Using the mouse all to random tasks or someties will be stuck so I can't spend it slider farther to the left or to the right of futher. If I don't touch it for a few seconds, it becomes ok.

  • Touchpad Iconia W510 turns off when the battery dies

I know this isn't the best subject line, but he described a kind of my problem.

My W510 Iconia came with Win 8 when new and then the empty Tablet two batteries so that I could use the touchpad for as long as I could use the device. Drained the battery of the keyboard first of all, there's enough juice to keep the touchpad and keyboard work and then switched to the battery of the tablet. When I closed the lid it load the battery in the keyboard shelf. Neat.

When I upgraded to 8.1 win he has changed so that it now would drain the keyboard battery almost completely and thus stops the touchpad. Sill keyboard works, however. Is not treated, it is a step backward and very annoying.

This turns a laptop very versatile and ergonomic for a tablet with a keyboard for about 50% of his total time of battery, which is a long time for this device. The only way using the touchpad is to charge the battery of the keyboard more than x % (when it is unplugged the touchpad up 0% works). I haven't checked how I need to load the keyboard in order to get the touchpad working again. I write this as it Chargers and 15% is still not restarting the touchpad, I guess I have to restart.

The other week I upgraded to Windows 10 and Win 8.1 behavior continues.

Of course, all the drivers and updates from Windows Update are installed and uptodate.

Y at - it a fix, a driver that it cures, a power setting which prevents the tablet to completely drain the batteries in the keyboard?

    Thanks for your time!

Because I failed to locate the drivers for the touchpad and reinstall so I used the system restore feature.

Curiously enough the touchpad began immediately the work during the restore process while restoring the system itself ended with a message that it was unable to restore Windows to an earlier version of point as no changes have been identified.

Well, everything is working now, so, my lesson is that the system restore can restore drivers and relaunch devices Device Manager can not find.

  • Touchpad issues?

Recently, I have problems with the touchpad. I can't get the pointer arrow to go where I want it. When I do it, it moves all around and I can see it shake on the screen. I can't scroll upwards or downwards with my two fingers. When I try this, I'm split applications that are open. Any suggestions?

  • Why my touchpad on MacPro unresponsive?

Last week, I installed Mac OS Sierra on my MacPro. Since then, my touchpad is not responding, and system has slowed to snail PACE. Why?

Occasionally an older battery start to fail and start to develop.  Which often interferes with the trackpad.  Open the MBP and inspect the battery.  If there is no sign of expansion, immediately remove that continues the expansion will seriously damage the MBP.

  • Touchpad cursor gets hard to control "woozy"

Recently, I went back to using my Mac Pro 2009 after using a Macbook to the past two years for most. I upgraded to El Capitan first, and I decided to start a new account because I've been migrating the same account for 20 years. So all is cool enough for most.

I had used a magic with the MacBook Pro touchpad because I hated the portable computers clean touchpad. Having become accustomed to the use of the touch pad, that I decided to use it with the Mac Pro. I use the touchpad, even for the last two years.

Here's the problem: I have not yet identified which triggers it but what is happening is that the slider will frequently and suddenly become what I can only describe as 'under the weather', and I hope it makes sense. It becomes slow and its response and tends to overcompensate sometimes I have to be very careful and precise and slow in my movements when it's like that because if I use my hands the way I would normally be the cursor will overshoot.

It does not have it for long periods of time, but he does not often. And it makes me a little nuts. Any ideas?

Really?  No one has an answer here?  I'm going crazy... and now my stylus is dead, so I am forced to use the touchpad! (I can't use a mouse because of repetitive stress injury)

If anyone has any ideas, please share!

  • Touchpad not working not for a few seconds after I touch it with your finger, then a more...

I already tried SMC and reset the PRAM, but who doesn't. I found someone with such a similar problem (Trackpad doesn't work sometimes on MBP after upgrade OS X 10.8.2)

but the measures that seem to work for them do not work for me.

Thus, as described in the title. the touchpad works very well as long as I just touching with a finger, so scrolling with two fingers or by changing desktop computers do not work. the mouse freezes for a few seconds after I hit with 2 fingers. After about 3 seconds it starts working again.

If there is someone with the same problem let me know!

  • How can I disable "force the touchpad touch '?

Theoretically, this terrible 'feature' is only available on the latest models of MBP... I opted for the mid-2012 13 "this time (I got a few Mbps) since this is the last model that still has the DVD player.

SO there is no option 'force the click and haptic feedback' in my system preferences, BUT my GarageBand preferences for some reason any displays the option 'Enable touchpad touch force' with the GRAY-CHECKED box (which means that I can not turn the * @% & thing off)!

