YouTube crashes my computer

I want to make this short. Anyway, long story short, I called Microsoft and after some time they installed Win 7 because it has altered the day and does not start because I did not know that the computer is transformed and on and reverse the switch so that it was in mode 'sleep'. Since the operating system (Win 7, 64 bit) was fixed Youtube stammered / froze the computer occasionally during less than a second. I even whent in a store that I bought, and they said that the material is very good. I did a disk check but I do not know the results. I have an SSD boot and a disc of 2 TB support for games and WMC both are almost complete with SSD to 5/128 GB of free and free of 86 GB/2 to. I was told it could cause problems, but I don't know. Please help me, Im down on my luck in a situation of bad life without a job and might have serious depression. I have serious concern on my computer that I use it for everything. The computer only seems to freeze during playback of youtube videos, I stop and the gel seems slowly to stop, sometimes he still does others it does 1-2 hours later. I even removed flash player; but I think that it automatically reinstalled. There was also a GPU driver who seemed to install fine without any problems or change. Yet once, please help me!

  • YouTube crashes my computer. Blue screen event.

OK, so I have a Toshiba laptop running Windows Vista. The browser I use is Mozilla Firefox (just recently downloaded a new beta version of it too and tried, doesn't help). Every time when I am on youtube, my computer stops and gives me a blue screen (it takes sometimes an hour, two hours, three hours, or more, he also made right after the computer starts, and I tried with open, only youtube is not that I'm running too much, I don't think). Then it restarts itself until I have a chance to read anything on the blue screen and tells me that windows is recovering from an unexpected shutdown. It gives me nothing when I'm looking for a solution, but it's the details it gives me:

I looked in the youtube support forum. Called me the Microsoft support forum to get a solution.
Then I thought I should check the manufacturer's Web site. At first, I was sure that it was something wrong with my DVD player, but I fixed and it is always the case. A little more than a week, I did a restore of the system at the factory, so I am not convinced that that is going to work, however I didn't start having this problem until AFTER I did the restore... then maybe it was? I do not know.

Someone suggested that I acquired a virus. I have anti-virus software.
And may not have something to do with my computer overheating because I use a cooling block. Any help would be much appreciated!

Oh! And it occurs both in Internet Explorer. And I always check the updates of Windows on my computer. I download when I have them, but right now I have not any significant.

I was finally able to get the blue screen to stay long enough for me to read. It said it would close down because it has detected a problem and is trying to prevent any damage to my computer. He said that if I had never seen the message before, just restart, but if I had seen him before following a bunch of steps I don't understand completely...

To check if a disk space sufficient (-adequate for what?)

If a driver is identified in the stop message (which I do not know if it is) I need to disable the driver (which I do not know how) or consult the manufacturer for the update of the driver (I guess that means on the Web from Toshiba site?)

Change video cards (once more... no idea?)

He also tells me to check the hardware provider for the BIOS update (don't know what it is or how to make)
Disable the BIOS such as caching memory options or shading (still don't know)

Then he told me how to go in safe mode, if I need to do it this way.

    Then he says this:

    STOP: 0X0000008E (0 X 0000005, 0X8D8497C0, 0XA6EFB6B8, 0X00000000)
    igdKmd32.sys - address 8D8497C0 base at 8 803000, DateStamp 4851d0b0

And then said a bunch of stuff about dumping something memory to disk or whatever.
If ya... If anyone knows what this means and can help me... PLEASE DO!

  • Firefox crashes my computer while playing graphic intensive games, but with Firefox off, they work perfectly.

Hello, I've installed various games on my computer like in Garry's Mod, and several other 3-d games that work perfectly does well without Firefox, no crashes no problems.
Several of my games (exception is minecraft), whenever I have firefox running and all, it will just crash my computer. Black screen instantly, without warning, just instantly everything turns off. I scanned several times, I have no virus and the games work normally without firefox.

But what would firefox do to cause crash with them on my computer? Is it possible to fix it?

