Updated accidental - returning?

I'm on a team creative and accidentally updated day CC 2015 before the rest of the team was ready and we are entering a period of intense activity - is it possible to revert to the previous version of creative suite, even if I greeted the new version overwriting the other?

Since neither updates Jan - 10 have installed, I'm going to hand you Support MS in the hope that they can resolve the problem. See below.

That being said, is an interpretation of the 80070017 - cyclic redundancy check error "a device attached to the system does not work," which suggests that a hardware problem might be the cause of the error (although I must say that it is a very low possibility in this case).

    Good luck!

  • Error Windows Updates 'configuration of Windows updates fail, returning of the changes.

Updates to the title: original Windows.

That means 'configuration of the Windows updates fail, returning from changes '? My laptop has been updated but got stuck on 12%, and would not go further. It is restarted 3 times and only went up to 12%.

Was actually able to solve this problem through more research. It turns out that his receiver of wireless mouse and a SD card was stalled the installation program. I don't know why but I turned off the machine (long press the button), remove, checked all other ports, block tire and cord then put back the battery and card, turned on and it ran through the installer without problem.

  • Select Update which returns no rows

Y at - it no weird side effects that may occur if a select for update which returns no results is never hired? I don't think there is, but I do not know if there would be some sort of overhead or unintended consequences. This isn't a huge issue, but it has developed in some coding I did and I was not able to find documents addressing it.

I would say that the only side effect: no other session can make DDL with the selected table.

  • Laptop HP Pavilion 2320DX g4: computer hp laptop pavilion g4 does not start successfully after update and return to windows 8.1

Hi, I have recently updated my laptop to Windows 10. He had so many problems and I didn't like it at all, so I just returned my laptop to Windows 8.1.  Since then, my laptop does not correctly every time, and the fan immediately starts to work as well. I can start my pc and connect to my home screen each time.  If the tile is moving or light up when I move my cursor, then I know that I can use my laptop for a little while. It can freeze after getting out a good program. Other times when I start my laptop, everything is dead except for logging on my screen. My Windows key on the keyboard does not work most of the time.  If the screen does not respond the first time I turn, as described above, I can't absolutely nothing on my pc. I can't access the search bar by moving the cursor to top right, I can't open the tiles, I can't spend in desktop mode, etc.  Front I upgraded to Windows 10 and downgraded to 8.1 all worked perfectly, because I've updated from 8.0 to 8.1 Windows almost 2 years.  I have a defective battery. in fact I can only use my laptop if it is plugged. My fan is constantly going, but I don't know if it's my loss of battery or what's wrong with my pc now.  I have described my problem in the Microsoft community forum but have had little response that was not helpful. I was told to go to the command prompt and put in DISM: scan now (which also contained letters more than that, but I do not remember all). I followed the instructions and for 2 days, my pc seems to do better. Then he returned to this problem again. I hope you can help me.  If you have additional questions, post here or please email me at [removed personal information]. Thank you!

    @DWESTDEWITT,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forum.  What you can do at this point that there are several updates released by microsoft and hardware vendors is running the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

If this fails to solve the problem.  The only option will be to restore the operating system to the previous, until HP gets the drivers so that they can release them on the support page for your laptop for Windows 10.

Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

  • Unable to get the windows updates, it returns an error (often 0x8007043c and other similar)

Original title: can't get windows updates

I was unable to get the updates of windows - via the feature of automatic update, or through the manual method to access microsoft.com.  When I go to the microsoft update Web site, and it starts to scan my PC, it returns an error (often 0x8007043c and similar).  I tried to run Microsoft FixIt.  It tells me that windows up-to-date devices require to be repaired, but when I run the repair (problem-solving), he continues to run for hours and hours and doesn't do a thing.  How can I remove the software from the Windows Update Agent from my PC and reinstall a new version?

    Hi JosephGPhD,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

Method 1: I suggest you to follow the steps in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article and check.

You receive an error message "0x800A01AE" or a "0 x 080070570" error message when you try to connect to the Windows Update Web page or to the Microsoft Update Web page in Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/910359

Method 2: If the method above does not help then you can see the article mentioned below and check.

  • updates Windows returns to the start-up and restart the portable computer

I put a clean image of windows 7 on my laptop and started running the updates of windows. There were 200 +. They download and restarted the computer and start the installation. The problem is now that he gets so far installs it fails and he returned to the starting point and then restart the laptop and the process begins again. They only way I can get back to my computer through safe mode. Any suggestions?

Try excluding upgrades recommended to install important updates and only load the Important updates first which should be updated about 159 200 not.

If you get hung up refer to the latter.

It is expected by M$, we must now jump through hoops to clean install.

If looking for updates to hang on a current installation,

Switch your windows update setting to never check the updates temporarily

    Restart the machine

Then you download this from your download folder run from there.

    https://TechNet.Microsoft.com/library/security/MS16-039?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    Download the x 86 for 32-bit or x 64 for 64-bit

Install it and restart when prompted too after he did a search of stand-alone for updates that should not

take too long, it took all of 5 seconds, '' If '' windows update settings are turned on forever check

updates before running from the downloads folder.

