  I'm not 100% sure but I think that there may be conflicts between the installed software and Windows Media Center. I have Toshiba USB DVB - T TV tuner and it works fine on my laptop preinstalled WXP professional.

  I tested it with Vista too and it works perfectly. If possible, test it on some PC pre-installed Windows XP edition home friends family or professional.

Only one of these printers may also appear online at the same time.   This happens because you have connected the printer to different USB ports.  The same thing happens when you connect any device (e.g., a mouse) on different USB ports, but unlike "Printers and faxes," Device Manager shows only the devices not present ("ghost") if deliberately do you.

  If having the extra icons printers and faxes you, right-click on it and select "Delete" - and then always connect your printer to the USB port.

  So I'm having a problem installing software called mobilink for my novatel usb wireless modem, actually it's not mine to someone else.  When installing the software directly from the usb port it will stop and say Error 1720.  He had the same problem with a modem former usb from the same manufacturer, but I managed to download the software directly from the manufacturer's website and installed without problem.  With the recent usb model, they do not offer the software online.  The Windows Installer is updated and saved, is this a problem with windows vista or any associated windows?   It is always profitable read the documentation provided with the device.  If you had, you would know that the software provided with it will allow you to fax documents directly from your computer without printing it and scanning first.  Download the software (and the user's guide - page 63- here.

  You should check with the software (s) itself.  PS/2 ports are being "gradually" and most advanced mouse drivers are declining the PS/2 ports.   The latest Microsoft Intellipoint drivers are "supposed" does not support PS/2 ports.

  I have a new PC running Windows 7 Home Premium and I'm having an unusual problem.  When I plugged my Razer Onza controller to the system, it was read and worked fine.  Then I installed the Windows Xbox 360 software for 64-bit systems.  My controller suddenly stopped working.  I unplugged it and when I plugged back it it, I get the error "no driver found".  I decided to try with a different joystick, power, and I get the same error.  I'm frustrated because I have that Windows looks for updated drivers and says none are available.  I uninstalled the 360 software and still nothing.  Any help on how to fix this?  Microsoft 360 controllers I only are wireless and I can't buy more because I have several.

  Restoration of a previous update fix this?  Unistalling my USB drivers and let Windows start from scratch?  Please, any reasonable suggestion would be good.
