Expanded the USB hubs and region of controller and remove all the listed USB ports / controllers from the list of devices.
    After that, restart the device.

The system should reboot and the USB ports should be recognized and installed automatically.

    Hello

In Device Manager, you can try to delete and remove the USB host controller and USB hubs.
All these devices are responsible for the functionality of USB ports.
After you remove the USB host controller and USB hubs, restart the laptop.
Usually the Windows operating system should recognize the devices automatically deleted after that, you can check if the USB feature is back.

  • My USB Ports suddenly stopped working

    Hello

I connect a second hard drive on my desktop (hp dc7600 sff) and everything was going well until I was prompted to press F1 to save changes to new material. I realized my mouse and my keyboard are not 'read' via connected USB ports. I tried to change the ports but still nothing, so in the end, I was unable to choose the F1 for the recording of the new HARD drive. I tried all the other ports, but still, nothing.

I am now faced with a dilemma, I can't go through the login screen because none of my input devices can be connected to the PC, as all modules are connected USB.

Help. I need to return to my beloved PC usage.

    Hello

I would like to know some information.

  • Neither one of my superspeed USB ports have already worked

I use Windows 7 on a Dell laptop and none of my speed super USB ports work. The USB 2.0 drive works fine. What should I do to get them to recognize connected devices?

    Hello

Which is perhaps what is obvious. The devices that you want to run out of these 'super speed' USB ports must be capable of USB 3.0, and if connected by a cable, then the cable too must have adapters USB 3.0 on this subject. If the devices are not capable, they 'drop down' to the USB standard which they all, very probably USB 2.0 to USB 3.0.

If they are capable of USB 3.0, then pilots must also work with USB 3.0 or it will not be the USB 3.0 connection. You know the devices and drivers are USB 3.0?

Let me know the complete state of your devices / adapters / drivers so I can help more if necessary.

  • USB port may stop working after you remove or insert a USB device

HI I have a problem with my USB ports. I looked at the following article -http://support.microsoft.com/kb/817900 , but this is for users of XP and not Vista.

Can someone help me with a resolution of Vista operating system?

I tried to update the drivers - does not set it

I tried to delete the USB devices and rebooted - does not set it

Now, I don't know what to do... someone can help me?

    Hello

    ·        What is the exact error that you receive when you use USB devices?

    ·        Y at - it no dispatcher USB connected to the system?

    ·        What exactly happens when you connect a USB device?

I suggest to uninstall the USB hubs/controller in Device Manager and check. Follow the steps mentioned below.

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

    a. click on Start menu and type in Device Manager in the start search box and press enter

    b. click USB Universal Serial Bus controllers () and expand the list.

    c. right-click on USB hubs and select uninstall then remove it form the system.

    d. restart the computer.

    Thanks and regards.

  • HP Pro 3400 MT (usb ports do not work in windows 8.1 on Intel chipset)

Are prorts USB on my computer do not work!
I have Intel (E) 6 series C200 chipset. I'm updating all the drivers and after 5 to 15 minutes when the computer starts, usb ports have stopped working.
My computer model: HP Pro 3400 MT
    OS: Windows 8.1
Please, help me! How can I solve this problem?

Yep! But... If this is not a new installation work? Hmm...

Without doubt, I find a reason. It's for my X-710-BK (a4tech) mouse drivers. I switch to a different mouse and system now works fine!

  • All USB keyboard has stopped working

    Hello

All USB keyboards have stopped working on my installation of windows 7. They work fine in the BIOS or on my Ubuntu installation. When I plug a keyboard, it still gives an error code 29 (drivers not found). I tried using two keyboards: a Logitech Gaming Keyboard G105 and a fairly generic wireless keyboard (a dongle to connect to the computer).

I tried to uninstall it from the Device Manager and plug or restarted again, but the result is the same. Windows Update cannot find driver updates, and a system repair disc doesn't detect any problems. I temporarily created a fresh install of windows 7, which recognizes the keyboards very well. There is no driver available manufacturer (attempt to all keyboards are supposed to use the base drivers), and the keyboard Logitech gaming software does not see that it is there. 'Control Panel-> devices and printers' keyboards of lists of names, but the shows not even the stuff of work that is just under the Device Manager and the problem-solving the tent and is unable to find the drivers again. Try to select the driver HID keyboard in the Device Manager just in fact give the code 10 error (device does not start) instead.
Nothing I've tried has gotten me anywhere. I would rather not re-install Windows 7, like all the time and effort to get my system how do I like it took me forever, but I can't see how I solve this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you
    Zoden

There is a good chance a "repair" install will fix the problem as a "repair" install should re-create any missing or corrupt driver installation file.
