• J3608 JO stuck in fax mode

  I work for an office and have a interstate remote user who has the J3608. When I went interstate to configure everything for her, I got the printer running which was good.

  I have two Satellites with the same applications, it works perfectly, but it does not sleep. The old PC running Windows 7 32, the new PC running Windows 7 64 with Toshibas own power management utility.

  I tried to change the power management settings in Windows 7 and this has not solved the problem. The computer won't sleep on a network or in battery mode. The PC is a C650-1CN, bios has been upgraded to 1.5 and it has 4 M of RAM.

  Have you tried to change the different time for mode 'sleep'?
  How about processes that are running in the background?
  These running processes can prevent the notebook to access the mode 'sleep'.

  I have a HP Pavlillion, which is about 3 years old. Recently the comeputer going on "standby mode" (or when I put it in mode "sleep"), but continuous computer to go in and out of fashion 'sleep'. It is as if the computer goes in "standby mode" then about 10 min. later, it seems that the computer wakes up by itself (However the monitor isn't waking up). The monitor and the computer will wake up if I move the mouse or whatever. But now I just turn off the computer completely every night. Any ideas why this could happen and is there a way to fix it?

  I understand that you think that your computer is going in and out of fashion 'sleep' but the screen remains in standby mode and both the monitor and the computer when you use the mouse or the keyboard. I suspect that what you think is the computer wake up is actually planned a background running process or activity.   My laptop (Dell latitude E6510) is not want of sleep / hibernate when I open webpages (Chrome). OS = XP.  If I click on standby, it just hangs. As soon as I close the Web pages, it is, even if I have other things open. He has only started this about 3 weeks ago.  Anything else causes, only open Web pages.

  Unfortunately, I got things running for awhile which I cannot test Stand By and Hibernate with this new version of Chrome, until they end :-((hours) and I'm too lazy to go to another system since I can't reproduce the problem.
