  • Internet Explorer and uninstall problem

I usually use IE v7, but for some reason, this week it just stop working. I tried to uninstall the existing program with the intent to download a new version.

Question 1. When I went on the program installation/uninstallation and clicked on IE to uninstall, the uninstall did not show upward. The only place where I could see it was at the top of the screen. He disappeared when I clicked on the program, I wanted to uninstall.

Question 2. I advanced and downloaded a new version and installed, thinking he could just replace the existing version on its own. I am unsure as to if this happened or not.

So here is what is happening since. The first time I opened the program, it worked. I got a message type as a popup to Norton saying something about phising - I did what was suggested and IE open.

Since then, however, when I try to open the program, it seems to get stuck and I have a white screen (at the top of the screen, however, shows that IE is "connect". I was bit lucky because I can hit the Refresh button or the Home icon and it will open. This process takes a lot of time, unfortunately.

I would use Mozilla Firefox, but I give courses online and there is a printing problem with this program and the one I use. The two are familiar, but nothing is apparently done to remedy.

    Any suggestions?

Thank you very much for your help.

  • Age of Empires III: Asian Dynasties uninstalling problem

I installed Age of Empires III and two packs of its expansion. But when uninstalling, I left the Asian Dynasties and proceeded with the other two, and now I can not uninstall the package Asian Dynasties. Even when I try to install all the Asian Dynasties installation program once again, try to uninstall and fails to do so, stating the reason in the form of two missing files. Is it possible to remove the traces of the previous installation, as all the files in the installation directory have been removed?

    Hey aniket_s,

What are the two missing files?

You may need to rely on software from third parties to remove the traces of the previous installation of the registry.

Please use your favorite search engine, and find one that is used.

Before reinstalling the game, temporarily disable any anti-virus, firewall, anti-spyware software running on your system, then try reinstalling.

  • installation uninstall problems under xp pro. Fix, he says: go, not in Add Remove. don't leave me not re install program

Due to a major accident due to the power failure during the installation of the driver updates, I had to re install a good large number of programs, one being intelitype pro.

Made the normal elimination with add and remove, but kept having the program stopped asking for the disc, even if it was in the player and had been directed to it many times.  The program kept appearing and disappearing in the Add/Remove window.  It was not found in the programs.  Finally turned to fix.  I found patches corrupted in the registry and these as well as other repaired registry issues. He also said that it had removed the software.  In re boot and attempt to re installation, I found myself back at the beginning, except that this time, that the file is that neither in the programs, nor add it delete window.  What I'm doing.

(The accident seems to have illiminated one of my portable usb drive.  It does not show in the Device Manager.  Just, it's sitting there and a strident sound; "but that is another problem).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

  • Uninstall problems w/HP Officejet 5610 all-in - One Printer

I have a Dell E510 desktop on which I've recently updated my printer to a printer wireless HP Photsmart 7520. I am running Windows 7 32-bit professional, an Intel Pentium 4 3.0 GHz CPU with 4 GB (usable 3.24) RAM. The new printer worked for about two weeks, but developed problems. The previous printer, a HP Officejet 5610 all-in-one, began to send me questions, so I removed it, or so I thought. The physical device is out of the system, however, I can not uninstall the software.  I tried to uninstall using the uninstall feature, nothing helps. I tried to use the feature to remove programs from the Control Panel, also to nothing does not. These tasks have been tempted both before and after the physical removal of the device.

I keep getting error messages about the file being on a network that is not available. When I opened the printers and devices, the HP 5610 printer keeps appearing, no matter how many times I 'remove this device '. I believe that the two software are conflicting with each other. Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can remove the printer HP Officejet 5610 to my system?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    John C. Morgan

I would like to offer a suggestion to uninstall the printer HP Officejet 5610 on your Windows 7 computer. I recently needed to tear a program on my computer and had problems as well, I was finally able to uninstall the software using Microsoft Fixit.

I have a really frustrating problem with my printer HP Officejet 6600. I'm using windows 7, 64 bit.

All of a sudden the scan function stops working.

I tried to uninstall the HP Officejet 6600 Basic programs, but when uninstalling this has place of message:

If I choose ignore, uninstall the software, but the driver "HP Officejet 6600" are still there, but does not. In addition, this driver are listed in the device 30 Manager - 40 times.  I tried several methods to remove the driver.

I have installed and uninstalled programs several times, tried to remove the drivers not working not (also in the 7z-cards back), but I have not managed to come around the problem.

    2. Restart your PC and go to the Device Manager, check if these instances can now be uninstalled.
    3. Click the view menu and select Show hidden devices and then continue to search for and remove the printer from the printers / print queues / imaging devices / multifunction adapters / other devices.

