WiFi Broadcom 4313 problems?

Hello

I added to the origin of this assistance on another thread, but it has stalled. Then I will try once again, before I was trash this almost new computer.

I have the small wireless card Broadcom 4313, supplied with my laptop HP 625. NO settings have been changed before that happened.

The internet connection has stopped suddenly, with no warning signs, about two weeks ago. I have 'Limited access' to my router. I can access my router wireless of several other laptops (and even a macbook). I have a reading of full bar of 5 on 5 to connect to my router (which is only 20 ft from my office).

I have since removed and reinstalled the drivers, including using the latest version of the driver 'SP60504 '.

I tried to force Win7 to install the 'fresh' driver, by the opening at the bottom of the laptop, removing the wireless card, restarting, reinstall the wireless card, reboot again and then reinstall the driver. Same as above, limited access.

On a suggestion, I tried to access the router by a cable ethernet and WHAT (?), no internet access either. I tried another laptop and I could access the internet without any problem. Yes, I rebooted my router. Still no change.

So here's my question... what gives? The laptop works very well. I even considered a new Intel wireless card not Broadcom. But if I can not connect to wireless OR cable (ethernet), then it I don't think it's a problem of wireless card. I think I have a problem of conflict.

I tried a few other similar problems and the solutions that other owners have had, to the point that I fell asleep because there is so much reading.

Someone can help or have any other suggestions?

I'm sorry that you're currently running on these issues, but you did a great job of troubleshooting so far.

What anti-viurses, security software, registry cleaners you have installed?

The fact that it worked originally and he stopped abruptly and wired and wireless connections are affected, gives to think that it's a firewall or other software (maybe and update?) question. I saw on some other threads where having multiple installed anti-viruses/security applications can cause this exactly the same problem.

Also, please provide the number of your product in your response if you have a chance. Here are the steps to finding your product number.

    Right-click on the computer click Properties-, and then click Device Manager.

    Right-click on Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n (in network adapters), and then click on uninstall.  Check box to remove the driver for this device.  You should be uninstall driver version 5.60.350.6 dated dated 22/03/10

    Reboot, and then install the driver from the URL above.  This is the version 5.60.18.41dated 10/23/09.

    So far, I'm 2 for 2 with my wireless works now.

    My guess is that HP will have to come out with a new driver to fix this new conflict with WIn7.

    The old version of the Broadcom wireless driver has not fixed the problem.  WiFi was always intermittent.  Sometimes she would see my wireless home and sometimes she would bring free wireless.  I tried various things throughout the weekend.

    Last night I went to windows update and it says there are two updates to install.  One of them was

    Microsoft Update driver for Realtek RTL8102E/RTL8103E Family PCI - E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)

    Well after I did this update as all my problems wireless went.  Maybe the Realtek driver has demolished the Broadcom wireless.  I think that HP knew there was a problem and got Microsoft to send the update to fix.it.  Just my guess.

    Hi, I just bought this adapter WLAN HP G62-b13SA Notebook PC is Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n his work well on WPA - PSK TKIP, but when I am trying to connect to my WIFI with WPA2-PSK AES or TKIP its not connecting any tried the upgrade and downgrade the driver but still no problem solved. same did the same thing with the ACCESS POINT which is Zyxel G-570. ideas how its going to work or it just does not support WPA2 to all?

    I had a similar problem with this network adapter. I could see the networks, the signal strength was excellent, but whenever I tried to connect, it failed. Several times he connected successfully, but the connection lost after a few minutes. In any case, I managed to fix after spending several hours playing with the options on the Advanced page of the driver. That's what I have now:

    802.11n preamble: Mixed Mode (this is a must if you are networked mixed g/n)

    Afterburner: disabled (not sure about that)

    AP compatibility mode: superior performance (I have a router standards)

    Bluetooth collaboration: disable (everything started work immediately after I disabled it)

    BT - AMP: disabled (not sure about that)

    Mixed cell support: disabled (this is not necessary for typical wifi networks)

    Technology XPress (TM): disabled (not sure, that's something for the performance of g)

    Other options are default values. I use a pilot boarded through Windows Update.

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    I understand that since the upgrade of Windows 8 for Windows 10 your Wi - Fi works fine, but after awhile the icon won't say no Internet and you will need to disable and re-enable the adapter to regain access to the Internet.

