• Anyone running ART?

  I was wondering if someone is running Art vs dalvik If Yes, how are you. I have been putting forward and backward. So far, the Art is significantly faster. It just runs a lot smoother. I noticed battery time on art stand is much better. However I noticed that the battery life is better on dalvik under heavy use.

  The ART is already compiled code. So, more space is needed and it will be executed quickly.

  Dalvik will compile when you start the application and it will be slow and it will take the space.

• Lenovo Vibe Z K910L change to the runtime of the ART

  My Lenovo Vibe Z runs on official 4.4 Android I got the week update via OTA last. I activated the option developer and changed my duration of Dalvik to ART. The phone has required a restart and everything by restarting, it got stuck at the start-up screen. What should I do to restore my phone?

  Hold the power button to turn off the phone, then hold the power and volume button to enter engineering mode, then choose recovery plant

  I heard that lollipop android works on default ART and there is no Dalvik option too. E bike has limited space so that means I won't be able to keep more games?

  Lollipop actually make ART by default. There no Dalvik in the system at all. This should not affect your storage space for games, however. The operating system is in its own partition in memory. It is the memory that is not accessible to the user.

  When the lollipop is installed on your phone, the old operating system is removed and replaced with Lollipop. So, it will take no more space in the memory like KitKat. At least in theory. The only way that the update might take if more memory is the memory is re-partitioned. I don't think that happens. It is not impossible, but I don't think that.

  I say this is to partition the memory, you must first format. If they did, then it would erase all your data. I've never seen this is the case. Then when they initially partition memory, they ensure, they have enough space in the system partition to cover the needs they need for future updates.

  You shouldn't worry about this. Don't worry about storage for your games. I hope this helps.

  Well, the principle of work of ART is the same as it was on KitKat however how much actual space it occupies will be known once the update takes place. Be prepared, however, you will not have as much available space there is on dalvik (obviously).

• ART and the battery issues

  Hi all! It's been a while since my last post here. Having spent of a Bionic to a Razr Maxx HD to a Moto X 2014 and recently a Droid Turbo... I have a few questions.

  I noticed that when I charge the phone using the Turbo charger, the phone tends to run a bit hot. Is this normal? I wouldn't say it's warm to the touch, very hot well. I got up the phone all together and the battery life took a hit from that, but everything around the battery doesn't seem to be as long as I thought. I had it with a low light and not too much use, dip below 20%, twice in the last hours 9. So about 65 percent of 9 hours battery drain. I never had a problem like this on my Razr Maxx HD or the Moto X 2014. He gets better?

  Another issue I have is that I recently spent at Runtime in the Dalvik for ART Developer options (so it is faster when the update of lollipop coming and for other benefits) but I found that when I turn on the phone, he optimized 253 all apps I had. Not a big deal, that happened when my X 2014 updated to 5.0. The question came when the phone charged the homescreen app command would not be responsible and I could not close the screen. So I turned off the phone, and when he turned he said he was 58 optimization apps. The app of command worked. I decided to do more market 3 times and now whenever I turn on the phone, it has to re-optimize 58 apps, can we explain why it does this or how do I do to stop?

  The only solution, I know, is to return to the Dalvik for now. For some reason just ART don't play well with the Turbo running the latest OS of KitKat.

  The 5.1 update, if and when it happens, should solve this problem because the ART is the default operator in this configuration.

• When I see a list of playlists on my iPhone, why can I not see the art of the playlist icon in iOS10?

  When I go into the app music, then choose a folder to synchronize playlists, I see a list of playlists, but the art of icon playlist just displays like this kind of gear purplish in a square. If I select a specific playlist, then I see the art of the playlist at the top of the page and that's fine - but I also want to see in the previous list.

  This behavior is expected today, or is there something in the settings I'm missing? I spent a good part of the time to learn these selection icons implemented, and I wish I could continue to see when I look at a list of selection.

• Lack of Cover Art after update 12.5.1.21

  I just updated to 12.5.1.21.  I usually replace the cover art of audio book with a jpg file which has more resolution.  All those images replaced disappeared. (windows to itunes version - win 10)

  (1) right-click on a book... Choose "Get Info"... Click the 'Work' [Note: NO scroll under work bar]

  (2) the OLD work appears... Click on "add a picture"... Choose new work (jpg) and click on 'open '.

  (3) new artwork appears AND the cursor appears under the window of the work

  (4) by using the slider I can see BOTH new & old work. Note the following points:

  (a) you can 'Add' the work the same (or other) several times and each additional image will appear

  (b) sometimes you can right click on an image and the choice of 'delete' or 'make' work include

  (c) select "Remove action" makes the image disappear in the window of the work - the slider bar shows that it

  (b) BUT once clicking on OK... The OLD image is back as cover art AND if you right-click... "" Get Info"".. "Œuvre art" "

  the new added images are gone!

  All added images of audio books before 12.5.1.21 left (that is to say not to read the information... Work - NO cursor). Only old illustrations.

  If you add a new image to an audio book (Get Info, work... Add an illustration), it disappears when you click OK.

  Then. Now if you upgrade you two get off book covers, that you added AND you can't add to their back (think 500 books and... custom covers)

  I must also add that this is not the 1st time an update broke something with audio books. Apple fixes it usually within 3 to 6 months.

  Are these sound files (.aa)?  If so, I can confirm the problem in 12.5.1.  I think that Apple have disabled the previous behavior where (unlike all other formats) illustrations for the .aa files changes created a reference to an image file that is separate, rather than changing the image embedded in the audio file.

  Benevolent God, there are more properties for a follow-up in the .sdef of iTunes that I could ever imagine. However, who is notably absent is the cover of the album. Since this is not directly a property, is there another way I can retrieve the track album art?

  Œuvre of art is a part of a track, not a property. Titles can have several works of art, each of which has its own set of properties.

  It is pretty trivial to get, if:

  say application "iTunes."

  the value myArtwork for each piece of track 1 in playlist "music."

  end say

  Once you have, you can analyze the data as you want. For example, to extract the JPEG image, you can:

  say application "iTunes."

  the value myArtwork for first work of track 1 in playlist "music."

  If the format of myArtwork is then set myPicture JPEG photo to the data of myArtwork

• Cannot manually add album art

  I just got a new computer and installed the latest version of iTunes for Windows. I added my music library without any problems and was pleased to see that album art has been updated automatically but on the few remaining albums who had not added automatically work I am unable to do it manually (click with the right button on album > info > work). Art seems to have been added but when I hit "ok" and return to iTunes there is no change, it still shows the grey double quaver.

  Photoshoot there a forum? If so you can ask it what devices people use

  Or do you mean photoshop? If photoshop, then there is an app.

  If photoshop then good or bad for digital art depends on what art you make. Drawing art or photos? because photoshop is, as its name suggests, based on the pictures, no work. There are applications that focus on the works of art and design

• Album art disappears for songs from the same album.

  I was wondering if anyone else has this problem with AirPlay on Apple TV (4th generation)

  Album art perfectly fine poster to a playlist in which each subsequent song has a different album cover than the preceding.

  If, however, I play 2 or more songs in succession from the same album (and with the same cover), the album cover displays the playback of the first track and then disappears to the other songs on this album. Album art does not appear again until a song on a new album (with different cover art) is selected.
