XPS M1330 (video) graphics card NVIDIA 8400 M GS - Windows Vista crash (blue screen)

Hi, community

I have a problem with this adapter. As soon as I plug the windows (vista) HDMI cable crashes and I get a 'blue screen '. I tried everything and nothing worked. The driver is version 7.15.11.5655 dated dated 23/08/2007.

Any information will be helpful!

PS - I tried to download the update of R180763 site of Dell, but I get an error when unzipping (110 error code).

I have a 4540 of Hp ProBook with a Radeon 7 x chip video integrated of series, platform Windows 8.1. When I watch videos with the browser Firefox video adapter fails and the computer sometimes freezes. If I watch videos with another browser I don't have a problem. I went to HP and have downloaded the latest drivers from AMD but still no will. So far, the only solution is to not use Firefox when watching video clips. In short, I don't know what direction to go, and since the problem seems to be specific with Firefox, I thought I would draw your attention to the problem.

Some additional info... If I bypass the Radeon chip, i.e. use the alternate Intel video chip, I don't have a problem. It said the native PC with Windows 7 pro with the upgrade software and the key of Windows 8. In any case when 7 was installed there where no problems with the playback of videos in Firefox. Installing Windows 8 was installed a clean place, not an upgrade...

  • How to install the graphics card Nvidia Quadro 4000 in Dell R710

    Hi all

I read a lot about the installation of the Nvidia Quadro PCIe x 16 card in a Dell R710.  I know what parts I need to order (Dell GP347 PCI-e left Riser), but I don't know how to install the power cable 6 pin required by the Nvidia card.  Where would connect it to the motherboard Dell R710?  Is there a place to connect?  If not, is there some type of power provides I can hang the 6-pin power Cable from Nvidia and power the server?  Any help would be appreciated.

It's a bit old now, but thought I would answer that I had this work and very happy with the performance!

In addition to editing card, that I needed, there is NO way to provide the power that the card must provide without a power SUPPLY.  There is a really small box listed on Newegg called "ePOWER EP - 450CD 450W ATX12V/EPS12V modular juice dedicated to the area of graphics card and CPU of power".  Buy and run the GPU power cable to an empty PCI slot at the back of the Dell server.

I also bought some video cards NVidia Quadro 4000 2 GB GDDR5 PCIe for each of my 5.5 ESXi servers. Also, I left my active integrated video graphics card and it is always primary for my hypervisor.

Download and install the NVidia ESXi drivers on their site and follow the directions to install.  Reset.

I use sVGA with my Horizon offices and downloaded a trial version of Sketch-Up to test the 3D.  They have a community of users who post 3D renderings and you can download it directly from the Sketch-up program.  Cruise around and check the performance.

As a side note, I noticed IE worked worse way by using the GPU when browsing the internet.  Go to settings, advanced in Internet Explorer and has the option at the top of the page "use rendering software instead of GPU".  This change makes IE works as expected.

  • Satellite P100: Why the graphics card Nvidia 7900 is not available in the United Kingdom?

Why nvidia 7900 GPUs is not available in the p100 to the United Kingdom? Europe & Middle East the 7900gs is available in the continent. The 7900 gtx in the States is available.

    Why?

    Hello

I put t believe that it of not possible to buy a P100 with the graphics card Nvidia 7900 to the United Kingdom. If you can't buy it forms mobile phone dealer in your city, so I'd check the shops online cell phone.
I studied a little bi and found these P100 units with the graphic card nVidia 7900.

    Satellite P100-426; P100-194; P100-191; P100-196; P100-215; P100-222

I found three different cards which were delivered with the P100:
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900; GeForce Go 7600 and Intel 945GM Express

Anyway, the P100 is a new laptop and eventually you can't buy it in every store, but in my opinion several times this unit should be available in the United Kingdom with the GeForce Go 7900

  • Resolution is dependent on the video graphics card memory?

Resolution is dependent on the video graphics card memory? If that's true then how much resolution a 2 GB card can support? I mean on what map I'll be able to run a game like 'NFS RUN' on a resolution higher, if I have 2 cards with the same specifications but difference is 1 GB and 2 GB, I don't speak of GDDR3 128 bit NVDI GT 440. ?

Resolution is dependent on the GPU, and not on the installed memory. The memory will help the screen refresh more quickly, and video help in smoother race.

    According to the specs here:

    http://www.GeForce.com/hardware/desktop-GPUs/GeForce-gt-440-channel/specifications

You should be able to get a maximum digital resolution of 2560 x 1600 and an analog-resolution 2048 x 1536 (VGA). This assumes of course that your monitor will be very high. The highest card ira is limited by the capabilities of the monitor also.

Thus, the memory card more than video, that you, smooth graphics should work, but it will have no effect on the resolution.

  • Dual display (x 2)-l' one is PINK/PURPLE in color, how can I check for errors of video/graphics card?

I'm trying to implement 2 screens (extended desktop mode) and when I connect them both, however, I got a picture on two screens, one of them is color purple/pink.

I have swithced monitors around, it's NOT either of the monitors, they bot work very well... and the cablesARE guaranteed in the monitors and computer ports.

What is the video/graphics card which is the problem?... If so, how can I check these errors?

    Thanks to all who respond!

Try changing the cables, if they are of the same type.

I think that the problem is a damaged cable.

This computer has an amd radeon hd 6550d graph with / 3 gb (I think) (which is more than 128 MB recommended)

and the drivers are up to date.

