The strains of error beep power

Greetings.  Does anyone know where to get documentation on the sequence of "beep" is heard in the power upward.  I currently have two short and one long.  I got eight short.  In each case of startup fails.

Hello ageedee,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

I understand that you are looking for documentation on the beep codes on a desktop computer? I provided you with the HP support document: computer won't start not and Emits a LED or a beep Code, which will provide you with the beep codes you're looking for.

According to document the two short beeps and one long beep means failed to initialize the video card or video required but not installed. Thus the 8 beeps means there is a problem with the video memory. The beeps appear to indicate that you have a problem with your graphics card.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

    Hi Comintern,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You receive an error message or error code?

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

    Method 1:

Step 1: Start in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Step 2: If the problem does not occur in safe mode, you can put your system to boot (in normal mode) to solve the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to configure the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

Method 2: I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Important: While running scan on the hard drive if bad sectors are found on the hard drive when scanning try to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

    Let us know the results.

  • The program displays error 1 airport

I have a network of 2 time Capsules from the airport and 2 Airport Express. One of the time Capsule is the main base of the network, the other edefinde ar as extension. Everything works perfectly since ages. Today, the main basis had the yellow light. I power market and everything happened after commissioning in normal operation. Later I started my program from the airport and here it shows me each device, but each device gets a sign, Red '1' in a button white. When I click it, I just get the detailed information of the device. Amazing that I don't get this message on the program from the airport to my iPad.

I run on my MacBook Pro, 3 GHz Intel Core i7, OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 Beta (15G7b), on time as well as the AirPort Express Terminal Capsules 7.6.4 Version.

No idea what this '1' means? I couldn't find any information in FAQ or support for the network in error messages.
The network actually works, so I don't know if it's an error message or just any type of warning.
    Thank you, Roger Che.

Yesterday, I received these insignia (white '1' in red).  He indicated that there are updates firmware for all my devices from the airport.

  • HP p6245d gives error beeps after installing RAM

My HP Pavilion p6245d desktop computer that has a motherboard of Foxconn H-I41-Μatx gives an error beep code of a short and a long beep after that I installed a 2 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 DIMM on it. The code of the RAM is KVR1333D3S8N9 / 2G, manufactured by Kingston. My system has a 2 GB installed RAM origin, but I would like to install an another 2 GB as it says that the motherboard can support up to 4 GB of RAM. I tried to clean the slots, reseatting RAM, reset the CMOS, etc., but not from their work. I also checked through the internet and I found out there a lot of people have the same problem. Hope someone can help on this issue. Thank you!

P/S: Operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

    Hello..
I would like to ask you something.

The motherboard gives you a beep sounds when the original RAM is installed on the other slot?

If your answer is Yes, then the slot is faulty.

It has only two instances when your PC gives you a beep sounds when the memory stick is plugged.

    1. when the memory stick (live RAM) is defective.
    2. his slot memory on the motherboard that is defective.

Find a stick of memory work on all locations on the motherboard. And mark that on which working memory is to give tone to the PC.

It would prove the functionality of your memory locations.

If you have any other questions or if this does not correct the problem, ANSWER.

  • amplification of the strain by using the cDAQ

    Hello

I am a newbie in the use of DAQ hardware and hope someone can help out me.

I recently bought a cDAQ with the NI 9237 to measure the strains. The strains that I try to measure are very small 1 series micro. A bit of research showed me that I need to amplify the signal to measure these small strains (correct me if I'm wrong). But I'm not able to find amplifiers for the cDAQ.So, the questions I have are-

    1. is it possible to measure these small strains (1 strain micro) using the cDAQ? If so, do I need an amplifier?

    2. If I need an amplifier, are there more specific for the cDAQ with the 9237? If this is not the case, how and where can I get one?

    Thank you

    SID

    SID,

These results were very shocking for me also, so I looked into it further.  It seems that the 9237 can do better.   Assuming you're within 5 degrees of the calibration temperature (25 ° C), 9237. 05% of span of error and. 05% offset error.  With the range of configuration and 25mV/V full-bridge, you can calculate the absolute accuracy of the 9237 with the following formula.  (Sound of full-bridge = 0.9 microV/V)

absolute accuracy = (gain error * reading) + (error offset * range) + (noise)

    Do the math, we get

    25mV/V + / 25.9 microV/V

    In a full-bridge configuration: V/Vex =-(Gauge Factor) * strain

With a typical GF of ~ 2.0, we can say that the accuracy of the strain will be

    12.5 mm/m + / microm 12.95/m

It's a little more in the range that you hoped for.  Sorry for the confusion.

If this does not work for you, we sell solutions PXI who will be able to measure more precisely.  Similar math help and type of configuration of full-bridge with SMU 4330 plug, we get:

    12.5 mm/m + / 3.48 microm/m

In my view, that it is card data acquisition based on a bridge more precise and accurate that we sell.  It requires a controller/chasis PXI.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Sincerely,

  • Compensation of temperature for the strain gauges

I'm trying to compensate for the effects of temperature on an extensometer placed on a sample of carbon fiber.  The sample will be only responsible uniaxialement.  The temperature is a major concern here, for an electrical current will be executed by him for purposes of measurement, which should also heat the sample.  I read in the document 'Strain gauges measure' on the website of NOR (http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3642/en), but he speaks with a Measurer of mannequin, he speaks not just how this second pledge, placed perpendicularly to the axis of the applied force, we are not talking of how connect to the strain gauge module , in my case the NI 9235, to use for temperature compensation.  My first thought was just connect each pledge to the module as their own separate channels, using quarter-bridge in the LabVIEW software set up, calibrate the two gauges while not external physical load or temperature effects are applied, and then, after the test, by subtracting the measure pledge Sham in the values of assets pledged.  But then I started wondering, is there a better way to do this?  Can I use the half-bridge configuration, or some other configuration with the 9235 to automatically merge the readings two pledge during the test?

