NTOSKRNL. EXE missing - access denied whiletrying to copy CDs
Hi all
I use Win XP Sp3.
When I tried to start, I got the following error "missing NTOSKRNL.exe.
I used the win XP CD to start in Restore Mode.
Go to the command prompt after you enter the credentials & entered copy d:\i386\ntoskrnl.exe c:\windows\system32\*.*
By entering in this I get the error "access denied."
Somone kindly indicate how to copy the file ntoskrl.exe missing in the c:\windows\system32 folder
Kind regards
Thaddeus Fernandes
E-mail address is removed from the privacy *.
Try again with the full path instead of jokers:
copy d:\i386\ntoskrnl.exe c:\windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
I think you might need to expand the file instead of copy:
For single-processor systems:
Expand D:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exeFor multiprocessor systems:
Expand D:\i386\ntkrnlmp.ex_ C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exeNote that it is often a problem with the boot.ini file, and not a ntoskrnl missing actually. See here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314477

Winload.exe missing or damaged application
Windows opens with the boot manager asks me to insert the windows installation disc reads the Message on the page windows file: \windows\system32\winload.exe status: 0xc000000e Info: the selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt
PS: do not have a Setup disk

That's not good.
I think that the system or recovery disk is your last resort.
If your laptop belongs to the European series of Toshiba you can order this disc here:

Hello
You mean that you are not able to recover the laptop using the HDD recovery procedure?
You can begin the HARD drive by pressing F8, choose fix my computer.
Then a new window should appear and you could choose a new option called Toshiba HDD recovery. If this is not possible then I think that you don't have a choice but to reinstall the OS using a Setup (Microsoft or Toshiba) disk.
If you don t have this disc then you order on this website:

. Exe missing DAQmx subVIs
Hi all
I built an installer for my .exe. I have included:
1 OR LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 2012 SP1
2 NOR-DAQmx Base Runtime 9.6.2
3 NOR-DAQmx Configuration MAX 9.6.2 Support
The computer I did the VI is a Windows XP computer. The computer I want to run the installer is a freshly installed Windows 7 machine. When I try to run the installer, I get the following error:
Missing Subvi DAQmx create Task.vi... lack of sub - VI DAQmx create channel (TEDS-A1-tension-Basic) .vi.... Missing Timing VI (sample clock)... Missing control task.VI... Missing clear task.VI... Task.VI stop missing... Lack of function external nilvaiu.*AQReadNChanNSamp1DWfm:C...
Looks like I'm missing VI DAQmx, yet I've included DAQmx in installer.
Thank you.
I know this sounds like a stupid question, but have you run set - up.exe
volume? You can open MAX on the target machine? If Yes, what are the software components are listed? Did restart you to complete the installation? My 8-Ball is screaming that this is a simple mistake that will involve a time

run missing files rundll32.exe missing. Unable to open many programs
Infection Trojan horse on Sunday, McAfee detected and removed on Monday. run missing files missing rundll32.exe can't open most of the programs without having to 'open with' quick screen. Have tried the solutions to similar problems, without success. Cannot use the restore system or clickfree. AM running xp service pack 3, any suggestions?
He hides on your part.
The dllcache folder is a hidden system folder (normally).
The dllcache folder is where XP keeps copies of important system files. Windows file protection monitors these files when your system is working and if it happen never disappeared, PAM quickly and quietly replace it using the copy in the dllcache folder - this is why you put the rundll32.exe file in both places... One in the dllcache folder is the backup.
If you want to use Windows search, you need to go to the Advanced Options section and select the search system folders and enable folders and files hidden research.
If you use Solution Explorer, while you're looking in the c:\windows\system32 folder, you must:
Click on tools
Click on the folder view tab Options
Enable: Display the hidden files and folders
Disable (uncheck): Hide extensions of known file types
Disable (uncheck): Hide protected operating system filesThen, you'll be able to find and navigate in the dllcache folder.
When you are finished, you can set your options to view back the way they were then you don't have an accident one day in one of these folders.

File rundll32.exe missing
Hello! My problem is that whenever I turn on my computer, I get the error message saying that the file c:windows\system32\rundll32.exe is missing... while booting and I get an error popup saying my firewall prot. is turned off... my automatic updates is OFF... it's just a waste.
I bought my BB laptop and Windows XP was already installed so I don't have a CD available. Is there another way? Please email VERY much appreciated! Thank you
I have two solutions for this:
1 - C:\Windows\System32 if you can't find rundll32.exe go to C:\Windows\winsxs
and search for rundll32.exe if found copy in C:\Windows\System32
Note: display of file Extensions must be enabled in the browser, organizing options
2 - Use another computer with the same version of xp and a flash drive copy C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe in the other computer to C:\Windows\System32 in your computer

C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe Application missing - this is the error I get trying to start programs from the start menu. Also, I get errors on the .exe files in the control panel. I can't pull up in my sound options to change the speakers to the headphones, it affects everything. I have the rundll32.exe file but for some reason it isn't let me pull up anything. I can pull some things as an administrator. Most of the programs will shoot to the top of the window 'Open with' and I don't really know what opens to some things, like the sound options window. What is the cause? And how can I solve this problem?

Now, I get the "there has been a change in software/hardware to the system; Winload is missing or corrupted"error and does not start for Vista Business. I can get to quick system via the Recovery Console, but it does show X: and doesn't let me change to C:. It does not show me the C: drive for repair. Windows 7 (new machine, not updated). Autoruns shows this file RDPCLIP. EXE be found at startup. This file is usually located in the System32folder. Unable to restore the system of time earlier because of unspecified missing file (rdpclip.exe?). System seems to be runnuing normally except these two questions. Occasional freezes (once just by renaming the downloads folder). How can I get
new file restored to the version of Windows 7?Note: CLIP.exe is in the System32 directory.
Hi bigdome6984,
If your machine acts as a Terminal Server, i.e. someone else connects to your computer using remote desktop, then rdpclip.exe will be loaded on your computer as part of the functionality of Server Terminal Server.
RDSCLIP is loaded on the computer, allowing other machines to connect via Remote Desktop.
It should be found at the following registry location:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlset\Control\Terminal Server\Wds\rdpwd\StartupPrograms
Important Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Hi all
I have a Windows 7 Enterprise system that I've successfully upgraded to Windows 8 business. Next step must now go to Enterprise 8.1. The whole idea was to avoid the re-setup and well with Windows 8.The problem is that when I switch to Windows 8.1 it installs then boots. During the startup, it stops with an error winload.exe is missing for corruption. Code 0xc0000098. All of the keys in the same message results accept the option to boot another OS (F9 I think). It starts in Windows 8 and said he couldn't install 8.1 and that 8 has been restored. Of course, everything is back like nothing happened. If this can help:The system is a Dell XPS 15 with the eSATA Intel and an SSD.Thank you!Hello Vijay,
Thanks for the reply. I do not end up understanding.
For the benefit of third parties:
Curiously, the ISO was corrupted. I say strangely because the ISO could be unpacked and burned on a DVD without errors. On a hunch, that I downloaded the ISO again, extract and it worked very well.
Thank you
