View with PCOIP Wan

Hello together,

I had a problem with the connection with PCOIP on WAN.

I can open my IE with https://externalviewserver:4172, but when I click on continue I don't have logon screen.

After a while the IE wnt in timeout.

Thank you very much for the help.

Hmm, I think you got it wrong somewhere.

You must install the client from view, he points to the broker to view http/https connections, authenticate and you can then choose a desktop computer to connect to.

  • Automation of VMWare View with PCOIP 5.0

    Hello

I am trying to automate the execution of applications in VMWare View Client (PCOIP). However, I'm stuck with sending the keys to applications. I tried in vain on the keyboard to screen, SendKeys, keyboard hook to this effect. I also read VIX API documentation but I don't think that it works for me because I don't have administrator rights. Please notify.

I'm not sure I understand the question either, but I had some success using AutoIT (http://www.autoitscript.com/site/autoit/) for automation in the past. Using this, you can compile a script as an executable to run in the virtual machine.

If you do not have rights admin on the virtual machine, you can still use the Run value in the registry for the current user to start an application when you connect. Have you tried to put the path to the executable file that you are trying to launch in the HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run?

You might be able to use both of these ideas and set the path to an AutoIT executable in the HKCU Run key to get the automation level you are looking for.

  • Getting RDP not with view 4 PCoIP

I installed the 4 Agent seen in a XP SP3, fully updated windows update, VM with VDM_VC_MANAGED_Agent = 0 specified since I'm not (yet) using vCenter View 4 with PCoIP selected server installation option. Login v4 Server also provide a W2K3 x 86 VM and created an individual office with this XP VM with PCoIP set as the default protocol. All virtual machines hosted on ESX 4u1.

When I connect, as a non-domain administrator user, I get a MOP, not PCoIP, connection, such as confirmed by the connection to the server "Active Sessions" and a qwinsta in the session of the view. It is with the View 4 client (without offline) installed on a Vista SP2 x 86 machine.

I don't see anything obviously wrong in the newspapers on the client.

Anyone got any ideas how I can get PCoIP going or it is not unless you use vCenter, although I don't quite see why that would be?

Previously, I was connecting via IE8 so I just tried with the customer directly, sure I select PCoIP such as the Protocol, and now is shows the link as "wdcon" when I run qwinsta while when I was getting RDP he says "rdpwd" and said: I'm on the console, not a winstation rdp.

The connection to the server is also now show me as having a PCoIP connection so that it looks similar to this might be a limitation of the entrance via a browser rather than directly by the customer.

The planning of Architecture Guide States the following on the view with PCoIP:

    PCoIP has the following limitations:

    • You cannot use the virtual printing with PCoIP functionality.

    • Cards using smart only is not supported if you use PCoIP.

    • Users who have access to their virtual desktops with portal view cannot use PCoIP.

View = view Web Portal Portal to access virtual desktops.

  • VMware View 5 PCoIP get a black screen on wide AREA network

    Hello community,

I got a VMware View 5 Infrastructure with a vCenter Server, a connectionserver of view and some clients such as VMs.

Internally, everything works - connections PCoIP and RDP do their job very well.

Know that we want to publish the vDesktops over the WAN. Users must connect to the virtual machines in their laptops or iPad (or iPhone) at home. So, we have configured our firewall to open the IP Wan (194.209.166.xy) to the internal IP (192.168.199.xy). A DNS entry for view.xy.com shows the IP WAN. If the WAN connection to infrastructure display RDP works - but PCoIP connections shows a black screen after 10 to 30 seconds after logon. We never see an interaction of oder break Windows. The screen is black after the logoninformations in the client view.

We have configured the connectionserver display settings as described in some articles here... 7

    The external url HTTPS: https://view.xy.com

checkbox activ: tunnel connection secure user desktop

    PCoIP external url: 194.209.166.xy:4172

checkbox activ: use pcoip gateway secure for pcoip Desktop connections

We have forgotten to do some settings or is it an another workaround to work with PCoIP over the WAN?

