Windows 7 do not send documents to Hp Officejet Pro 8625

Someone had a problem with Windows 7 release do not with the HP Officejet Pro 8625 all in one.  I can print wireless from my Mac Book Pro, but not from my Acer laptop with Windows 7.  When I send a document to print from my Windows 7, I would like to scroll over the icon in the task bar printer, he would say

"the '0' documents pending administrator" and would not print then the icon disappears.  Help!

Although the term "recovery disc" is used for various different things, if you did in fact a set of recovery disks (i.e. more), they are used to restore your computer to the State in which it was when you made them.  See, for example, https://neosmart.net/wiki/acer-recovery-disk/#Create_the_recovery_disk_in_Windows_7 that you probably don't want to do except that really a last resort.

If you have actually done a Windows 7 "repair disk" (which is a single disk), which in itself may not reset the administrator password, but read on.

What is the password for the built-in Administrator account is, Microsoft (that hosts these forums) has a policy that does not allow anyone to give advice on these forums on move the lost passwords.

See http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-security/keeping-passwords-secure-microsoft-policy-on/39f56ef0-5d68-41ad-9daa-6e6019c25d37

About all I can tell you is that it is possible to reset the administrator password.  Google is your friend.

    Hello

In Control Panel, select devices and printers.

Right-click on the printer 8620, and then select set as default printer.

Select the printer listed without 'Fax' in its name and confirm.

    Hello

I found the answer to that by trawling for ever, it IS a HP PROBLEM, ARE YOU listening TO HP?

the fact is that the printer driver will agree that a system administrator to print from some programs, Adobe, Office, Wordpad there more, but if you apply this fix, they will print

go to the HEART control PANEL > USER ACCOUNTS > CHANGE USER ACCOUNT SETTINGS.

Drag the slider to the bottom never notify, and then restart your computer.

    works on windows 7

Indeed, you raise your account to an admin sys, but if HP has got their act together, they would sort this issue, because it is everywhere in their forums.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8625: Windows 10 and OfficeJet Pro 8625

I've updated Windows 8.1 and now when I try to scan and send the results directly to the computer on a wired network connection, I get an error message stating "The HP Officejet Pro 8620 is not found".

    The printer works fine.

I reinstalled the drivers (which makes disturbing do not mention Windows 10) and the problem still exists.

    Can anyone help?

    @kamagee

It's disturbing, especially because it is in direct contradiction with the documentation that you should be OK.

You could try a number of things, simply because the reinstallation of the drivers may not "had" correctly.

If you don't have already done, download a copy of the software full functionality of the Web site of the printer Support page:

  • HP officejet pro 8625: Windows 10 DIFFICULTY for my hp officejet pro 8625 -.

My HP Officejet Pro 8625 has stopped working with my Windows 10 HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC (wireless) after update Version 1607 KB3194496.

My computer can still print to our HP 8600 printer wireless.  We have another laptop (HPEnvy-windows 10) and we can always print on a printer (8600 & 8625) via wifi with this portable HP Envy.

I tried to connect the 8625 to my router with an ethernet connection.   The process of "add a printer" cannot find the printer.

The printer IS definitely on the wifi network.

I deleted the printer software and reinstalled.

I turned everything market and stop several times.

For a few days, my laptop has been blocked in the start with a blank screen mode and only the circle of points showing.  Finally, I got after the frustration only to learn that my computer will not "talk" to my printer.

My drivers are up to date.  I went through the troubleshooting of HP.  No problems are found with the printer or the network.

I received an error somewhere along the line that my cell no is not connected to the network... which is not true.

    FRUSTRATION!

  • OfficeJet Pro 862: Officejet Pro 8625 not print wireless

Printer worked and printed wireless for a few months and then all of a sudden it stopped being able to print wireless.

But when I print a word file of MS office since T430 victory 8.1 portable, the printing pool show status 'Impression' and then disappeared. In the Officejet 8625 Panel, there is a "Print report" message flashed in very shot time. Then nothing happans.

I tried to reinstall the printer, use the HP printer help and HP print and Scan doctor, even check the status of the printer in Web Serive printer, everything looks Ok. In the embedded Web server, tools-> Magagement job-> Job Monitor, the stutas of work says 'done '.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Hey @ziyoo,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I would like to help you to solve the problem that you are experiencing when you try to print from your computer Windows 8.1 wireless to your HP Officejet Pro 8625 e-all-in-one printer today. Thank you for all the troubleshooting steps you tried before reaching out for support. Right now, I don't think the wireless printing problem that you are experiencing is caused by your printer or your network connection. On the contrary, I believe that the wireless printing problem is caused by your operating system.

Recently, Microsoft has released a hotfix to correct network printing issues in their Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 operating systems. These wireless printing problems consist of 'partial printing' and questions 'offline '. The questions seem to affect several brands and models of wireless printers. Can I have it please click here to download the fix. Once the site opens, please click on the available hotfix downloadbutton. Please follow the prompts on the screen to install the hotfix. Once the hotfix has been installed please try again to print.  If printing still does not work you need to restart your computer to allow the Hot Fix to take affect. Once your computer turns please try again to print.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. Good luck!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8625: Officejet Pro 8625 - print preview is not available

I just bought the Officejet Pro 8625. My last 2 HP printers had a preview option print that I can put by default, so I can listen to excerpts or my custom print job to afford to cancel or specify if necessary pages. Now, I'm wasting paper and ink not knowing how the work will look like before committing the print job. Miss me that it allow me to preview before printing? HP has a software update to resolve this issue, or they didn't neglect it? Why they would remove this option? I can go back and is no longer buy HP products more because of this.