I discovered its existence, while trying to understand why my GB kept popping up with a "feedback detection, turn monitor off? ' blurb that is so incredibly boring, because it appears when I even not record anything and even stranger than that is it pops up when I don't have even a 'live' or vocal instrument track in the air! So, when looking for how/where to address THIS issue, I came across the "Force Touch" thing (christ, the only words sounds like an assault or rape or something, I mean, right?); now I'm pretty sure that this thing is causing "feedback" notice pop up (, also keeps you prisoner until you do deal with it - yet another great added "characteristic", thank you very much oh no Apple brilliant makes this happen)... arrghhh!

SOMEONE CAN ME SAY PLEASE HOW TO TURN OFF THAT AWFUL THING? I don't even know WHY it does not appear (I usually want to answered the 'why'), but I despise seriously this thing so I JUST WANT IT GONE! Please that there is someone out there reading this who knows how to achieve it - I'll be eternally grateful!  Thank you!!!

  • The touchpad scrolling works on all applications (including IE) but not in Firefox - Win 10

My touchpad scroll does not work in Firefox. It works great with IE and other applications (Windows 10).

If it was a driver issue - I think that this would not work in all applications, but it works fine everywhere (except Firefox)

I can operate for a short period, if I uninstall the Touchpad (in Device Manager), restart, re - installed.

Again, hard to believe it would be a driver problem - works fine in all applications, except Firefox...

  • My touchpad is hole batteries

My touchpad is holing of batteries every week. I use my computer in less than 12 hours per week. This seems odd. Y at - it a sleep track pad option that I don't know?

    http://www.lenashore.com/2012/06/trackpad-battery-life-getting-you-down/

There is no way to 'sleep' your trackpad. But you can simplify your use of battery. (Two to four weeks until the replacement/refill is in the ballpark.)

    1. rely on rechargeable batteries - like those that accompany your trackpad.

    2. invest in a charger AA-, they are relatively cheap and reliable.

  • the touchpad on the generation of apple tv 4 does not swipe

Just unpacked my generation Apple tv 4 refurb.  I gave the remote control a short load before you try set up.  I was able to pair the remote control but the touchpad does not respond to the finger swipes. There is no way to make selections.  I was able to use my mini iPad to Setup wifi, apple store and iCloud.  When asked to allow location services there is no way to select my choice.  Also on the built-in keyboard I can click but not drag to select the letters.  Looks like a defective remote to me.  All opinions. ?

Charge for about three hours. If the remote control is correctly associated with ATV, but the touchpad stil does not work, get it replaced.

  • 'Click' touchpad does not work

I have a MacBook Pro (retina, mid-2012). The function of 'click' of the touchpad of my laptop stopped working. He always follows the movements of my finger and it makes the right click. I had to plug in a mouse to make it work. I booted the computer in "safe" mode and it works fine, but when I reboot, it stops working again. I disconnected all devices. What should I try next?

You use a third-party software that modifies the behavior of the trackpad, such as 'BetterTouchTool' or ' MagicPrefs? If so, please, turn it off, then log off or restart the computer and test.

  • The touchpad scrolling stops working during the AVG scanning

I had problems with my touchpad scrolling intermittently does not not in Firefox for everything to doing some time-probably at least a year. I've probably tried all the common fixes without result. I found that if I sign out and then sign back in to Windows, scrolling will work perfectly until AVG antivirus does a scan or an update. It will not work again until disconnect me and reconnect. Firefox is the only application that is affected.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) with all current updates on your laptop Gateway ID49C, version FF 27.0.1.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello!

I figured out how to stop the break when an AVG scan starts. It seems that it is the AVG scan notification that appears in the bar of tasks that causes scrolling to stop working. When I disabled the taskbar notifications in AVG, the scans run normally and my scroll continues to operate correctly. So, I guess I don't really fix anything, but found a workaround I can live with that.

Thanks for your help and assistance. If you find a permanent solution, please let me know. Have a great day.

  • Is it possible to upgrade the trackpad in my mid-2012 13-inch MacBook Pro to the touchpad by force?

I would add the 3D button or touchpad of my mid-2012 13-inch Macbook Pro. I know that you can upgrade from things such as the hard drive and ram. But I can do the same thing with the trackpad?

No, but the new version of the external trackpad is designed for ElCapitan, it can be used.  New version of the external wireless keyboard works also with ElCapitan.

Just, don't wait these external devices to work at lowest ElCapitan.