I'd appreciate it really any advice that anyone can give me on this.  I don't want to build my own external wheatstone bridge (other than the built-in NI 9235), and I would like to make these measurements as accurate as possible.  I have also considered the possibility of the compensators measurers, but I don't think this would be applicable in this case, the complexity of the matter - being a composite.

    Hello WyoEng,

You want to use the temperature compensation is referred to as a quarter bridge II configuration (image below). This configuration is very similar to a half of the bridge, while the second element (R3) is inactive because it is placed transversely to the direction of the load, without strain and in the same location the active gage (R4) to take account of thermal affect.

NI 9235 supports only a quarter bridge I configuration for measures of constraints.  You will get an error if you try to use this module for any other configuration of pledge of strain that is not quarter bridge I. Thus, active policy that you asked to use two channels to read the pledge and the dummy gage will be the best option to use NI 9235 to compensate for thermal effects on your extensometer.

Another option would be to look on the NI 9237 which supports a quarter bridge II configuration.

If you unplug the printer from the computer or network and turn on the fact come ready.  If so, then the print job that is still trying to print or a new print job is causing the error.  Delete all print jobs from any computer that uses the printer.  First upgrade the firmware using the easy firmware updating program.  Then try the same job and see if works.

  • The HP printer error

I have a jet laser pro M275 get 79 service error. TRN and always on the same message again. Changed ink crt printed now.

    Hello Gmom25,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you run an error on your HP Laserjet Pro M275 "error 79Service".  Go ahead and try a cold reboot:

    (1) disconnect the power supply to the printer.
    (2) hold the symbol (*) & enter buttons simultaneously and switch the power on.
    (3) wait until you see "Permanent storage init" msg (I think that this is but not sure the exact msg) and then release both keys.

If you still receive the error after the reset, have a look here: Solving of control panel Messages, according to table looks like this error may be related to the Firmware.

In my view, there was an update sent 2013-11-06, which includes many improvements and fixes. Please select your current operating system in the drop-down list, click Next and under the Firmware section to try and install the update, if you are able to get out of the error state.

If you are unable to get rid of the '79 Service error", I suggest to call our technical support at the 800-474-6836. If you do not live in the United States / Canada region, please click the link below to get help from your region number. http://www.HP.com/cgi-bin/hpsupport/index.pl

  • Received error BSOD, ran Diagnostics, got the error code 2000-0146, tried to boot from different HARD drive, got the same stop error message

So my friend gave me his computer dell laptop. The thing would boot normally for a few days until he would give me a blue screen of death with the "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" message constantly to not even upward. I ran the diagnostics and got the error code 2000-0146. What I've read, this code error means that the HARD drive is bad and must be replaced. So, to make sure that it's the hard drive, tried to boot from an old hard drive, I got around the installation by USB and windows gave me the same stop error message. May - so that means it's a motherboard problem?

No, it isn't - unless the operating system was installed on this drive AND the system in question, that it won't work as a bootable drive.

Unplug the system, remove or disconnect the battery and hold the power for 30 seconds approximately.  Turn on and re-run the diagnostic tests - if the same error appears again, the drive is bad.  Replace it.

  • Window 8 Pro blocks due to error Kernel Power event 41

I upgraded my computer from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 8 Pro.
My machine started crashing (BSOD equivalent) randomly and often.
Watch the crash dump data (Event Viewer) and theses Win8 accidents result from 'Kernel-Power' (* event 41) error.
Due to the absence of any information on the nature and the rectification of this event and error Kernel - Power, I had to assume that it might be linked to the power supply feeding the processor (or the kernel of Win8).
My Windows 7 Ultimate has been solid as a rock and NEVER crashed.
So I have to make another assumption that the problem is NOT with my hardware but the fault can be caused buy an aggressive CRS of the internal vote to the kernel of Windows 8 Pro.
To confirm this hypothesis, I was able to reinstall Win7 [ty Acronis] an image already made before Win8 upgrade.
Windows 7 DO crashed before installing Window8.  When I reinstalled Windows 7 BACK from an image, it always goes NOT down.

My third assumption is that this BSOD is NOT related to my hardware or Windows 7.
I've actually gone as far as my power ELECTRIC (Antec NeoPower 550) and PS (under load) test is strong, as indicated with the proper functioning of Win7, but NOT under Win8.

A few additional tests indicated that I continually movies playing in the background, window 8 crash at all.
I don't think this is the type of solution to this problem that I'm looking.
I will continue to blame Windows 8 for this problem because my Antec power supply nor Windows 7 is at the heart of the problem.
I also have a sneaky suspicion that this problem will not be solved anytime soon.
But we can only hope someone can answer to these problems.
    Welcome, 512f

Random freezes for the new screen of death:(que plantages dit que c'est la collecte d'informations mais justes assis sur 0 % donc je dois tenir le pouvoir mais de fermer.) My system has been solid under win 7 ultimate, I slowed the speed down in order to see if it would make a little more stable but not lucky I'm on an X 58 chipset with a hexagonal base 12 CPU of xeon W3670 of ram raid hard gigas drives they were what I thought, that was the problem that has had a lot of corruption on some of the incidents very angry with what I think that This OS is not suitable for usage, I'll write in the negotiation of standards on this subject. but I think that Microsoft can get away with this because it is a license not a real thing. Well I don't like the office, aero was nice, that sounds like your desktop cheep 2D from another age. and my backup does not win 7 so I lose a day in my life of resettlement to perfection, I had a mac.
