Want 4500: Printing problem

I have problems printing.  I send stuff to print, but it's right there saying "printing" on the printed report.  The printer has "impression...". "on the screen, but nothing happens.  I tried to turn off the computer and the printer several times but always do the same thing.

He did this before, but is itself sorted after the restart, but not this time

Help, please!

    USB: Check that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product works properly.

  • Print queue: checks and clears pending print jobs in the print queue (a newspaper for printing waiting to print).

  • Ink issues: check the cartridges and the ink levels for issues that affect the print quality.

  • Print settings: check and adjust the print quality settings.

  • Test print: print a test page for the assessment of the print quality and provides options for cleaning and if necessary print head alignment.

  • Scan tests: check the scanning mechanism, drivers, and registry entries.

    I have a HP Envy 4500 printer which has worked very well for a while. Recently I converted to NBN with a new router and well that the laptop has had no problem with the printer connectitivity. The printer works fine for about 10 days, then do not print. When I use the doctor of printing & scanning HP he passes through the "fix" and finally confirmed that it will be printed internally, but must be uninstalled and installed again. I did it and it installs ok then, (I use the download to be installed on the HP site) and it prints ok again for a while.

    I use the wifi for the laptop and the printer, and even still have the printer close to the router, the printer will print after 10 days. The printer wifi appears connected correctly.

    Why it works for ten days and then do not print unless I uninstall the printer and reinstall?

    Have you tried to see if the IP address of the printer has changed whenyou can not print?

    You go to the front panel and press the 'Wireless', and it will display the IP address.

    Now go to the PC > start > all programs (or all apps to win 10) > HP > HP4500 > IP update

    Run small applications and compare if the IP address on your printer software is the same as on the printer.

    If this isn't the case, it is the reason why it can not print!

    Please uninstall and reinstall the software COMPLETE features, follow these steps:

    1. download and save the software COMPLETE features (do not install online)
    2 uninstall the software from your computer
    3. install the FULL feature software "saved".

  • Want 4500: Print missing the top of the document

    Here is the problem that I am facing. I have a document Word 2013 which is the A4 format. When I print the document on plain white paper it prints without a problem. However, when I print on paper (120 g/m²) Brown Buffalo output a mixed success.

    Sometimes, the impression is correct - yay

    Sometimes feel like missing the beginning of the document. In that the output will print the bottom half of the paper half top of paper. In addition, the amount of printing which is not respected by the top of the page is also intermittent. Sometimes it's a couple of cms, sometimes its a half page.

    My document is in the landscape. The document has no margins, but there is no printable data less than 10mm of the edge of the document.

    As printing is correct with the white paper and defective with the brown card, I can only assume the problem with the printer paper type and not the document or the configuration of handling.

    Yes, understand you it correctly. The problem is the document management capabilities of the printer. According to the specifications of the HP Envy 4500, Max paper weight it can handle is 120 g/m². If you are using their HP Premium presentation paper, you can get better results. However, if you decide to continue using brown paper you have there, there a trick so that you can get better results.

    I had some problems printing with my desire to hp 4500. I recently bought this for use with my laptop, which runs windows 8.1. I tried to print wireless with mixed success. I can't print anything product of microsoft office, firefox, etc. I can't print a PDF file or the other - with a catch. If I print the document first with adobe printer, save the document, and then print with the printer of the desire, it will work (for a few pages at least). This happens even if the original document is a pdf file. When I try to print from word, for example, I get a message saying that "your file could not be printed due to an error on HP ENVY 4500 series (network) on.     Hello. Thanks again for your help. I found how to solve my problem. I know now that it had nothing to do with the printer or its software. Something was wrong with my registry or files of certain parameters that I couldn't identify myself, that I tried to plug the two this printer in my lapotop via a usb port and installation (with the same problem). The same problem happened when I connected usb printer older that I know works (hp 3050 has-for printing at least) and still had the problem. I just did a windows update and had to reinstall everything. Now, I can print and scan wireless without problem. I would like to have a more simple solution. Maybe the idea of my friend to install a registry cleaner from the beginning was a bad idea. You live and learn, I guess.

    For no reason at all on every 10 minutes, my printer will start printing recipes "allrecipes.com."   I deleted and uninstalled all files with what it is related to ' allrecipes.com, yet whenever I turn on my printer, and every 10 minutes thereafter, here come the recipes. I think I have some hidden file or program somewhere, but where?

