Updated creative cloud on a Windows 7 PC.

I'm updating creative cloud on our PC. Installation has failed the first time. I had our it guy disable our anti-virus software and try again. It works normally. This time, however it has been sitting on 0% for more than an hour without telling me he can't not or that the program is not responding. I'm afraid that if I restart the PC during this time it will damage the creative cloud. Any ideas?

We risked a reboot. everything seems to work fine now.