  • Printer V505 uninstall problems

I have a Dell printer V505 informs me of what will never run on my Windows 8 XPS 8500 because they will not write a driver for Windows 8.  Unfortunately, I tried to install it until I discovered this.  I bought a printer that works, but when I try to uninstall the V505 I get the message that the printer is in use, and I have to wait until it finishes the print job.  There is no open print job and the printer is not in use. How can I force the uninstall operation to get rid of the V505 software?  Lack of support for this Dell printer gives me a lot of doubts about the commitment of Dell to its customers for a long time.

  • Weird uninstall problem

I tried to update Acrobat X for some time and it is always wrong out there with the same error, saying that he could not access network location. Our office has recently installed new Network Attached Storage, and our Win7 profiles are stored there. If things like our office and the My Documents folder located on the NAS.

Then, when I try to update to Acrobat, it errors out because it can't find \\the-old-NAS\my-username\Favorites.

Seriously... Favorites? Why is it a big deal that Acrobat cannot watch my favorites? It took me a minute to understand that this meant "the thing called Internet Explorer Favorites. Haven't opened IE in months.

So I tried to uninstall. I found out that Acrobat XI has been installed on top of X; It was a silent installer for creative cloud which fell XI on my drive, but I don't think that it works in all. I uninstalled successfully. Now I would like to uninstiall X, but I can't because it errors out on the same problem "I can't access your Favorites, on the old SIN.

What should I do? I would like to make Acrobat entirely and start over.

  • Master Collection uninstall problem

    Hello

I downloaded and installed the trial version of Adobe Master Collection CS6 some time ago and now I want to uninstall some of its feature that I do not like Flash Cs6, but I ran into a big problem:

When I look in my list of programs (on Windows 7), I no longer see the file Master Collection! So I can't open the unistall program, where I simply select Flash and unistall it!

How can I run the utility manually?

    Please help me!

    Thank you!

You cannot uninstall selectively, so it would be useless, anyway. Run the Creative Suite cleanup tool, delete the files of Adobe, reinstzall with only the opations you need.

  • Help necessary after CS4 CS3 installation uninstall problem

    Hello

I recently upgraded my computer from Vista to Win7, so I spent a lot of time to update applications.  I realized my CS2 wouldn't work and I was told that I had to at least get CS3.  I bought the CS3 and installed on my two new Win7 machines without problem.  I then discovered that CS3 is no longer supported by Adobe, so I need to get CS4 or CS5. I installed CS4 trail and decided for now back to CS3.  I had not uninstalled CS3, but was disabled, not knowing if CS4 would no longer write it or if the two can co-exist.  uninstalled CS4 via the Control Panel, CS3 re-activated and all was well on both machines.  Then, on my machine main update of Adobe wanted to update a few modules, InDesign and Acrobat Pro.  Things went very well with the update until he asked me my CS4 disc?  I have it mood the second time and fed Alternatively the CS3 and CS4 disc... he let me not put both if I swapped the drives until I was no longer able to lift my arm and when everything is done, the installation failed.

He left me with no functional InDesign.  To make things worse, activation could not connect to Adobe for some reason any.  I was able to use the phone process to activate products, but now I wanted to try installing CS3, but it wouldn't let me disable due to network issue, and there is no option to disable, internet phone or she to jump.

I called Adobe and asked for help.  I talked about the problem of turning off for them.  They said to go and Uninstall CS3 and we arrange activation after the re - install.  Knowing that he might take a long time, he said he'd call me back... never did.  I tried to help and were unable to get help.

What I have now is a CS3 uninstalled that I can't install at all, so I am in worse shape before, when only InDesign did not work.

I have DW3 on the same computer and it is very well and has been very well throughout the process.

I need a way to exorcise the PC of all memory of CS3 or CS4 so I can really start from scratch.  Is there a such a "wipe bomb Adobe" I might fall on my registry to really get rid of his insistence on the CS4 install disk need?

I am convinced that CS4 did not uninstall cleanly, leaving files or settings that still refer to CS4, in conflict with any attempt to update or reinstall the product correctly.  I hope that this happened to someone else and has found a solution, far from rebuild the whole PC.

    Thank you!

    Lew

Adobe Photoshop cleanup script is would have been good for just this sort of thing:

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/contact/cs5clean.html

He said CS5, but it works on older versions as well (note the text at the beginning of the description).

  • DWMX uninstall problems

I try to get Dreamweaver MX, the Manager of extensions and HomeSite + all uninstalled from my computer Windows XP. The problem is that these products disrupt each other when you use the Control Panel Add/Remove programs. First I ran uninstall it to DWMX, but who left the installed extensions and homesite Manager and uninstall broken. Incredible. So I reinstalled DWMX, uninstalled HomeSite +, re-installed DWMX to get uninstall working again, then uninstalled DWMX. Now I'm left with Extension Manager installed and cannot run the uninstall. It's frustrating and really bad quality work the part of Macromedia. How can I get these products from my computer! I'm fine with do it manually, but I need to know what are all the things that should be deleted.

    Thank you
    Stephen

Problem solved: downloaded the stand-alone Extension Manager 1.6 v., installed and uninstalled version then.
