Virus update creative cloud?
Sure Webroot detects no matter where the cloud creative update creativecloudset - up.exe as a trojan virus. Adobe has been hacked or is this a false positive?
I have not seen someone complain if an update of cc so it is unlikely that there is an infected file on adobe.com adobe. OTOH, where did you get this file?

The only solution that I find in the forums is to remove ALL Adobe applications and reinstall.

No need to uninstall other Adobe applications, except Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application.
Follow the procedure below:
Uninstall Adobe Creative cloud only.
Using creative cloud | Uninstall the creative cloud desktop application
Restart Computer after uninstalling cloud creative app. Make sure that Adobe Creative Cloud is not listed in the control panel > programs and features. list.
Disable the firewall temporarily. [Optional step]
Step 1:
Open the c: drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86)------\Adobe " common files".
Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.
Step 2:
Navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe.
Open Adobe file and if present the file to remove Adobe Creative Cloud . [* important]
Impossible to remove? Rename it to Adobe Creative Cloud centenarians.
Step 3:
Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) with the key R together at once, you will get a command window.
Type below command and press the enter"" key.
AppData
Then go to the Local > Adobe.
Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.
Step 4:
Then, download and install the Adobe Creative Cloud app and check.

When I hit the creative cloud icon it starts updating creative cloud but stops at 2 percent and said to try to connect to the server, and does nothing else. My internet is fine. I have Adobe master collection installed on this laptop. I disabled my firewall to see if that helped, but it does not work.

Updated Creative Cloud Apps on both computers. I have to do in each update TWICE, it's twice the bandwidth (hours), the costs and inconveniences. Adobe spoke on the online chat Support - no help and no empathy, it's a very serious fault and not what I expect from Adobe.
Why updates cannot be downloaded on a computer and then used to update the other?
Currently my MacPro is up to date, my iMac is waiting on 12 updates.

If you have enough computer knowledge to use usb to transfer files updated, you can circumvent the application of cc desktop and use direct downloads:

whenever I will update creative cloud, it stops at 2%. It says "connecting to server...". ", but the internet connection is fine and all the functions of CC-programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Update only "Creative Cloud Desktop" to the 2.2.0129 version will not work.
I already contacted support and they told me to remove C:\user\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater and restart my computer, but it does not work.What could be wrong?
