Initialization of a wireless automatically before windows logon?
I'm trying to deploy software updates on a network by using active directory. The update is supposed to install before windows logon. It works correctly on a computer that is connected through the LAN, but the update does not install when the ethernet cable is disconnected. I guess that's because it cannot access the network share and that is it connected to the network wireless before opening of session that it would install.
Question:
Is it possible to automatically initiate a connection before login?
Any help would be appreciated :)

Hello
Unlike hardware wire wireless current connection depends on much more than the operating system currently running.
As far as I KNOW, there is daily work on this issue, because we are talking about and fortunately this will be better in the future with new Chipsets andRradios.
In any case try to post here also.

You can also turn on automatic logon without editing the registry in Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional on a computer that is not joined to a domain. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Startand then click run.
- In the Open box, type control userpasswords2, and then click OK.
Note When users try to view help in the window information user accounts on Windows XP Home Edition, the help information is not displayed. Additionally, users receive the following error message:
Cannot find the: \Windows\System32\users.hlp Help file. Check that the file exists on your hard drive. If it does not exist, you must reinstall it. - Clear the "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" option, and then click apply.
- In the automatically on log window, type the password in the password box, and then retype the password in the Confirm password box.
- Click OK to close the window automatically on Journal , and then click OK to close the user accounts window.

Windows Vista automatically locks the computer.
I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 with Windows Vista business with service pack 2 installed and kept up-to-date. I noticed that, after a few minutes of inactivity on my computer, Windows locks automatically the computer. By that I mean it will act as if I had pressed the "lock" button and return to the sign in the display. I am running Norton 360 antivirus program and have in the past to run Mcafee. Does anyone know why the event occurred, or particularly how to solve this problem, because it has become more than a nuisance.
Thank you.Try this:

I had my Officejet 6500 E709n for about 4 + years and use it wireless network with my network router. I upgraded my laptop (Toshiba Satellite) (as of December 2014) 8.1 to win to win 10 this week. The upgrade itself went smooth but I had to update the driver from the HP website. Now, I noticed that when I take my Windows logon, I see a pop-up that my HP printer is paused. I noticed it first last night and again this morning. What gives? I thought about posting this here, first to check if anyone else has noticed this.
Thanks Waterboy71! Strangely, when I rebooted after posting my question, I don't see the message "Paused". Very strange.

You can create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and replace the file, but it may be easier for you to make boot CD of a Hren.
When you start the Hiren's CD, choose the XP Mode of Mini and it has an interface in XP style Explorer where you can find and replace the winlogon.exe suspicious or missing file.
There should be a copy of winlogon.exe here:
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
Rename your current c:\windows\system32\winlogon.exe file (if it exists) and copy / paste the replacement of c:\windows\system32\dllcache. If you do not see here, search your HARD drive and find one. Another possibility (depending on your environment) is c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386, or c:\i386 d:\i386...
You just need to replace the file winlogon.exe somehow.
When you are finished replacing, restart as usual (remove the CD bootable of course).
With the help of Hiren, you can also copy offshore on an external device (USB key or HARD drive), all personal security files.
Do you have a Hiren BootCD you can download here:
On the left, click on download, scroll down, choose the latest version, the download link is a little hard to see. It is at the bottom of the page, above the drop for older versions and looks like this (click this component to download the ZIP file):
Direct HTTP mirror + Torrent, Torrent Magnet
Click the "Live HTTP Mirror" link to start the download and save the ZIP file on your desktop of somewhere that you can remember.
The ZIP file is large, so the download will take probably some time to complete. Then unzip the download to extract the Hirens.BootCD.ISO file that will be used to create your new bootable CD.
Create a bootable CD. ISO file is not the same as simply copying the. File ISO onto a blank CD. You must use software that includes how to burn a. ISO to a CD to create a bootable CD.
File ZIP the Hiren is the file BurnToCD.cmd that you can double-click to launch it. The BurnToCD.cmd will use the file BurnCDCC.exe to burn the. ISO file onto a blank CD using your existing CD burner. You can also use your own burning software as long as your software is able to create a bootable CD. ISO file. More modern burning programs can create a bootable CD. ISO image. Create a CD from an ISO image bootable is not the same as just the file on a CD burning.
If you need a simple and CD burning, this is a free software popular software:
Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:
http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61
It would be a good idea to test your new bootable CD on a computer running.
You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.
These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load. If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.
When starting on the Hiren's CD, you will see a menu of options. Choose Mini XP. It will appear while Windows is loading and you will be presented with a desktop computer that has the look and feel of the interface of Windows Explorer, you are already accustomed to using.
Using the Mini XP, you can access Internet, maneuvering around your system, search for files, copy files, replace the files and run the scans for malware, edit the text files (like the c:\boot.ini) etc.
There are dozens of free and useful tools included in the CD that can be used to repair your system or copy your important personal files on another device (like a USB device or an external drive) in the case where you just give up and decide to reinstall your XP (I hope that you will not make this decision).
Do, or do not. There is no test.

When I double click on a folder, a search window opens automatically.
When I double click on a folder, a search window opens automatically instead of the usual view of Windows Explorer that displays the contents of the folder. I must in order to display the contents of the folder, right click and select open, then I can see the contents of the folder. What setting do I change to stop the search engine to open and have the regular Windows Explorer mode appear? Oh, when I right click in the folder, the search option is bold, but the open option is regular.

Can you assign the time of windows logon minutes rather than hours?
Can you assign the time of windows logon minutes rather than hours?
If you are referring to the TIME parameter net user, which is limited to increments of one hour.
If you want to control (and the ability to force logoff as well), you will need to use a third party software. Access Boss a 15 minute granularity. I'm sure like many other applications, probably some of free.
If you only want to restrict Internet access (rather than access to the computer itself), your router may be able to restrict access with granularity to minutes. "Parental control" software, such as NetNanny, also restrict Internet access, although that usually not at the minute.

When I turn on my computer, a blue screen appears and it says: 'the windows logon system process done unexpectedly...... closed system '. "what this means?
I forgot to answer one question:
You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?
The most likely problem is that this file is missing:
c:\windows\system32\winlogon.exe
It might have been put in quarantine (actually deleted) by your antimalware/antivirus program, if you need to replace it. There are other copies of the file on your system, which you can use to replace the missing file.
You have to boot your system on something to do that, so if you have no real XP bootable installation CD, make a CD bootable XP (no XP media required) Recovery Console.
Sometimes there is a problem to get into XP with XP Home Recovery Console, but work on this first, then we will see the replacement of the file:
If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.
This is not the same as recovery disks that may have come to a store to purchase the system.
You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.
The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:
xp_rec_con. ISO
Download the ISO from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig
Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:
Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

Press any key to boot from CD...
Installing Windows... going to pronounce.
Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.
Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)
You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).
You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS. It's the same as the
C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.
The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.
For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:
A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.
In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.
Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem. It won't hurt anything to run it.
Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:
CHKDSK C: /r
Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.
It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck". Be patient. If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something. Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress. It may even seem to go back sometime.
You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.
When own running chkdsk/r, we can replace the file.

Windows xp automatic camera detection
Hey,.
I have an Olympus Stylus Tough-3000 digital camera and Windows XP Professional. It works on my Windows 7 computer, but when I plug it to my XP computer, all I hear is the sound, and then get a box that says 'choose what program to use with your device.' There is not in the list, so I downloaded Picasa 3, but it won't work. And when I go to scanners and cameras then plug my camera, my camera icon appears briefly and then disappears. Help, please!Maybe something in the following collection of suggestions (already posted

change is dependent on the type of camera you have) and you are now ready to
