via Windows Update.

After the installation of this driver, I restarted the computer.

After restarting Bluetooth appeared in Device Manager and peripheral USB unknown displayed previously had disappeared from the Device Manager. I tested Bluetooth connectivity and am now able to pair with my Bluetooth mouse.

Surprised, but very happy that the problem has been resolved and that the laptop now seems to be fully functional.

    Thanks again for your help.

Yes, the new laptops support nearly all commercially available solid player. Evo and Samsung Pro are popular models these days. Samsung has also have use for the migration from the old hard drive to the solid disk.

  • The HP Envy 17 laptop Quad t allows the base to extend HP xb3000 (docking station)?

I got a HP Pavilion dv9000 for about 7 years and use it at home with the HP xb3000 expansion base that has USB connections as well as the Altec Lansing speakers like the laptop.  A connector on the base of extension plugs into the connector on the expansion of the Port 3 on the Pavilion dv9000 and it has always worked very well. It allows additional hard disks must be installed in the base of the expansion, but I have not used this option.

I recently bought a HP Envy 17 quad t laptop with Beats Audio speakers.  It doesn't have a connector of the expansion Port 3, so I was wondering if there is any type of connector/adapter allowing the HP xb3000 expansion base be connected to and used with the HP Envy 17 T.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.  Thank you and have a great day!

    Hello

Envy has no expansion port so the base is useless in your case. A few other products that use the USB port would be useful.

  • HP Envy 15 t-j000 Quad Edition: screws fell off the bottom of the HP ENVY

Hello. Anyone know the size and type of the screws from the bottom of the HP Envy 15 t-j000 Quad Edition ? These are the small screws that hold the bottom cover of the laptop basically. Somehow mine fell and it is causing many problems. The tilt is extremely limited to a specific position. Disturb the position of the laptop while it is will cause a weird vibration because of the fan on the left side.

If someone could let me know what is size and the type of screws used to lower cover , and where I could find them, I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you

  • WiFi for computer laptop HP ENVY 15 and Ethernet connection problem

Hi, a few months ago, I brought a HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC running windows 8.1. It is connected to my wifi with Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi - Fi adapter. My modem is a Technicolour TG582n 2 Wireless ADSL + with wireless 802.11 b/g/n compatible.

As soon as I got there I noticed a problem of internet where I would be able to connect to my home WiFi network and get full reception bars but would have a hard time to access Web sites on web browsers such as chrome, mozilla and internet explore pages takes some time to load and eventually reached a page "this webpage is not available" (for chrome). This problem seems to occur only with my home network as it can connect to public wifi and my wifi friends and yet I have many other devices such as laptops and other smartphones connected to my wifi that did not at all have poblems with internet and it just seems to be mine. When I connect via ethernet I get good connection for about 10 minutes and then I was completely cut off. However, I can upload a file via the wifi ok if I can get it to start and I can play a game online well enough but often disconnected after an hour or two.

I checked for new updates of pilot, but they seem to be up to date and im do not manually downloading and installing one on the hp site but I tried (I did probably wrong). I ran the diagnostic function, but it cannot detect all problems. I looked around the internet as well, but still havn't found a solution.

Also I got the laptop sent back and received a new but the same problem persisted and as I walked through the process of the person I was talking to a admitted that I had a problem like they remote limited from my laptop for a little for the access problem.

Please help, I've had this problem for a month or two now and is really becoming a problem since I use my laptop computer for purposes of requiring home internet work.

Thanks in advance and I hope you guys can help!

I understand that you have a problem with your connection Wireless at home. You are able to connect with full bars but are unable to access the web.   When you're lucky hours just access the Web, you can make a download if you get started in time or play games online for one or two before again declining. You ran the diagnostic function, but no problems were. You had the phone replaced for the same issue, but the replacement has the same question.

You know your network is an 802.11 G or 802.11n.   How do I know if my WiFi connects using 802.11n (as superuser)

    Please check this setting.

    1. Open the Device Manager
    2. Click the network adapters to expand the list
    3. Right click on the Ethernet connection, and choose Properties
    4. Click the power management tab
    5. "" Please check that ' allow the computer to turn off this device to save power "is not checked.
    6. Repeat this process for all types of listed under network adapters.

  • Upgrade of the HP ENVY 15-J101TU screen

Hi I was just wondering if I can improve my current screen resolution of HD WXGA (1366 x 768) to full HD WUXGA (1920 x 1080)? They are currently on screens this resolution for this particular model while they are ineterchangeable? Is also my compatible with higher resolution graphics card?

    Hi @Jonny00

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

In response to your question, the parts and components listed in PC portable HP ENVY 15 and HP ENVY TouchSmart 15 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service of Guide are all components that are supported for this laptop, and if yes, you can install this Panel.

Normally the resolutions available on a computer are the combination of the drivers caught in charge card and the screen and most often display is the limiting factor. Since it is an available part, all its resolutions would be supported by the drivers included on the support page for this laptop.

    I hope this helps.

  • The HP Envy 17 line t there 2-Bay SATA or SATA 1 and mSATA?

The line has Envy 17 t 2 drive bays?  If so, is it 2-Bay SATA or 1 SATA and 1 mSATA? In addition, on the hardware selection screen:

If I choose this option, you guys at HP will install Windows on the SSD, instead of on the hard drive?  I found 256GB SSD which is much cheaper than $295, but I searched and found that HP has apparently put a restriction on the BIOS that prevents you from booting from an internal hard drive that you have added.

EDIT: Maybe I could also get the 256 GB SSD and add my own hard drive.  But I still need to know if she has 2 SATA or 1 SATA and 1 mSATA.

  • The HP ENVY 17-j120us there sata iii?

I think to put the HP ENVY 17-j120us and could not find if it is SATA-III or not, and if it comes with a quad core. I read that some lower Core i7 comes with core duo.

On another note. My HP EliteBook 8730w is SATA-II and I use an Intel SSD 520, which is capable of SATA III, someone knows it if I can wipe my SSD, then paste it into the new laptop and have it clocked at SATA-III? Is it that simple? Note also that I have the system of operating full W7, so no problem on this end.

  • HP ENVY 4500 e - all - in - a principle: HELP! Can I use firewire-USB cable to connect the HP Envy 4500 for MacBook Pro?

    Help, please!

I just bought a FANCY 4500 e-all-in-one printer for use with my MacBook Pro (OSX 10.7.5) during a trip. I use WiFi in the hotel.

I tried to connect printer and wireless laptop. It is not the case. Printer connects to the network. Mac connects to the network. The 4500 just want stands as a device when it is time to choose a printer.

I read all the posts proposed, searched the forum looked at HP printer support. I can't find any solution for when this message appears:

«ATTENTION more than an access point/router wireless was found which corresponds to your wireless network (SSID) name.» If this is not intended, your HP printer can connect to wireless wrong. To avoid this problem, change the name of your wireless network (SSID) to be unique.

"If you change the name of your network, you need to configure the SSID on all wireless devices to match your new network SSID".

I guess I can't rename the network name of the hotel's wireless, so I'm ready to go on the road to cable. Envy has a firewire port. My MacBook has just USB.

==> Se connect want 4500 and Mac via a USB-to-Firewire my best cable option to print while I'm in the hotel?

==> Or there, does anyone know a work around?

Thank you very much for your help!

Thank you very much for your answer.

Ah, Yes. The old Grasshopper see that it is just another form - Type B - USB port on the printer than on his laptop computer.

Why would I want to connect via WiFi to the hotel? Obviously because I was not think properly.

Thank you for your patience and response.

I click resolved when I print from my laptop.

First of all, he is out to buy a USB cable.
