What, if any, is the relationship of bytes and pixels?

Digital photos IRT. Having problems sending a fairly large image file (JPG) photo to a recipient to pass on my Web site.

Hello

Ask the developer to explain what he needs from you.

Byte - a unit from the date of the computer usually 8 bits form a byte.
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/byte

Pixel - an area on a display screen which are used to display an image.
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/pixel

Typcally for a B & W each pixel of the image is 8 bits or 1 byte and a color for each pixel Image is 24-bit or
3 bytes a byte each for red, green and blue). So the more addressed pixels larger the file will be
be or more bytes required to store the image.

    Hello Izzy1211dw,

The difference between these models (and the 5745) are content to include the box according to where you buy, like maybe one of these models can have the USB cable included in the box, which is not the other.  It is a HP reseller application, but in regards to the product specification, they are the same.

  • What are the relationships between the logging and IKM?

What is the best method to use in the following scenario:
I have about 20 tables with the large amount of data sources.
I need to create interfaces that join the source tables in target tables.
The tables are inserted every few seconds with about hundreds of thousands lines.
There may be a gap of a few seconds between the insertion of different tables that could be attached.
The source and target tables are on the same Oracle instance and schema.
I want to understand the role of: 'Logging CDC' and "IKM - incremental" and
How can I use it in my script?
In general, what are the relationships between "Logging" and 'IKM '?
Use both? Or maybe it's better deelte and insert the target tables?

I want to understand what is the role of "Logging CDC"?
Can 'IKM - incremental' work without "logging"?
Must 'Logging' have PK on the tables?
What should I do if I can't say PK (there may be several identical lines)?

    Yael thanks in advance

    Hello
    Thanks for your quick response!

No probs - its still fresh in memory I did a major project on this topic last year (400 tables, millions of lines per day (inserts, updates, deletes), sup-5 minute latency). The problem is it isn't that well written on the web, that you have read the blog of the example I linked to in my first answer? See also here: http://odiexperts.com/changed-data-capture-cdc/

    Always on logging:
My source table is inserted all the time.
The interface to join the source table in the target table.

In ODI, the correct term would be your source table "fits" in the table target, unless you mean literally that want to join the the source with the taget table table? My question if you want to do with the result of the join?

What exactly the "journaling" CDC updates?
It updates the model of ODI? interfaces? The source of data in the model of ODI? The target table?

Logging CDC configures and deploys the data capture mechanism (Triggers or log based capture, IE Logminer/streams/Goldengate) - it is not updated the model as such, she pointed out the metadata of the model of ODI repositoty as a CDC data store, allowing you, the developer say ODI to use log data if you wish (reported in the interface) There is no change in the target table, you get an indicator of metadata (IND_UPD) against a line during the integration (in C$ and I have tables$) that tells you if its insertion (I) and update (U) or deletion (D). It had ' lines allow you to synchronize the deletions, but yoy say its inserts only then you probably used use this option. "
So the only changes are the source table to your interface, another diary data (if you use logging) or the table of the actual source (if not using the logging).

This is the main thing that I don't understand!

    I hope I made a little clearer.

Try the following as a quick test:

Reverse a source table an engineer and the target (at least) table.
Import the update incremental LKM and IKM.
Import of the JKM you want to use.

Create an interface between the source and the target without any deployed JKM.
Configure the options of JKM on the model, the "Start log" to start the process of capture - this is quite a complex stage and a lot of things to understand what is happening in the source database, better to check code ODI sends to the database and to review the documentation of Oracle database for a description of what his weight (instantiate Tables (, sets of creating change, creation of subscribers etc. establishment of newspaper groups, creating views Journalising etc.) -you will need to consult your Source DBA database initially as ODI wants to make many changes to the source DB (in mode Archivelog process max, parallelism, size, Java etc.)

Now, edit your interface and mark the table source for use "Journalized data bank.
    Restart your interface
Compare the difference in the generated code in the journal of the operator, see the differences of the operator.

  • The number of bytes is the data type of "pixel"?

I'm relatively new to use Pixel Bender to process audio data, so I'm sorry for my lack of understanding of what follows.

