I got with Spore and the Sims 3 run (to my knowledge) success, but both had errors during the installation. The message says something about the files not being not not the same as in the disks, and it might be the result of a corrupt environment, but as it has happened with 3 different games (Oblivion done this also, but I have not tried running it), I know that this is not the case. I tried with the Sims 3 and Devil May Cry 4 copy files in my hard drive and install from there, but no dice. I updated to each possible windows update and tried to run programs as an administrator, tried to disable my firewall and even tried the compatibility mode for a few of them. Anything you could tell me would help greatly, I get rather angry with my purchase of the computer as it is.

  Edit: Oblivion does not work on my attempt of a start-up, it crashes immediately. Action Center tells me to update to the latest version, but that the contents do not match due to the "source is corrupt" error, patch is immediately interrupted.