    Kind regards

  • VMware VIew 6 (PCOIP): Windows Client and web browser connects, Android and Ubuntu - don't

    Hello colleagues!

    VMware Horizon Client 3.4.0 build-2769709

    VMware View 6.1.1 construction-2769403

    VMware vSphere 6.0.0 2776511

That's what's wrong: used SecurityServer and connecting to the server. External connection - via a router. When it is connected to a vmware PCOIP Protocol (Internet) outside of the view with a Windows client and a web browser, it works fine. But when connecting from Android or Linux (Ubuntu 14) load the desktop does not occur. Android immediately displays the message 'connection to server lost', Ubuntu delivers all messages - I'll be back on the screen to select a pool table.

Which connection via MS RDP connection protocol is correctly to all customers.

In the settings ConnectionServer in PCOIP Security Gateway set up the external address of the router.

    Redirect them router ports:

    -TCP 80,443,8443,4172,32111

    -UDP 4172,32111

    Any ideas?

In security settings server in 'URL of PCOIP' was FQDN, but it must be the IP address.

You have recently upgraded your ESX hosts to the U2 version? If so, that breaks PCoIP. There is an article with a link to d/l a package of updated tools that solves this problem.

  • Mouse disappears in view 4 PCoIP

I seem to have a problem with the mouse pointer disappears when you use the PCoIP Protocol in View 4.  I did a search of communities and found

a similar position.  The suggestion has been there to turn off shadow on the mouse pointer.  I tried but without success.  I am running the latest version of the view and

have the latest version of VMware tools installed in the virtual machine.  It runs on a Wyse R90L with DVI dual 19 "monitors.

When connected to the computer virtual with PCoIP and I move the mouse from one screen to the other and it disappears.  I can either right click to get the context

menu or hit ctrl + alt to find mouse is displayed again.  Sometimes it reappears by itself and sometimes it wont.

I played with most of the settings of the mouse in the control panel and the only one that seems to prevent the mouse to disappear

    is "pointer to display path".

It is not that I use the option of RDP in View 4.  Y at - it a bug of rendering out there

When you use two screens and PCoIP?

Installation tools after that officer view you can get in a bad state. The SVGA driver that we use for the view is in fact currently not part of the tools. With a view, we use a modified version of the SVGA driver. This driver is installed and distributed as part of the agent to view any tools. Tools can actually replace the driver you really want.

The questions of this mouse will happen for several reasons.

-Agent older beta that has been upgraded and all has been cleaned not (this is the most common problem, we see)

-Agent not installed correctly when preparing an image of model master and VM starts in bad condition

-Agent and former customer were in place and upgrade was attempted but not completed correctly and or, one of the customers and agents have never updated, and they are not synchronized (this is the most common problem)

-The tools are installed or updated after the agent of the view and the view agent has not been reinstalled after. (This is the third problem)

Make sure that the agent is actually installed correctly after installing the tools

Check that the version of the client matches the version of the agent. We see many cases where we think they are, but are not. Also very common is the upgrade of the client, but until you restart it, this can also cause this symptom to occur.

  • The right Shift key View 4 PCoIP/w and keypad does not work

    Hi all

I'm having a weird behavior with the right shift key and the numeric keypad. This happens when you use view 4 with PCoIP. When you use RDP to connect to a system and using the console in vSphere.

To illustrate the differences in the way he behaves, I typed the following string in an RDP session and a Console Session of vSphere.

    "@ @ 123 123.

^ Button '2' three times, three times, to left SHIFT + key '2' "123" on the top of the keyboard and 123 on the numpad + is offset to the right.

You see that, while in RDP, the right shift key does not work and so that the console session the num pad behaves like the arrows or the end, pg DN (aka acting like numlock is turned off)

VMWare tools are installed on the virtual machines in question. I tried to turn numlock on and off without a change in behavior.