    -Very well, since you didn't say that you use ink snapshot or ePrint, this should solve your problem:

    1. On the printer, click web services icon that looks like a tablet with a phone beside her.
    2. Press the button "-" next to settings.
    3. Scroll to delete Web Services and press OK.

    When I try to print a document on both sides of the paper prints the first side but the second sides is only half or less printed, leaving a large empty space.

    Any suggestions as to what is the problem and how it can be solved if you please.

    I solved the problem by reinstalling the call series printer drivers from the Web site rather than the network on the supplied CD-ROM driver.

  • Want 4507: Printing problems with envy 4507

    I bought my printer a couple of months and everything worked fine. I have not used for a few weeks and now it seems to be a problem. When I print a PDF for example, any black text to print at all. For a Word document, the text (black) comes out as a very light gray. Color of text is fine in both cases. A printer test page prints just color bars, but also some Black hooks. The print quality is fine, its only missing bits.

    This happens if im wireless for my laptop or phone, or via USB connection.  The ink levels are high in the two cartridges, I tried cleaning cartridges and putting back them in place. I also re-installed the latest version of the software on my laptop (Windows 10) and I reset the printer to factory settings. Nothing seems to solve this problem. Someone at - it other suggestions I can try?

    I bought a new printer 2 weeks ago - the installation was successful, and I was able to print several times on the wifi network. But for some reason any it stopped working a week later. I now have a blue light flashes next to the wifi on the printer symbol and when I get the wifi settings, select my network and enter the password wifi the printer tells me that it is a wrong password and it cannot connect. I also tried to restore the settings of the default printer, however, I get the same problem.

    Yup blue flashing light means that you are not connected to your routers SSID. For test purposes, remove your SSID of the router password. Now try to connect to your SSID unsecured? Are you successful? If so, go back and add a WPA2-AES encryption with your password.

  • Windows 8 and want to 4500 using Adobe Reader printing problems

    I have a laptop HP Pavilion (July 2013) with the dreaded Windows 8 and HP ENVY 4500 printer (November 2013). I will have questions, a booklet for printing Adobe Reader that displays only a few pages, and then the print job is canceled. I also noticed that a blue dialog box comes up saying an error has occurred and can not print, added to that, I now leave the printer in standby because another blue dialog box used to say that the printer is offline and I couldn't get it back in line without uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer. I have installed and uninstalled Adobe Reader X 1 and also the Adobe Reader X and I have also installed and uninstalled the printer about 6 times.

    The strange thing is that the same pdf file will appear as a brochure when I use my old Pavilion laptop (Circa 2009) which has Vista as the o/s.

    Anyone know how to solve the problem?

    I read your post and see that you are not able to print a booklet from Adobe.

    I'll be happy to help you.

    You use the downloaded full feature software or driver Windows preinstalled?

    Here's the URL for the HP ENVY 4500 e-all-in-one printer drivers.

    Select the operating system, and then click Next.
    Click on driver - product Installation software and download the drivers.

    You can try and set it to print a picture to see if it will work.

    Go to file, print, click on the Advanced button and select print as Image.

    Run all updates from Adobe. Updates.

    Here is a URL to temporarily turn off all the start up programs to see if one of them is causing problems.

    How to change Windows 8 start programs.

    Temporarily disable the Antivirus software.

    Try to print again.

    You must follow the same steps to reactivate all the and turn on the Antivirus software.

    It seems that failed to print to PDF prints are a problem for other institutions. Looks like you can change a setting in printers and Scanners which determines whether Windows manages your default printer or not. Based on this image, I found that the option below is the list of available printers:

    When we first bought our desire to 4500, I used a PC for my home computer. He died, and I am now having to use a Mac. I successfully installed and used the 4500 want with no problems. However, I would like to print default of "Draft" mode, as I had before. When I used a PC, it was easy to find and change.     Follow the steps below to print using black ink only:

    1. from the application used to print, click the file menu and select print. The print window is displayed.
    NOTE: The print window might be minimized: click the blue triangle next to product model (Mac OS X v10.5 or v10.6) or the button view details (Mac OS X Lion v10.7) to see all of the available parameters.

    2. to access quality options, click on the area of selection below, listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
    Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

    3. Select Type/quality paper in the menu dropdown.

    4. set the print as a project quality.

    Click the predefined settings menu, select Save current settings as a preset and perform a print job, the employee preset will remain the default until another preset will be used.