Well, has gained stability, promising. Creates a new profile and restore the settings of Firefox, then Yes, you would probably lose these tabs.

How many legs were open? I have a creeping suspicion that the number will be medium high, losing them is a real threat (why not use a bookmarks folder?). If so, might want to focus on reducing that number or see if cancellation of preloading would help stability... Nevertheless, prolonged megatabbing seems unsustainable.

  • 38.0 update is slow, often unresponsive and crashes my computer. Is there a known problem?

Updated Thunderbird automatically updated last week. It crashed my computer (not only the program) whenever new e-mail notification area came. I have disabled notifications. This helped, but if my computer loses its connection to the internet, Thunderbird crashes. The program is incredibly slow and unstable. When I click on an email, I find myself with parts of two windows. Finally, the system catches up and the screen looks very good. If I try to write an email, I get again some parts of two windows until it catches up.

Thunderbird has been among my favorite of all time programs. I have used it for years and have never had any problems until this update. Help!

  • Flash player crashes my computer every time

I encounter this problem yesterday, although I don't know exactly why.  I updated the flash player to version 11.2 on Firefox and tried to watch a video on the site of Reuters.  I heard a few seconds of the video, and then the computer froze.  The screen went black, and I had to reboot the system.

It's the same thing when I tried to watch the video with IE and Chrome.  I tried to watch several other Flash videos on other sites and had the same problem.

I, at that time, uninstalled and reinstalled all the web browsers, tried to reinstall the latest verion of 11.2 Flash and tried to uninstall 11.2 and install older versions (go back as a 10.2).  Nothing seems to solve the problem.  I am, at this time, completely unable to watch any video of Flash at all.  Oddly enough, I can see the embedded Flash animations, such as advertisements and whatnot.  The computer only works if I try to watch a video.

I uninstalled all Adobe Flash at this point and where I can't uninstall it (like Google Chrome) because the crashes and restarts difficult are not something I want to experience, even accidentally disabled.  But what the hell is happening?

    The specifications of the system:

    Dell Inspiron N7010

    Intel core i3 CPU M350 2.27 GHz

    4 GB of RAM

    Windows 7 64 - bit

Graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 (updated with the latest drivers).

    [SOLUTION]

I have dealt with this problem today - I built a brand new computer with a clean installation of Windows 7 x 64 - and the computer will crash and lock up with a black screen on playback of videos on youtube, etc - what happened in IE9 32-bit and 64-bit, and Chrome, but interesting not happened with Firefox.

Once again, it was with an ATI card and the last pilot video (8,9) and 11.2 Flash.

After spending some time debugging and solutions fo I cam across this thread and noted that the last user has solved its problem by using the latest beta of Flash 11.3.  So I installed on the computer, and low and behold, everything works perfectly, problem solved.  I also remember a similar problem happening around late 2011 with version 10.x and ATI drivers.

It is interesting in all of my research info on this problem, the common denominator was ATI graphics cards - I found anyone having this problem with any other chipset and he seemt o be also exclusively Win 7 x 64.  In addition, the symptom has always been a hard freeze with a black screen - there is never a BSOD or any error message.

As a result, I am now convinced that there is a compatibility issue between the Flash 11.2 drive and ATI Radeon HD graphics driver.

Hope this information is useful for Adobe developers and anyone else reading this thread with the same problem.

    Reinstall the drivers

    Please advice

    Hi Erik,

It is a very common problem with laptops that use an integrated graphics chip. Usually some of the features of the original graphics card are deleted from the integrated version to avoid overheating in the notebook. That's why the real drivers can be installed and you must use the Toshiba drivers provided instead, these are specially written not to use missing features.

Unfortunately, a lot of games (especially newer ones) try to use missing features and will cause the laptop to the accident or the game to run properly.

Unfortunately there is not much that can be done to correct this problem. You can try some Omega drivers to see if it improves the situation but there is no guarantee that they will work better than the Toshiba ones.