    Once it installs and restarts

You can reset your updates affecting everything you had before default =...

    Then check the updates manually.

I think that the solution came from Softpedia and Joel_CS posted on this thread,

  • Windows Update fails, "returning changes" hangs forever

I seem to have bricked just computer from a friend, unless someone has an idea what to do.  This morning, I got it innocently install 108 updates.  Towards the end of this afternoon she called me to say that the computer had asked to be restarted to complete the update, and it did.  When it restarted, he began the configuration, and then failed.  He said it was back of changes, only not to turn it off and then just hung there for 5 hours.  I came to watch once again, rebooted, it (Yes, I thought was not any returning at this point), I tried booting in safe mode, but it's always the same thing - try to install an update, fails and says that this recovery changes everything as before and then it just hangs.

I tried the system restore on three different restore points, which always goes down with a 0x800700b7 error code.  I can reboot into safe mode command prompt, but then what to do?  The computer does not restart normally.  I looked at a few threads here, but everything seems to be doing an update failed to succeed - in Windows.  I can't get into Windows.  I can't do anything but try the safe mode or watch the blue screen that says that it is.  Please - what can I do?  Other than reinstall Windows and start over (and she needs to be able to save about 400 GB of files before I can do it - so I don't want to do).  Thanks for any help you can provide

Software don't not brick a PC.  At worst, you need to back up files, run of the mill recovery or make the superior Clean reinstall Windows 7 that if it has not been done before would be a big improvement since it seems that the OS is corrupt anyway.

In Safe Mode, type services.msc in start search, disable the Windows Update agent.  Make it work for a while with a few reboots, then turn it back on and set to Windows Update "Check for Updates but let me decide which install."  Install the updates in small groups and if necessary use the Restore Point it creates.

I think due to problems with the restoration of the system which should be the net of security here, I would first run the scans of the infection, SFC and if necessary a repair of steps in troubleshooting for Windows 7 installation to check during the installation.

  • Surface RT - default configuration Windows updates to returning date change

I just bought a RT of Microsoft Surface 32 GB and I tried to upgrade to 8.1 Overview Windows.  The device off near the end of the installation and when I turned on this return, he cancelled the installation.

After the installation is rolled back, I had to go through the installation process for Windows.  When I am finally back into Windows it had only four tiles on the start screen: IE, store, Explorer of files and office.  Other applications, as well as UNRWA, have been installed is no longer.
I tried to do a system restore, but it says that there is not all the required files and insert the installation media.  Unfortunately, I did not create a restore USB.
Now, whenever I try to install updates from Windows Update it restarts and starts to install, but then comes up with the message "configuration of the Windows restore changes updates failed.
I have redownloaded update for Windows overview 8.1, but even after installing and rebooting I don't get the option Update in the store.
    someone at - it ideas?
    Thank you
    Jason

    Hi Jason,

Do you have a code/error message when installing Windows RT 8.1 Overview has been restored?

In order to upgrade to Windows RT 8.1 overview you should have a good peripheral work of RT. Since the rear roll was incomplete after the failure of the installation of Windows RT 8.1 Overview, some of the preinstalled applications are missing from the device. So, I suggest you "reset your Surface. Please refer to the section: "Solution 3: reset your Surface" from this link:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/surface/en-us/support/warranty-service-and-recovery/how-do-i-restore-refresh-or-reset-surface

Note: All your personal files will be deleted and your settings will be reset. All the apps that the is come with your PC will be reinstalled, but all other applications will be deleted.

-After the reset of the device, install all the updates that are available from Windows update and make sure that the device is functioning properly.

Please return back with the State of the question after the above given steps, so that we can help you further.

  • Configuration of the windows updates failed, returning error Exchange

I have a laptop windows 8.  Whenever I run windows updates, I get the error message "failed to setup of the windows updates, returning error changes.  I tried the windows update troubleshooting tool and download the updates manually but still no change.   Is there a solution to this?

Thank you.   Often, when I try to run windows updates I get error like 80242FFF codes; 800703F1.

    Hi Zurkon,

Thank you for your update on the issue.

If you receive Windows Update error 80073712 0 x or 80073712, it means that a file needed by Windows Update is corrupted or missing. Windows has tools that can help you solve this problem of troubleshooting. I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

Method 1: Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter

Method 2: Run the DISM tool

    1. Enter in the right edge of the screen and then click on search.
(If you use a mouse, point to the lower right of the screen, move the mouse to the top and then click Find.)

    2. Enter command prompt in the search box.

    3. In the list of results, slide down on or right click command prompt, and then press or click Run as administrator.

    4. In the administrator: command prompt window, enter the following commands. Press ENTER after each command:

      DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

      DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    5. To close the administrator: command prompt window, type Exit and press ENTER.

    6. Run Windows Update again.

Hope this information is useful. Let us know if you need more help, we will be happy to help you.
