  If you have the original CD, it get a L3 uninstall program and run that.  It will remove completely from your software.

  Reinstall the software from hp.com.

I tried many kinds of 4 k screens, including u28e590d, u24e590d, p2716q etc., but none of them is waking up after sleep. the only resolution is to disconnect and reconnect the thunderbolt (view port) cable a thunderbolt different port.