I get the error message "device 0 cannot run this title, no video graphics card supported not detected" and I can't seem to do anything to solve this problem.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Sims3 deluxe/ambitions three times now, with the expansion of ambitions installed so the third time.

  • Upgrade of Windows 8 has changed my graphics card driver, & now I get vertical bars on the screen.

Upgrade of Windows 8 has changed my graphics card driver, & now I get vertical bars on the screen, sometimes flashing. It is sometimes difficult to use the screen, especially when it has a dark background. It is a HP Desktop quad core with card Nvidia GEForce 9600.  I tried to roll back the driver, but that didn't help. I assume that the driver I need is no longer available. I also went to Nvidia to try to find a better driver that would eliminate this problem, but no luck.  Before, this came with an update on Vista, & I could correct in the way to roll back the driver. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to www.nvidia.com and download the WHQL 306,97 drivers updated successfully.

With the installation of Windows 8, Microsoft provides only the "bare" minimum drivers in order to complete the installation of Windows.

  • I installed a new video card GeForce 8400 RS in windows 7 and it will not update driver

It will not allow the pilot to upgrade and also sometimes it disappears on the desktop with the exception of the wallpaper... It will allow you to do something. If I hit Ctrl/Alt/Del nothing appears I can also do a right-click and extract options but nothing happens when I click on one of them... Cannot disable CPU with the power button on dell xps 410.le turning to close and were all back in order through the surge protector or taken, any ideas?

With some DELL machines, to use the drivers provided by DELL so if you did not
typo with - GeForce 8400 RS, then you may need to try DELL support drivers for your card.

If the graphics card is a Geforce 8400 GS, you can use the drivers from Nvidia.
Select the Geforce 8 Series and select the appropriate version of Windows - 32 or 64 bit
    for your machine.
I think it best not to go newer than the driver WHQL 296.10 with your card.

Do not leave Windows Update update graphics drivers (in the "optional" updates)
Installation of the Windows updates for only you inform of updates and not install automatically.
It is also more secure with respect to the potential for corruption updates as you do is much smaller.

You have activated Windows yet? Don't no activation will keep you from being able to save a
wallpaper when you then load Windows.

To use the power button / stop windows down you must set up this way in the
Control Panel > Power Options > choose the power button.

  • Upgrading the video graphics card - HPE-180 t

I need to upgrade the video card in my HP Elite HPE-180 t. My PC came with ATI Radeon HD 5450 graphics card and the standard power 460 watt. I intend to switch to NVIDIA GTX 650 it, model 2 GB. I do a lot of editing video and need a video card that has "cuda" processors on the video card.

My questions are this card with my work computer at will (1) and will (2) I also need to update the power? If food needs to be replaced what brand and size of power supply should I buy?

Most GTX 650 it require a 450 Watt or greater power supply with PCIe auxiliary power connector. You may or may not need to provide a new power. Please review the Corair CX500, CX500M, CX600, or CX600M your power supply needs.

  • Dekstop icons and subpages shrunk after installation of the graphics card NVidia

    Original title: customization and office

When installing an nvidia graphics card, I later discovered that my desktop icons and the subpages have shrunk. I tried different remedies like zoom etc, but nothing helped. Please, can someone help restore all icons and pages to their normal size? Thanks in advance.

Looks like you've changed your screen resolution.

Assuming that you have installed the drivers that came with your new video card, right-click on an empty space on the desktop and select Properties.  Then click on the settings tab.

At the bottom left of the window, you will see a slider under "screen resolution."  Move it to the left decreases the resolution and increases the size of icons and text.  Move the slider to the right does the opposite.

Note that if you have a flat screen LCD, the display driver would have chosen the resolution "native" of the monitor, which is usually the best choice - even though the icons may be too small for you.  LCD monitors can technically support the resolutions lower than their native resolution, but the image can be small, centered on the screen and fringed in black; or the image will be stretched.

  • XPS 435 t - graphics card double slot?

I guess we can integrate a video card double slot the existing PCI-Express 2.0 16 slot. I do not if I hide the adjacent PCI 1 slot because it is empty.

If dual slot graphics cards stack up?

    It's absolutely, positively FALSE.

    Why say that?

The Studio XPS 435 / 9000 video slots has full size. Total and 6 locations.

A range of maps of graphics ATI including the Radeon HD3450, HD3650 HD4670, of the HD4850 and HD4870

The map in the image below is a DOUBLE WIDE 4870.

I recommend the upgrade of a corsair CS750M power supply if you plan to use a map of hunger of power such as Geforce 960 because the 475W stock power is a bit too small IMHO.  I had an EVGA GeForce GTX 960 SuperSC ACX 2.0 + 2 GB memory GDDR5 128 bit, 02 G-P4-2966-KR to work with the power supply but I was not comfortable leaving in this way.

    The Studio XPS 435 t uses 1333 MHz DDR3 non - ECC and non - ECC DDR3 1066 MHz.

  • XPS Studio 1647 graphics card

Hi, my dell studio xps 1647 had a damage to the motherboard and I replaced it with a new one.

I can move the old motherboard graphics cards to the new?

Part of not changing my computer for a new XPS was because I was really happy with the original graphics card, a 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670.

    I'd appreciate your comments.

    Best regards.

The video chip is permanently soldered to the motherboard - it isn't his own card, so you cannot move from one Board to another.
