  I pulled the power, battery fully charged if computer remained on. When I reconnected it the power, the screen went blank (black). I tried to hit the SPACEBAR, move mouse, etc. in order to bring the screen back on. No joy. Fan has started, but no image of the screen. Had to stop or reverse to put the system up. Sure, windows said that he had known a bad close and asked if I wanted to start in SafeMode etc. Just start normally and windows went very well.

  Laptop is a HP Envy 17 Windows 7 with SP1 applied.

  I know not how to set up all my information, I guess its called BIOS, but I have a Dell Latitude D531, there AMD Turion 64 X 2 TL - 56, 1 GB of RAM, using SP2, using a loader and OEM (I highly doubt the battery and the charger are the problem, but I thought I should mention that).

  If you need more information, I am more than welcome to do so long that you're ready to tell me how to find if I have trouble.

  Diagnosis

  The video "Refresh" is switching between 60 (on food) and 50 Hz (on battery), and the screen goes momentarily empty.

  Solution

  So what about current alternative, office > right click > properties > settings > advanced > monitor. Here, under the display settings, set the refresh rate of the screen at 50 Hertz. After you apply these settings, the flashing problem gets fixed.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

  Hi all

  Anyone know what could be the reason for the screen goes black and turns off when the laptop wakes up?
  The laptop is Toshiba Portege Z830 - 11 M W7HP, purchased in September.

  The problem started shortly after I bought the laptop, but gradually began with a period of 1-2 seconds black screen whenever I tried to wake the portable computer of fashion 'sleep'. He didn't look like a regular part "blackout" of the wake-up process so I just tried to ignore it, but it started to happen more often recently. It got really worse after two months of use and the black screen two or three times until I'm at the login screen. The error was also difficult to re-create because it was random.   Okay, so I have an iPhone 5 c (get back in. 2013?) and it fell literally in less than 2 inches above the ground, and now it's just Black Gloss.

  It doesn't sound like your iPhone is booting and working except for the black screen. I don't know if he responds to Siri, but it looks like it would be another good test.

  When did start?  I have the same problem for about 3 days.  I downloaded and applied update of OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 Combo, ran disk utility and ran disk first aid.  Have not had a problem since (touch wood because it is only since the mid morning today).