I had a question about the data types 'pixel' and 'image' Pixel Bender.

I'm trying to understand code Kevin Goldsmith has written for his mixer 2 channels of audio and there seems to be a gap between the amount of data sent to the shader of PB, and the amount received when the buffer is sent to her for treatment.

Here is the link to the code:

    http://blogs.Adobe.com/Kevin.Goldsmith/2009/08/pixel_bender_au.html

At the top of the code, it says a "BUFFER" of 2048 constant:

    private public static var Buffer_size : uint = 0 x 800;

Then, in the processSound() function, he implemented an byteArray with a size of 16 384 bytes:

    shaderBuffer. length = BUFFER_SIZE * 2 * 4;     <---(échantillons stéréo 2048 * 2 * 4 octets/échantillon)

However, I am confused about the part where it defines a hypothetical image and sends the data to the shader:

    effectShader. data ["source"] . width = BUFFER_SIZE / 1024;     <---(2048 / 1024 = 2)

    effectShader. data ["source"] . height = 512 ;

From the code above, one can easily see that the size of the image is only 1024 "pixel" (2 * 512), and on the receiving end there is a "image.4" of variable entry expected to receive.  So far, I was under the assumption that a data type "image4" consists of a variable amount of pixels (determined by the size of the image that is food inside), each composed of 4 layers of color of 1 byte.  In this logic, each pixel in a data type "image4" should consist of 4 bytes.  Now, let's do the math: 4 bytes * 1024 pixels = 4096.

    4096 is not equal to 16 384!

How can feed you a 16 384 'byteArray' bytes in a variable "image4" of 4096 bytes?

I'm sorry to seem presumptuous to the explanation above, but I can not understand what is happening here!

The number of bytes is a 'pixel' in PB?  He holds float or integer values or both?

I've scoured the web to find these answers, but nothing helps!  Maybe I'm off the mark with my current understanding of the pixels and images in PB, but I need to understand this before I can move with the application that I do.

I am very grateful of any advice or information that someone can give.

    Thank you

    Matt

This is the Pixel Bender Language Reference:

"pixel1: represents the value of a single channel of an image." The name distinguishes this
single element pixel of a pixel which contains several channels. The pixel values are
    considered as 32-bit floating-point numbers. »

    32 bits = 4 bytes

If a channel is four bytes rather than that you have accessed. If this should explain the difference.

  • what you get when the sequence is used as output, tension or strain?

    Mr President

I m using scxi1520 with watchkeeping configuration, by setting the entry like strain, what value I get is not strain that I calculated analytically. someone told me that what value you get by that is tension not strain, I calculate strain from here by the formula.

I don't get that this is strain or tension.

I have an extensometer of 120 ohms with two gage factor. Please clear my doubt I have with this as soon as possible.

Think about the data being represented in different ways.  Your contribution is the strain.  The strain gauge that converts resistance.  The bridge becomes the resistance a tension.  An amplifier multiplies by a constant tension and perhaps subtracts an offset.  The analog digital converter changes the analog voltage to a sequence of tension with two possible values (0 to 5 V) at every moment in the (digital) sequence.  The computer processes these digital tensions as numbers that have a strong correlation with the amplitude of the analog voltage.

But you try to measure the deformation, so you don't really care voltage analog or digital, except that need to know the relationship between them and the original strain.

Your tension measures data acquisition system. You must provide conversion from units of the strain through calibration.

I know the 429 is DDR3 and the 450 is DDR5 what - what, can I replace the 420 to 450 and how do I

    Hello

There is a large performance difference and energy consumption.  Look at this comparison.

The 420 is a narrow card requiring only a single slot where the 450 is a map more wide which will cover the next adjacent location.  Look at the diagram for the motherboard of your PC. The GTS 450 requires a PCI-E power connector 6 pins provide the extra power for the card.

Open your PC and a few measurement in parallel with the PCI-E x 16 slot to see how long of a video card will fit. The adjacent slot on the PCI-E x 16 slot must be vacant.  Look for a PCI-E power connector 6-pin.

    ' HP ' how-to ' articles should be useful.