    Hi @troendlyj,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I hate to be the bearer or bad news, but I think that's going to be the role here today

The feature print preview in previous versions of the software is more included. Some programs may have built based on preview before printing for you to use, but if not it not there no other option available from the printing software preview.

I hope that answers the question, even if it wasn't the answer you were hoping for!

  • HP scanner not work on the new Officejet Pro 8600

    Hello

I have a brand new Officejet Pro 8600 Premium and a not scan using the HP scanning application.  When I click on the "Scan" button, I finally have a message that says "Sanner reported an error Impossible to log on to the device.  I am able to print without any problems.

I've updated all the software with the latest version from the HP website.  I'm on OS X Lion of the mountains (10.8).  I am also unable to perform a scan by using the picture Capture application in my folder of the application.  When I try to use this application, all the buttons are gray, so that I can not click on them.

    Thank you

    Chris

I was able to fix this on my own.  I discovered that SNMP has been disabled in the settings of the printer.  Once I enabled it, not only the scanner started to operate via HP Scan, but the HP utility has been able to identify and change the settings of the printer, where before it only showed the printer as 'unknown '.

  • Presets does not work; 10.5.8; OfficeJet Pro 8000n

    Hello all-

I have been using a Business Inkjet 1100d for many years without difficulty.  I created several gifts that worked perfectly.  Currently 10.5.8 System.

I just bought a new Officejet Pro 8000n and installed all the new software from the CD provided.  I have conducted an audit of the updates and there is not.  The new 2nd printer appear in the familiar print as well as the old printer dialog box.  Each printer can be selected and will work.  However the presets do not work.

I created new presets with the new selected printer.  I tested the print configuration I saved the preset with and it prints properly (plain paper, rough paper, 2 faces, 8 1/2 x 11 letter, etc., auto source, etc...)  However when I use the preset created for printing it does not work.

When I change to the new printer to a job, changes in paper size to 8 1/2 x 11 borderless, 2 sides print is disabled, paper is on HP Advanced Photo paper, quality is set to Normal and Source is set to 1 Board.  Selection of one of the presets, for the old 1100D or those newly created for the 8000n have no effect and do not change any of these settings.  I have to manually change each setting whenever I print.

If I leave the printer selected as the (default) 1100D old presets work correctly (but not the other).  I tried to delete and re-create the new preset several times without success.

Most of the posts on this topic, I found in looking here seem to relate to the system 10.6, 10.5. not, and so far I have found no obvious answer.  I can't take the time to go through all the settings and change each one for each print job manually.  85% + of my print jobs are project, 2-sided, paper tray 2.

I've seen a number of messages about problems with the presets does not not in research, so I guess I'm not alone.  Someone at - it any other suggestions?  Thank you.

Symptom: when you try to use a "Preset" either he does not when you press print or preset will not apply at all.

Cause: some settings in the print dialog box are specific Application (YOU), in other words, when you call printing, parameters are passed by the application to the print dialog.  What parameters are ALSO may be different with different applications.  For example, HP says that in Safari are WHERE: matching colors, manipulation of the paper, cover Page and Planner.

In applications that have a 'layout' menu, Type of paper, Orientation, and scale are ACE and NOT stored in the presets (or default rollover of the application). They are passed to the dialog box print from 'Page layout' of the application.

If no settings in your conflict set with any of the AS specifications that have been put in the dialog print, your willingness to preset NOT work.  For example, if your Type of paper of PHOTO, but your preset specifies the project, or 2-sided printing.

1-step workaround: the good news is that AS the parameters are modifiable.  Go to your dialog box print and change the setting that conflicts with your preset. For example, replace Type of Photo paper to US letter. Now, when you apply your preset, it will work correctly.

Solution: most of the conflicts can be addressed in the layout of the application menu. Go to the menu and change the incompatible parameter, for example, Type of paper.  (You may need to save the new configuration to the default settings Page.  If you do not want these new Page Setup default settings for this application, you must create a new preset with specifications that are compatible with existing by default the Page Setup application)

Exception to the Solution: many (but not all) applications Apple have an anomaly (in the system 10.5, not sure about 10.4) where they pass all parameters AS well.   Examples of affected Apple applications include Safari, TextEdit and preview.  Apple applications that are not affected by this issue include both disk and network utility, QuickTime Player, editor of Script and Automator.  (It may be little 3rd party applications affected as well).  A complete list of applications assigned and unassigned (found on my system) is listed in the message 2 above.

Apple's technical support attributes this to the fact that OS 10.5 is not 100% compatible with the new printers HP (software).  (10.6 is 100% compatible they say).  Apple suggested that Safari and other applications Apple passing the wrong Type of the dialog box's default paper print do due to the partial incompatibility of the system 10.5 with model new HP printer software.  They had no work around to suggest.

Bottom line, for Safari, TextEdit, and other problem Apple apps I listed in my applications list (see above), my solution of 1-step workaround apparently is the only solution available.  When you upgrade to Snow Leopard, you should no longer have the problem.  But, if you're on a Power PC Mac and impossible to move beyond Leopard, you're stuck with my 1-step solution.

1-step workaround above works with all the applications involved however.
