    Hi Authorsz18,

You are able to hear the music in the preview?

Try to adjust the volume of an audio clip in the audio / music. And add music from the disc hard if you added songs to a DVD.
    1. right click on the audio clip > volume
2 adjust the volume with the cursor.

    Hello

I have Vista Home Basic and whenever I publish a movie in Windows Movie Maker, even if I don't cut and regardless of the length of the film, if its 3 minutes and 3 seconds, the end result is that the video is compressed vertically and the lower half of it is a green screen Uni. Half top shows the entire video, but she is crushed to half its normal height. Even the icon on my desktop shows the Green band at the bottom half. Before that, all right. I can change everything normally, but when he did publish, the final product is messed up. I don't get an error message. The files I'm trying to edit/publish are. AVI. I don't have any other file types to test and see if it's only this type of file, originally a problem.

  • Windows Movie Maker-hardware error?

While trying to save/burn a movie on Windows Movie Maker project, I worked, I got the following error message:

"Windows Movie Maker can not be used because the required audio hardware is not found on your computer."

Please help, its a long time that I've used WMM, but I used many times before and would be eaten: lose my project, thank you.

It could be a codec/filter disabled, or inconsistent. In Movie Maker-> tools-> Options-> tab compatibility-> filters, see if your audio filters are checked (all others must be verified), if you haven't put the brakes on their topic.  If all are already checked, click on the "Restore all defaults" button. Other filters will be disabled, you may still need those disabled to run other programs installed them. Enable disabled filter a while then check that filter out the origin of the problem.

If this does not work, it may be more of a need to get an extra codec rather than switch off. You can use the encoded Xvid or Divx files you need codecs. Make a search for K-Lite, DivX and XviD codecs and install them.

    Just some thoughts...

This happens usually when the source files are
not totally compatible and also may be linked
    transitions.

In Movie Maker, you could try to go into tools.
Options / Compatibility tab and disable all
    the filters.
