Unable to start after installing SP3

original title: problem installing SP3

Whenever I have install sp3, that my computer starts in safe mode, I have to run the system restore to get back, can someone help?

You can't just rename Intelppm, since then it would be "disappeared" but on next boot, XP would always try to load and do not find the file, so I think that you wait for the error.

I'm not sure that article HP makes sense - perhaps Beach Bum Daavee will weigh on that thought.

Using the Recovery Console, you need to disable the Service, as shown in method 2 of this article:

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/953356

Then when you restart, the Service will not even try to start.

If things get worse, you can also run "enable intelppm" the RC.

  • Black screen with mouse pointer count on reboot after installing SP3

I tried to install Service Pack 3 on a PC running XP Home Edition (new installation).

Although Microsoft Update has finished installing SP3 and the computer reboots, I get the XP installation screen base with the message "Please wait...". ", which disappears after a few seconds, leaving me with a black screen with only the mouse pointer.

The mouse pointer moves then the PC broke down, well that no matter how long I leave nothing happens.

I tried to uninstall SP3 and do it again (when I Uninstall SP3, Windows starts very well) and also uninstall SP3 as well as my Antivirus and try the installation again. But whenever I'm just left whit black screen.

Try to update with the custom option.  I had problems like this before.  Usually you are missing a driver or something of this kind that makes you hang.  To update while the custom option, with the exception of SP3.  Reboot several times the installation of updates with the "Custom" option  Once all updates have been installed except SP3, you can try SP3 and see what happens.  This usually takes care of it when I have the same problem. • Computer OS used to start after installing windows 10

Hello im having problem starting my system after installing windows 10. I did the install and it worked fine since the upgrade to 8.1. But then I tried to format the drive and in the menu format, he's stuck at 2%, and then I restarted the computer. Now it will hang at the hp logo and go back to the same logo. Do I have to replace my hard drive?

What I understand, if you have completed the 10 Windows Installer and everything has happened until the end, then you are supposed to be able to do a clean install with the download of Windows 10 DVD or USB.  With a working computer, GO to THIS PAGEand scroll down to the button "download tool" selection the 64-bit version.  Once clicked, it will ask you if you want a DVD or USB for the iso.

Once it's done and you have the DVD or the USB version, see if you can install Windows 10.  If this fails, you may need to replace the hard drive.

    Hello

Most of the cards PCI-E 3.0 are retro-compatible with the PCI-E 2.0 slots.  However, in order to get the PCI-E version 3, you must use a processor Ivy Bridge.  Look at these specificationsfor a typical NVIDIA GTX 650.

  • Windows 7 takes 15 min to start after installing Labview 2012

    Hello

I need help on this, is this a bug?

The problem is that on my laptop after installing Labview 2012, it takes about 15 minutes to start, this happens every time a restart or start my laptop.

At first I thought something with my laptop, but then my colleague also installed Labview 2012 on his laptop and has exactly the same problem, the difference is that his new laptop and is running windows 7 Professional 64-bit, mine is older and is currently running windows 7 32-bit professional.

I tried to disable the services NOR, but has not solved the problem, but when I disable all windows services that start at startup, the startup is fast.

Also note that I had Labview 2011 installed before and I didn't have this problem before.

Tried also to find something in the registry, but nothing.

Any who have this problem, or a solution to this?

    Thanks in advance

This problem seems to be resolved, but then he come back again a few days later

I did many tests in my laptop and found it to be in the "Service of Network Store Interface" service (INS). Disabling this service, you have your problem solved, but there is another problem, you lose the network.
This happens because the "DHCP Client" service depends on the national statistical institutes.

Also, this issue seems to occur only when the PC is in a domain and I'm in a windows server (Windows SBS2008) domain.

Then I found that if you set manual this services which depend on national institutes of statistics (DHCP Client, DNS Client, IP Helper, network connections, local awareness network) and also put INS manual
You must also disable the "Workstation" service that also depends on national institutes of statistics (why turn off? Because there are 3 services that depend on the workstation service, they will require to start, and then it will force NSIS to start, then long boot, if you really need of the dependent services on workstation, do the same as for them)
Not also need uncheck this services in msconfig window if they are checked, and then the PC will boot normally without a network.

When you start, you should go to services and start the DHCP Client for the network (and the other if you really need)
This will force also NSIS to start and other services that depend on the national statistical institutes.
The first time the PC restarts, you may need to reset these services to manual in the services window, I had to do, and then in sebsequent boots, they have been already set to manual
If you leave right on the dependent services in automatic or automatic (delayed start) it will force NSIS to run and start time will go to + - 15 min

Because you must manually start "DHCP Client" for the network, here's a solution to do it automatically after have connected you:
1 - Go to control panel, and then open administrative tools
    Task 2-open Scheduller
    3. on the right click "Creat fundamental task.
    4. in the first window give a name ("DHCP" for example) and press next
5 - Click on "When I Logon" and press next
6 - click on "Start a program", and then press next
    7. in the "program/script" insert: net
    8. in the "Arguments" insert: start "DHCP Client".
    9 - Press 'Finish' and you're done