No I don't think that the numeric keypad problem has been reported.  But I've now reported.  I'll let you know if we have other questions.

  • What does this mean and how to fix: the router address you entered is not compatible with your WAN IP address.

I connect to an access provider via Airport Extreme, which is extended through two Airport Express.  When I try to edit anything in one of these devices, even a name, I get this message: "you have entered the address of the router is not compatible with your WAN IP address.  My connection seems to work, but there is clearly something wrong with her.  The Express has no DNS and will not update without the same message.  I have no idea what this is all about and will greatly appreciate the ideas.

This means that WAN Setup does not or does not install across the network.

The best way to solve this problem is beginning on...

Reset all three at the factory and reconfigure each in turn. Do the extreme first and make sure it works... Then add the express.

If you need help with that we will need to know which modem or modem router to your ISP gave you and possibly the type of services to wide band... and who is the provider.

Give us screenshots of each installer as you do.

  • Images disappear after loading another view with webview

Okay, so at the beginning I had an old bar which was signed and I put that on the playbook to see what features it had. This bar has worked exactly how it was supposed to. I got the source and I had to change something, but first I had to update the sdk because I do not have the old sdk that it was built with, built when air 2.5 was outside. Everything I've done has been 3.1 the air version and the update includes the blackberry tablet sdk. He compiled and loaded on the perfectly good playbook, but after that I click on an image which acts as a button that goes to a view with a webview inside, and return to the original view, all the images in the initial view disappeared and I can't click on any one of them.

It's weird, I remember what happens a long time ago and it has to do with something on the change of AIR/SDK, but I just do not remember what is the cause... If anyone knows what could cause the webview make the images disappear on a reload of a DIFFERENT opinion, let me know. BTW, webview was destroyed on the previous view.

It was a problem with webview I suppose, very unstable object implementation...

  • RV220W - rules of access/redirection of port with multiple WAN IP addresses

I just installed a Cisco RV220W - that works very well for outbound traffic, however for incoming it seems unable to work with multiple WAN IP addresses.

We have a block of 6 WAN IPs assigned to us by our ISP, and I want to use each of them to expose certain ports on our servers to the outside world.

I tried to do with rules (by using HTTP, for example) with the following parameters:

Connection type: Inbound (WAN (Internet) > LAN (local area network))

    Action: Always leave

    Service: HTTP

    Source IP: Unique address

    Start:

Send to the Server Local (DNAT IP):

Use other WAN (Internet) IP address: disabled

    Status: Activated

However, the port of the inaccessible Server/rest.

    I tried:

    • Restart the server with power power off again
    • implement the same port forwarding settings
    • triple-checking all the IP addresses used

The only way that I have working is by changing the access rule so that it applies to any specific source rather than to another address... but this isn't a solution for us because we need to use specific IP addresses to the internal servers/ports specific.

The interface of the router admin certainly suggests that this should be possible, but using it seems to break all incoming access!

    Any suggestion is welcome.

You must use "ANY" as the source IP address, you publish your internal server to the internet and the internet means that the request comes from any source IP address (you don't know what it is, so that's all.

Basically, you want any source IP to hit one of your WAN IP on port 80, and then your firewall will redirect the request to the internal private IP address of the server on the same port 80. And when the answer comes back internal server, the firewall will already have this translate entry in and reverse NAT won't happen (you must configure it, the default firewall function).

I hope that I have answered your question.

Please mark as correct, if you like the answer.

This is usually done with a CMS (content management system). There are commercial products CMS like WordPress, Joomla and perch. You create one or several layouts and then create pages of these page layouts using the CMS. In this way, it is possible to have hundreds of pages, each with unique content, but a page layout that can be managed in a place of sharing.

CMSs on shelf don't require programming skills. Otherwise, some of us write our own CMS with custom functions, but this requires back-end, as with PHP programming.
