To uninstall the digitalpersona finger printing software

I installed the DIGITALPERSONA personal finger print software on my labtop Windows 7 Professional.

It is inconsistent and does not. There is no uninstall utility, how can I uninstall this software correctly?

Click Start-> Control Panel-> programs and features.  Click the program, and then click Uninstall.

  • Status.msi error after update of the HP - Vista printer software download

    Everything worked well and then I downloaded an update from the HP printer software there is, through the application of updated HP and immediately after that I started having a few nights the following error message:

    "The feature you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource.  Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package "status.msi" in the box below. »

    In the "source of use:" drop-down list there, "C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS73BD\setup\status."

    If I click on 'OK' it appears that the same error message.  If I click on 'Cancel' and then I get the error message following popup "an installation package for the product to the State cannot be found."  Try installation again using a valid copy of the installation package "status.msi".

    I tried to load the CD-ROM to boot for Vista (v.8.0.1) supplied with the printer (HP Officejet Pro L7580 all-in-one), but my computer will not play.  It will read start XP CD, but I can't find the file "status.msi" anywhere.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi, I had exactly the same thing happen to me and I went crazy trying to solve this problem, but I did tonight and I want to tell you how I fixed it so hopefully it will fix it for you.  Run a desktop Dell with Vist Home premium 32-bit with SP2 and a HP 4315 all-in-one printer.  I got this answer directly from HP technical support.  I've updated via update HP and got an update of connectivity and had then windows Setup tries to install service.msi like you.  Here's what HP support said to do what I did and it fixed it.  go to start, all programs, uninstall HP, then select uninstall, everything.  Then go to http://support.hp.com enter your go product number for the drivers and software and then reinstall download it full of software and the driver.  Reboot and it should disappear.  Please let me know if it works

  • New Version of finger print software computer name invalid

    Software version 3.2.0.275 of the finger print reader.  Everything worked fine before the update now, it appears a box after the finger that says 'Invalid name computer' and it is not connect.  I have to use my manual password to get into the computer.

    Anyone else having the same problem or know a solution?

    It took me awhile to find the links, but I found it finally. The Lenovo/IBM download servers it is a shame to Lenovo does not publish, because it is not found on the link to download previous versions for those who have problems with the latest version. I know that HP will give you the possibility to download the previous version from their website.

  • How do you properly remove and reinstall the hp 3210xi printer software in Vista after a bad installation?

    It is a repost to seek expert assistance from HP last week.

    Product: hp 3210xi printer.

    Operating system: Vista 64-bit.

    Errors: Several, especially related to the missing .msi TrayApp, status and DocProc files.  Some of them are on other Windows logon are call center solutions HP or by selecting the scan function.

    Changes: Do not change when the errors using the started HP Solution Center, probably after an update or install, but could not have used quite close to associate the change.  Print function has always worked without error and the analysis function is used less frequently.  Have tried repeatedly during the uninstalling and reinstalling.  Have used the System Mechanic to try to erase the registry HP errors reported.  Have seen some HP Solution Center errors before but have always been able to reinstall to remove.

    Problem: Cannot connect to Windows without error.  Cannot start HP Solution Center without errors.  The HP solutions Center opens and functions, but the text is missing.  Can't scan from the center of solutions without errors, but tests eventually work.

    There are a set of "scrubbers" that appear in your installation directory, which can carry out varying amounts of clean-ups/uninstall.

    The deepest is a "uninstall L4' and and is launched by exectuing the 'Uninstall_L4_64.bat' file (double click should suffice).

    These files are in the subdirectory '\util\ccc', is usually found in c:\program Imaging\ of Hewlett-Packard...

    Find the "Uninstall_L4_64.bat" file, then double-click on it to get the course of cleaning.

    (3) have you made recent changes to the computer before the show?

    Did you follow the steps I have provided?

    I suggest to follow the steps mentioned in the previous post and then try to install the printer software.

    You can try the following steps to install the windows updates:

    Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...)  Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

    Step 2: Disable security software, follow the steps mentioned below

  • M400: Finger printing software application constantly same messages

    I have a portege m400 and the protector suite QL software ever, aknolages every time I check the don't ask me again.

    sorta problem fixed I is gone and manually changed notification settings, kinda gross way to go about this but hey it worked.
    p.s. the thread won't let me change this thread has answered I just get a server error

    Purchassed a new printer HP Photosmart C410a. All the features work except the scan of the computer. I have contacted HP and you will have 3 printer delivered by on 25/01/2011. I can scan from paint and other programs, but not HP.

    Updated to Win 8 64 on toshiba laptop, all updates installed, deleted all the old software HP (4 times now with the L4 uninstall util, ccc, in Temp% 7% * of all downloads on system file.)  still no connection to scan.  Printer works fine.  When I try to scan, I get "cannot scan because another program or computer using the HP Imaging device in network. Try again later.   The rest of my network is shut down, leaving only the laptop, the router and the printer/scanner.  Ran print HP & Scan doctor... get extended info error 4, [(2, 7, 80040007), (0, 0, 0)(, 3, 7, 0)]

    Scanner has worked without problem in Win 7 Home Premium on the same system.  This one is only about 1-1/2 years... seems HP wants to buy me a new printer.   (Note: also have a model economy HP 2050... which prints and scans without any problem to win 8)

    Now 2 days later, adding to post.  Completely removed all the system HP printer software, rubbed %temp%, rubbed registry, 3 times more.  Always get error Scanner 8 [(1, 0,-2147024770)]

    Scanner works with Windows Fax & Scan, Scanner works fine on 2 Windows 7 machines using OJ6500vE709_Full_14.exe software, troubleshoot-performed Netgear WNDR3400v2 router configured the Norton 360 Firewall to accept hpqkygrp.exe, hpqste08.exe hpqtra08.exe by HP Document CB022-90014 supplied with the printer.  hpqscnvw.exe & hpqthb08.exe are on the document are not present in C:\program HP imaging\bin. Checked ports used by the printer/scanner for the open State.  Ran Print & Scan Doctor - led Twain error every time.

    Install by using the results of the network USB vice in the same question.

    Microsoft, Norton and HP offer no solutions in the forums, or with technical support.  It is a home network, 3 computers, 1 printer, 1 router.  The printer is the cable to the port on the router.

    It seems that the installation package OJ_AIO_6500vE709_Full_Win_WW_140_408.exe missing something, since the old version worked fine in Win 8 until it has been updated to the new version.

    We did some research on this problem and it is caused by a file being in the wrong directory when the installation is done.

    That's why scanning works programs MSPaint or Windows scanning and Fax but not HPs Scan App.

    The indications are very simple and are as follows

    1. Find the folder where 7zip extracted your web pack (the directory starts with 7Z)
    2. In this folder, navigate to the drivers\scanner\x32\ folder.
    3. Copy the HPWTIOP4. DLL from that folder to the Program Files (x 86) \HP\DigitalImaging\Bin folder

    When I initially set up my laptop - I have created a password because I'm always invited to do so. Even when I close and open again. I can get by using the scan finger print taking many shots before it works (sometimes up to 20).