    Would check you this setting.

    • Go to the Device Manager
    • Click the network card to expand the list
    • Right-click on the adapter that is listed and choose Properties
    • Click the power management tab
    • If "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is ticked, please remove it.
    • Click OK
    • Repeat the process above listed all types of adapters.

    I bought a Tablet still 8 a few weeks ago and just after the first start, I found a problem in the reception of the wireless signal.

    When I restarted, I found the same problem as before.

    Check if the WLan option in windows power management (using Central) has been defined in the performance.

    You should also go to Device Manager-> card WLan-> properties-> Advanced tab
    Here you will find a few options that could improve the performance of Wlan.

  • GPS, Wifi and Bluetooth problems

    So I have an iPhone 6 running on IOS 9.3.4 and have had problems with the GPS and the strength of wifi connectivity and bluetooth for a while now.

    First of all, the GPS.  It does not work.  When I run the maps or google maps on my device and the input an address the app can give me a written plan, location, but will not show me on a map.  He'll start road to everywhere where I go and tell me to start position, for example, to the North on the road on that I am, but the arrow does not follow me and tell me when the turn or where I am.  Occasionally, he has a message of guidance down with a spinning wheel and then, after a few seconds, disappears.  I tried to reboot my device several times, I have reset the network setting, I reset all of the settings, I backed up my phone, reset it and recovered save him.  Nothing has worked.  I was at my local verizon store and received a 'new' (its definitely refurbished) phone and the problem persists on the new phone.  I reset the phone to factory setting without content, set up as a new phone and tried the cards again, thinking it might be a problem with the back to the top.  It still does not work.  I'm perplexed right now and do not know what to do/try.

    Second, wifi and bluetooth connectivity is terrible.  I can only receive a wireless signal so that in very close proximity with the router.  I tried to different houses/companies and it is the same question.  However, bluetooth is just as bad.  I use headphones wireless, and go to the gym/go for the route with them.  I used to be able to walk around the gym without my phone and have connected the headphones, but now I can't have my phone 2 feet of the appliance without the music being agitated (bad connection).  I'm really irritated that I cannot understand this point and that he can't seem to find a fixed solution online.

    If you have just updated to iOS 9.3.4, which I didn't even know still shone, so maybe it's a bug that comes with the update.     I run to OS X El Capitan 10.11.5. Since the upgrade to El Capitan, I have Wifi connectivity problems.  My wifi turns either on a random or it will appear under the name now, but I wont have all internet pages will be just stuck on loading. This occurs only at home, I think not that the fault lies with the router because as I said I have the same router with respect, before moving to El Capitan and before the upgrade, I had this problem. This has become incredibly annoying because I have to turn the wifi and turns off again and sometimes the wifi is just stuck on being extremely slow to the point where even my phone a much faster connection. I really need a fix for this because it became unbearable.

I checked the drivers, updates them, uninstalled them and bought a new Wlan card but still no improvement. I tried to alsi an external usb wifi dongle but still the same problem. I was wondering if it was a problem with the 10 widows and looked at installing windows 7 but that seems an another headache.

    Description of the problem:

    Impossible to install the WiFi driver. Tried all 3 drivers provided on the support site: Ralink, Realtek & Intel WiMAX. All 3 installers indicate either the WiFi card was not found / detected or the installation program just hangs.

    Changes to the system:

    A clean install of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit DVD VL - required to connect to our domain controller.

    Found a solution.

    (1) to restore the system to factory settings

    (2) save C:\SWSetup\Drivers file on a USB

    (3) install Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

    (4) copy C:\SWSetup\Drivers on HD

    (5) install device drivers

    I plug a few days ago a YOGA-10 Tablet (data system below).

    I am facing two problems:

    (a) my wireless is very poor. I am often out of wifi coverage and everyone around, with other devices work fine.

    (b) I need the Yoga-10 to test GPS based applications.

    However the GPS is too often lacking.

    I also use MobiWIA GPS status & Toolbox app and trip a 50 kms with my Yoga in the front seat, I get 0 fixed satellites (although only visible 10-11) on 80% of the time (other devices get 100% coverage).

    Any suggestion?

    BTW, as far as I understand, Yoga-1 does not support satellite Glonass, right?
